Remember how Jesus said that He is the life.. yeah He actually did.. and He's thee way and the truth as well. Your way, my way ain't as good and I don't know anyone else who claimed to be all three. Do you?

To me life is growth. It means relationship with God. 

And Zoe abundant life is found in knowing Jesus Christ and His truth. Unending life is in Him alone. Infact, there is no spiritual growth here, apart from Him - why be separated from the living Word of God another day? Don't stay down. Give thanks and rejoice in Christ, for He alone is called the Word of God and guess what... He has a good word for you cuz of His great love. 

"Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance face." Psalms 42:5, 11; 43:5

You know that if you or I stop growing while we are here, technically and spiritually, we are as good as dead. When we believers stop, we start to go backwards. Why do that where you ain't facing or in your heart wanting to head that way? It's either forwards with Jesus or backwards, and there's no in between. He said He'd meet all your needs. So be encouraged not to quit following, or remain empty going back to the world to meet your needs.
