Know The Bible So Well That When A Counterfeit Even Looms On The Horizon, You Will Know It In A Heart Beat!

Do you have questions about God, the Bible, church membership, Science, angels, heaven or what is involved in becoming a real Christian? Maybe you need more information regarding  cults, cultic practices or even religious-weirdness within Christendom?  I'm all for being under authority in a local church and obeying all authorities short of sin, but I also thank the Lord that He didn't say "Follow my people!"  No, He said, "Follow Me."  God wants us all to think and to consider our ways in the light of the Scriptures. And we want you fully equipped for one-on-one evangelism and one-on-more-than-one evangelism.

have you taken the time to listen to one of kurt's exciting messages...

Why not just keep it positive, Kurt, and not get into knowing about the wrong things people believe? Well, that's a very good question. Here's why: We need to understand where people are coming from, so we can more intelligently address their wrong beliefs and explain why the Bible has it right. If they believe wrong, they will live wrong. I warn people I love when it comes to danger. Not to warn them would be wimpy! There is simply too much at stake here! Did you know there where some men outside the world trade center in New York on 9-11 directing those exiting back into the building, saying: It's ok to reenter now. Things are under control and everything will be ok.

I say this regarding teachers, if they live in a massively large house without orphans, have a diamond pinky ring, Armani shoes and some kind of a pompadour sweep-over hair-thing going on, that might be the first sign of them being a false prophet.

The Bible says, "There were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you… and many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you" (2 Pet. 2:1-3).

False Prophets are on the broad path, near the wide gate saying "Enter in and it will be safe for you. This is the way of peace (even if they know the people under their sway are sinning). Don’t think about it. You will be saved, just follow me, they say.

fishing is so exciting when Jesus is Lord!

My pastor in California, Chuck Smith, once told me that "Ninety percent of what a false teacher teaches is true."  I believe it.  As God prepares you through study, wise application, fellowship and prayer, you can be ready for anything the devil might bring your way.  Cultists are not the enemy.  Love the in the right way.  God really loves them too, but He doesn't want you confused or pulled down by their Scripture twisting and deception.  Choose to be ready to give an answer (from the Bible) for the hope that is within you with accuracy, gentleness and respect.  Don't even follow so called Christian preachers who regularly hurt God's people like they own them ...or deny Cardinal Christian Doctrines.  If they fail to teach the truth, or give an over emphasis in their Bible-light-teaching on you giving money to them -- if they fail to practice what the Bible teaches regarding love and respect of all people of every color and background ..then ditch them and find a flawed, healthy, Christ honoring church with a saved, spiritual pastor (you know what I mean, all churches are flawed, but some are sick).  Remember, cultists and aberrant Christian ministers might mix a little truth in with the lies they believe, but you have a real relationship with a Person -- Jesus Christ who will help you witness and they don't even know Him.  Start now to intercede for your friends locked in a web of deception.  I don't always agree, with every end-times stance or tiny aspect what what different apologists have to write about, but check out the hundreds of great articles dealing this subject at equip.org if you have loved ones glued to a troubling teaching, guru or group.
