Yeah, and you can go there. Not by what you've done, but by Him.. by what Jesus has done for you on the Cross. As you are.. come to Christ!
Are you hungry for the highmore? Are you homesick for heaven? Turn, trust, doubt your doubts, and believe in God's Son.
You will laugh again! Heaven -- a happin’, happy, and hoppin’ kinda place. You can be there one day! You’re and I are going to laugh gobs heaven. Not only from the humor, but from seeing people again that you missed. Not all will be there, but all those who chose Christ will be.
“..and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be death; there will no longer be sorrow and anguish, or crying, or pain; for the former order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:4 amp
Do you have the hope of heaven? The curse of sin on earth will be totally gone. No more to be seen. It brought sickness, aging, and death. One out of every one persons will sadly die ..unless we’re caught away first as some will be.
Factoid: Three people die every second, 180 people die every minute, 11,000 people die every hour, and 250,000 people die every single day. Sad but realistic and true.
You can have a living hope that won't disappoint!
Heaven is a place of rest (I love a good nap, but only for so long). It’s a place of service (great opportunities). God’s going to utilize all of your skills so you can even finish some of your unfinished tasks that you started on earth. Some dreams started here will be completed there. It’s a place where tragedy turns to triumph. Handicaps will be gone.. The mental, emotional, physical ones..all gone! Your disability will be turned into an ability. Heaven is a happy place, a joyful, happin’ and hoppin’ place.
"You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore." Psalm 16:11
“Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil because of the Son of Man.” Luke 6:22
We have been rejected at times and have suffered losses here, but we will dance! In new bodies even! We will literally win in the end! Have you felt depressed or down at times? You’re not alone -- God is there for you.
“I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears..” Psalm 6:6-8
”My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?” Psalm 42:3
“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.”
Psalm 28:7
“I do not think that the life of Heaven bears any analogy to play or dance in respect of frivolity. I do think that while we are in this ‘valley of tears,’ cursed with labor, hemmed round with necessities, tripped up with frustrations, doomed to perpetual plannings, puzzlings, and anxieties, certain qualities that must belong to the celestial condition have no chance to get through, can project no image of themselves, except in activities which, for us here and now, are frivolous.
For surely we must suppose the life of the blessed to be an end in itself, indeed The End: to be utterly spontaneous; to be the complete reconciliation of boundless freedom with order–with the most delicately adjusted, supple, intricate, and beautiful order?
How can you find any image of this in the ‘serious’ activities either of our natural or of our (present) spiritual life? Either in our precarious and heart-broken affections or in the Way which is always, in some degree, a via crucis? (meaning: the Way of the Cross).
No, Malcolm. It is only in our ‘hours-off,’ only in our moments of permitted festivity, that we find an analogy. Dance and game are frivolous, unimportant down here; for ‘down here’ is not their natural place. Here, they are a moment’s rest from the life we were place here to live.
But in this world everything is upside down. That which , if it could be prolonged here, would be a truancy, is like that which in a better country is the End of ends. Joy is the serious business of Heaven.” – C.S. Lewis
Have you been banished and excluded here? You will laugh and make others laugh with joy in heaven. Jesus looking at his disciples began sayin’, “Blessed spiritually prosperous, happy, to be admired are you who are poor in spirit, those devoid of spiritual arrogance, those who regard themselves as insignificant, for the Kingdom of God is yours both now and forever. Blessed joyful, nourished by God’s goodness are you who hunger now for righteousness, actively seeking right standing with God, for you will be completely satisfied. Blessed forgiven, refreshed by God’s grace are you who weep now over your sins and repent, for you will laugh when the burden of sin is lifted. Blessed morally courageous and spiritually alive with life-joy in God’s goodness are you when people hate you, and exclude you from their fellowship, and insult you, and scorn your name as evil because of your association with the Son of Man. Rejoice on that day and leap for joy, for your reward in heaven is great -- absolutely inexhaustible..” Luke 6:21-23 amp fish4souls.org
