A Christian leader who is involved in ministering God's word to His people needs to be more involved with the Lord in private. Let not the fire diminish any.

..cuz it's important to walk in love, have spiritual balance, discernment, and red-hot passion for Christ.

Your spiritual temp is important.

JESUS WARNED US ABOUT THOSE THINGS THAT COULD EXTINGUISH THE PASSIONATE-FIRE (SO TO SPEAK) OF OUR HEARTS.
"Take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly" (Luke 21:34).

You know how the cares of this life can numb our hearts and cloud up our minds, pulling us away from the things of the Spirit. And from church too. Let's keep our love for Jesus burning brightly and steadfastly. We all need fellowship upwards and outwards with growing believers.

Q: WHAT IS THE CONDITION OF YOUR HEART TODAY?

Does your love for Jesus burn brightly inside, or has your love for Him waxed lukewarm or icy cold?

"The fruit of the Spirit is love." We all can speak the truth in love -- we all can remain passionate in the Lord. That good balance comes from knowing the Bible and it's Author well -- yes, from cultivating a prayer life.

"JESUS ACTUALLY WARNED US ABOUT THOSE THINGS THAT COULD EXTINGUISH THE PASSIONATE FIRE OF OUR HEARTS.

'Take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkemess, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly' (Luke 21:34).

The cares of this life can numb our hearts and cloud our minds, pulling us away from the things of the Spirit. Let's keep our love for Jesus burning brightly and steadfastly.

Q: WHAT IS THE CONDITION OF YOUR HEART TODAY? Does your love for Jesus burn brightly there, or has your love for Him waxed cold?" ~ Chuck Smith Sr.

Come to ..fully come back to God.

Ever Ask.. Who Is Fit to Mentor a Born-Again Soul Winner?

It's not anyone lukewarm or cold inside. It's a passionate Bible-loyal spiritual leader who earnestly prays for people and seeks to win lost souls.

I want to talk about lost passion today, but how this in a close walk with Christ, can be recovered. Real spiritual revival, spawning an awakening, can indeed happen, and it will start with prayers of repentance.

First-love-righteous-passion can be somewhat compared to a romance between a man and lady, or a would-be groom and his potential bride.

Guys know that when they first take a girl out for a meal, coffee and/or for concert etc., they sure want to make a good first impression on her cuz they only get one opportunity to do that. That's so normal.

So, the smart guy showers her with polite kindness (not overly with gifts etc). They make sure their shirt, best jeans or slacks, and shoes are clean. They show her respect and get her door. Yes, maybe they open the car or restaurant door for her. They pull out all the stops, pull out her chair at the eatery—a nice Italian restaurant.

Then a few of them get married, and some things change.

Some of the guys still open the car door for her and other's just beep it open with that button on the keys. I say wait until she’s all the way in car or restaurant before closing the door.

Is their heart still fully there? Something has happened with some of the. The passion has somehow jsut slipped away. Some are no longer making the all-star effort.

One inwardly neglected and hurt woman who wanted to divorce her husband after the drab efforts told her attorney, “I want this divorce to hurt him badly. I want him to feel as much pain as possible.”

The attorney said, “Here’s how to do it. For the next three months, smother your husband with affection. Compliment him constantly. Tell him what a great guy he is and how much you care for him. Then, when he’s feeling on top of the world, drop the divorce papers on him. He won’t know what hit him. He’ll be devastated when you walk out.”

The woman agreed to the doc's plan. For the next three months she complimented her husband daily, she affirmed him, and she told him how much she loved and appreciated him. What happened next? When the three months ended, her attorney wanting to make some bucks called her on the phone and said, “All right, let’s get this divorce started.”

The woman said, “Divorce? We’re going on our second honeymoon.” By committing to the relationship as God intends, the woman unwittingly re-ignited the flames of passion in the relationship again.

