Why Say No To
Opportunities Where You Might Be Able To Pole Or Net-fish?
your Bible getting dusty? It's well-fed sheep that naturally reproduce,
not malnourished ones. It's well-fed Christians (learning from all the
counsels of God) that have strength to cast the net or their line out
into the deep where the people will bite. We can not take them where we
ourselves have never been spiritually, therefore we must grow in grace
and in the knowledge of God. We not only want to example a fishing lifestyle,
we want to give you daily devotionals with a personal evangelism emphasis (of different portion-sizes even--fishing-devos or
fishing-snacks--for all levels of appetite), dealing with the Word
of God, effective bait placement and use ...along with how to apply
basic common courtesy (which is no longer common). I challange you to prayerfully read one devo below per week for a year to get built up. God wants you to have sound edification that
strengthens and helps you in fishing for people.

Want fishing-devos that help you get closer to God and prepared you for deep-sea net casting!
Here are some fishing snacks that will help you grow ... when you don't have much time.
You can enjoy net fishing as much as you enjoy pole
fishing. Of course God wants a lot more people saved, but
sometimes I enjoy pole fishing more. There's more interaction,
more eye contact, more relationship building, more listening, more
questions. Cast the net all you can! If we are faithful in a
few things, God will give us greater things! Never fall so in love
with net fishing that you retire your pole, tackle box and lures.
Some preachers do that. they love the camera and crowds, but are never
with the one -- they just lose touch. But you can balance your teaching and touch,
your love and discipline. Be winsome in Him, as you focus on each
one that the Lord brings your way. Christ didn't heal everyone, but
Jesus Christ never got so successful in reaching the masses that He
didn't take time to stop for the individual in need. Are you bigger that
Jesus in your own mind? If we get back to Bible methods, we'll get
Bible results!
