What is God's business? It's is fishing for souls and helping other Spirit-born Christians better worship, better serve, and better fish for souls. We call this the Great Commission! Building disciples who can be no-compromise-influencers for Christ in the marketplace, in the church and in society. We want business people everywhere to become closers of the ultimate deal, and help others become closers too.

I am so grateful to my dad, a godly businessman, who has taught me a lot about being a committed Christian in the world. And I still enjoy learning from Christian business people today. Part of the vision of Fish For Souls is to help mobilize Christian business professionals who have a passion to take their talents, convictions, skills, knowledge and zeal for Christ ...to go and impart the Gospel Message along with the things they’ve gained—skills, qualities and principles into the marketplace of different nations …starting in this great nation. By both winning and equipping Christian business people, we at F4S can encourage, support and lift up the arms of God's unsung fishing business heroes in one of the most neglected ponds of life—the market place. We are trusting God to use us, as we team up with strong, biblically successful, Christian leaders for spiritual, emotional and economic renewal in nations …yes, starting right here at home.

How beautiful to see, sold-out Christian business people ministering to other business people, as only they can do. How can we help? Our goal is to assist and strategically align soul-winning-pastors and Christian business people in third, second and first-world nations for the cause of Christ in their own lands. Yes, we want biblically literate business leaders to be catalysts for knowing the top Fisher and for fishing, so together we can help bring closure on Christ’s Great Commission. You don’t want to live for the dot in stead of the line …so to speak! How can I motivate you and explain ongoing impact? You don’t live for the dot, (for gaining for yourself) within the circumferences of the tiny little dot of your life in history (I mean your short little time here on earth).

The people of the world are living for the dot so to speak (yes, for themselves during this earthly experience), saying: “Get all the gusto you can,’ “climb to the top of the ladder of success”, “Us four and no more”, “You only go around once in life. You deserve it.” But listen Christian, even though your life is like a vapor, like a little dot in history, God can make the good influence of your life’s ministry as a committed Christian fisher …through prayer, the right words, attitude, deeds and non-deeds of simply taking time to wait on the Lord for His direction …be like an anointed, influencing line (on top of the continuum-line of history to impact people beyond your earthly existence). God will start from the date of your second birth and onward. Get caught by Him! Get hooked on Jesus now, if you aren’t already!

We each can be a fisher now, but also send a powerful witness ahead of us into the future to those who will outlive us. Your grandchildren will need that from you. The next generation will too. In reality, you don’t merely go around once in life and then you’re snuffed out into nothingness as beer commercials would have you believe. You (your person) will go on for all eternity somewhere (in either heaven or hell). And living full throttle for Christ in the workplace will help turn other dots so to speak (Christian lives) into dynamic lines that stretch out far on the continuum of history, as people hear of your witness, read and surrender all to Christ. We want to take as many business people to heaven with us as God makes it possible, even ones yet to be born.

Pray with us that God will make us a blessing to undernourished professionals wanting to make a difference. God can make this happen! Our prayer is to involve mature Christian businessmen and women to participate in the hands-on training of other Christians desiring to become better fishers in the business arena. Yes so that immature Christians will burn red hot, win souls and adopt their eternal perspective and mentality in the areas of:

God is working in the Marketplace’s of American and around the world, to convict and draw unbelievers and to motivate and minister to believers so they will seek to know Him better, so they will obey Him and witness to the unbelievers. God said we would “be” witnesses and that is so important, but too many of us never say anything after we have gained their respect.  We’ve seen too many flakes come off wrong. We are afraid of being rejected or of making a mistake in this important endeavor. But faith (saving faith) comes from hearing the Message of the Gospel. People are God’s plan A and he has no plan B. He could use angels, but He likes to use imperfect Christians to advance His Kingdom. You, business people and leaders have a very important role to play in bringing the Kingdom of God to earth. Pray, pray, pray! We at Fish for Souls want God to use us to come along side of you and help you do this better. I believe that Christian business professionals in the 10/40 window and beyond must be equipped with Biblical principles as well as practical business skills by Christian business people willing to go and tell. God has given us so much technology here in the western world (much of which come with software that demands business people to know English …and most of the world wants to learn this so they can advance) in their part of the world. We can be interdependent with the Christians there not with some paternalistic attitude, but as we learn from each other, in order to be change agents in this world. Our goal is to align sound pastors and business people for the cause of Christ so that they can work jointly to lift their nations out of the spiritual poverty cycle and every other kind of negative cycle.  By winning and equipping Christian business people as well as church people here and in less developed blessed countries God can use us to bring spiritual and economic renewal to nations. God has a career calling for everyone, if they would only respond and one calling is important like the next one. God loves us all the same. Our prayer is for great spiritual awakening and biblical revival, and it starts in one heart, in one business, in one church, on one street, in one home at a time.

Fishing is so exciting when Jesus is Lord!

When was the last time you asked God to give you boldness and an opportunity to share your faith at work--in a way that didn't impede what your boss wanted to accomplish? Through a prayer offered in biblical faith, you can appropriate Christ's powerful enabling and courage right now! We have not because we ask not. Ask Him for a harvest today! Maybe you need to candidly come clean before the Lord in repentance and make a new start with Jesus? Listen, He loves you and will forgive. Are you determined to witness for God according to your own way? Don't do it!

None of us are perfect, but if you "will not" deny your flesh and tactfully live the life by the power of the Spirit, please do not verbally tell others of Jesus Christ at work or anywhere. I know that might sound kind of harsh, but don't give the ultimate, worldwide Fishing Cause a black eye. Let your words line up with your walk to the Glory of God!
