I pray that we could pray in the USA today. Yep, would effectively. Today, we want to see the strongholds of evil crumble away, Lord.

"The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him.." Daniel 9:9

Life, liberty, free speech, safety for lost and saved Americans etc. -- man, a whole lot's at stake. Understatement!

So much of the craziness we are seeing this week boils down to just two issue: Pleasure seeking and abortion. They’ve threatened to riot, to burn down cities, and even to go to war.. for real. That’s how much they want to produce and then kill innocent babies (but they don't want to produce really, they want to un-produce). Scary horrific stuff.

The pandemic has just ended it would seem.

"The end of Roe v. Wade?" ~ Senator Tom Cotton (who is on the short list. Man, I pray it gets overturned!)

"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened by religious rituals that provide no peace, and I will give you rest refreshing your souls with salvation. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me following Me as My disciple, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest, renewal, blessed quiet for your souls. For My yoke is easy to bear and My burden is light." ~ Jesus, Matthew 11:28-30 amp

We can feel tired, down, weary, and pretty emotionally distraught inside, but coming to Christ, gettin’ alone to spend some time with him can help so much! We find that He injects into us a new energy of sorts (not some new age type), but a new power and new strength from his Spirit.

Would you pray something like...

- Father, turn us back to you. we wholeheartedly unite to pray for another outpouring here today -- we so need that. Jesus, we all seriously need you! Do forgive us here in the USA, each one of us. No form of self righteous prayin' will help any. Please grant repentance and faith unto life, yes saving faith for those who don't yet know you here. Religion won't help us, it never has. Please revive and fully restore your believers here, and do send another spiritual awakening, Lord. do it again. Forgive us for all our pleasure seeking, abortions and independent living away from you. So, SO many killings of innocent babies. We come to you and humble ourselves before you, please be merciful. Search our hearts...

- Father, we come, because all have sinned and fall short of Your glory...
With Daniel’s heart and attitude, we confess that we Your people have sinned. On our watch our nation has spiraled downward to such a low level in morality. Search us, for You know our hearts and thoughts. Lead each of us to specifically confess and hang a U-turn to you. We agree and pray for wisdom, even for our leaders. Let the best choice be made for our Supreme Court Justice. We pray they'd be confirmed quickly -- we don't want more needless riots. (Romans 3:23; Psalm 139:23-24; 1 John 1:9; Jeremiah 15:19)

- Father, forgive us for not loving You with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our strength...
Your Word tells us that we are to show our love for You through our obedience to the word. We need your grace to empower, to give courage and guidance, Lord. If we, Your people, have been as obedient as we should be, would the sins of our nation be so great today? Help us hate sin to the same degree that you hate it, and love righteousness like you do as well. We need illumination with the Scriptures in your local church. Show us where we have grown distracted, worldly and lukewarm and failed to obey. (Matthew 22:37-38; John 14:15, 21, 23, 24; 1 John 5:3; 2 John 6)

Since God knows our future, our situation, our plans, our personalities, and our capacity to just listen to his truth today, His Spirit isn't going to speak more to us than we can deal with at the moment.

- Father, forgive us when we fail to love our neighbors as ourselves...
We are commanded to love our neighbors as ourselves—love free of prejudice or favoritism, or we sin. Today social injustice is being revealed in ways many have never understood it. Now that we know, show us how to truly love our neighbors, especially the lost. Make us bold in sharing Christ; open their hearts to receive Him. (Matthew 22:39; James 2:8-9, AMP; Acts 16:14) Continue on at any time as the Spirit leads you in personal prayer...

- Father, forgive us when we fail to love others as Jesus loves us...
Jesus’ command is to love one another as He loved us, that by our love for one another, others will recognize us as His disciples. Is our love for one another a witness to the watching world? If not, show us where we fall short. Lead us, enable us to change. (John 13:34)

- Father, guide us as we continue to pray for the sins of Your people, the things on Your heart...

“You were taught with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires...and to put on the new self..” (Ephesians 4:22-24). I come in a spirit of repentance, to confess my sins and the sins of Your people here as You bring them to my mind. Please let your will be done in our upcoming election on November 3rd, and even beyond that any some people will try to cheat. We are more concerned with what happens in your house than in our White House, but all that is very important as well. We want what is best for the people of this Land, Jesus. We agree and pray that the enemy and his crowd wouldn't mess up our election process. Let your Kingdom come, let your will be done.

- Father, we don't want hard stubborn hearts. Open our eyes and ears today. Please have mercy on our nation.. so blinded by the darkness of sin. We need you now. “You must no longer live as the Gentiles [the lost] do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardness of their hearts..” (Ephesians 4:18-29). In Your mercy show us how to continue on in praying against the strongholds of evil that sadly seem to have become the norm in our nation (we want to see a change, we want it gone from our Land! And we want to win the lost while we still have some time). We want to the strongholds crumble -- including online porn, the exporting of it, sexual sins, the abortions -- idolatry, and others. In Jesus’ name, amen.
