You've tried not to, but you do have some. Some real enemies.

This 1.) world system that tells ya to do what it tells ya to do, your 2.) old fleshly nature that also demands and seems to stay in total agreement with the former -- this world. And 3.) Mr. Lu-Cifer with his creepy fallen angelic dweebs (now remember, only a third of them rebelled/fell). Those are your real enemies, Buckeroo. Yeah, more so than the haters (angry people) who decide to become your enemy. 

Fight the good fight of faith, take hold of the Prize. Soul-winner Dwight L. Moody once voiced, “I have more trouble with D. L. Moody than with any other man I’ve ever met.”

Even if you now have a new nature inside, that old fleshly nature that constantly contends is such a weird thing to have to deal with huh.

“Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.” #Phil2:3

Now, if you have a fallen angel inside. No big deal. just repent and ask Christ to come in and forgive you. Solved. They can’t dwell together. No time-share agreement in you.
