Heaven is a place of rest (I love a good nap, but only for so long). It’s a place of service (great opportunities). God’s going to utilize all of your skills so you can even finish some of your unfinished tasks that you started on earth. Some dreams started here will be completed there. It’s a place where tragedy turns to triumph. Handicaps will be gone.. The mental, emotional, physical ones..all gone! Your disability will be turned into an ability. Heaven is a happy place, a joyful, happin’ and hoppin’ place.

You can experience JOY and Growth. We hear so much about spiritual growth today from some many people. Did you know there is zero of that apart from the living word of God. It’s true, and wise application is so important. Many so called Christians have foolishly applied the principles of Scripture and have given the Gospel and His church a black eye so to speak.

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues [in it], and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.“ James 1:21-25