Similarly, when believers commit to time with Jesus.. to the Christian life as God intends—by studying Scripture, immersing ourselves in prayer, getting involved in a church, and sharing our faith—we fuel the fire of revival in ourselves and others.

That’s why Paul wrote, “So never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord. And don’t be ashamed of me, either, even though I’m in prison for him. With the strength God gives you, be ready to suffer with me for the sake of the Good News. For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 1:8–9 NLT).

One person’s spiritual boldness paves the way for others to follow, just as John Hancock’s bold signature on the Declaration of Independence gave others courage to follow.

Passion and boldness are key ingredients of revival.

"So never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord. And don’t be ashamed of me, either, even though I’m in prison for him. With the strength God gives you, be ready to suffer with me for the sake of the Good News. For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus." 2 Timothy 1:8–9

"Honest prayer, sincere thanks, heartfelt praise, and the acceptable worship of God -- those are the highest activities of any real Christian. In fact, it's impossible to properly live red-hot passionately for Jesus without maintaining these top priorities." @KurtwVs

A man who has never pled with a stranger to God's Kindom.. to do what? To flee the wrath that is to come.. a person who has never wept over one soul who is getting closer and closer so to eternity.. one who has never been involved in planting one local church with his own sweat. Man, that would be a poor guide for soundly shepherding God's people, however brilliant his mind is. He teaches from a book that he hasn't lived.

Seminaries today are full of gifted theologian-types who can defend the faith with precision and yet have never once verbally witnessed to a lost person or led one soul to Christ and His cross. Their students inherit an academic faith and head-knowledge instead of earnestness with fighting faith, armed with categories (which isn't always bad) but short on travail. A theology that produces no zeal for time alone with the Lord or for the lost is not worth passing on. Paul trained Timothy on the road, in prison, and under threat: "endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ" (2 Timothy 2:3).

The Modest Ambitions of a New Generation

A young pastor spoke out about his five-year goal. It was to grow his church from twenty to forty (trust God to use you to help them grow and mature spiritually and they bring their lost and saved friends with em). Not bad at all. Another said his only ambition was to teach and preach through every verse of Scripture on a schedule, nothing more. For decisions in wise applications? Exposition and steady growth are indeed good. But let there be a greater desire to get alone and bless the Lord. Otherwise, where did that burden for the lost of the city outside the doors go? Faithfulness in times of solitude and in public brings fruitfulness. Abide in the Vine. A plan to double twenty into forty is not really a vision though. It sounds like a spreadsheet with perhaps a verse taped to it.

Between 2015 and 2022, the share of pastors who believed that their church was effective at reaching the unchurched fell from 63 percent to 39 percent, a 24-point collapse in less than a decade. Only about three in ten Christians today strongly agree that they carry a personal responsibility to share their faith one on one or one on more than one with people. The Seminary pipeline seems to be producing managers of decline, not shepherds of authentic revival.

The Overcorrection Nobody Even Seems To Name

Know any high-D times? I like so many of those with natural leadership gifting. Now, fifty years ago the church endured some domineering types of men who pretty much bulldozed people in the name of their vision and mistook their volume for anointing. I did like the clarity of many.

Correcting.. that was necessary. But man, the pendulum seems to have swung past center in this correction. In repenting of prayerlessness and self-driven loud or pushy leadership, many of us have somehow built a system that manufactures overly cautious, tentative men preaching very cautious but boring sermons hard to put into practice..yes, to comfortable congregations that are calibrated to stay in a comfortable-neutral. We have not cured the so-called disease so to speak. We have swapped one imbalance for a quieter imbalance that rightly/aka biblcially challenges nobody. We can get closer to and more like the Lord.
Where Is the Fire of God For Building His Kingdom Today?

I mean regarding the zeal for the Lord and His Kingdom. Not talking about His judgment right now.. that indeed is coming.

There is a passion regarding getting folk to Christ for safety, and for keeping them from God's future judgment.

"His word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay" (Jeremiah 20:9). That is the preacher this hour demands, and the kind our current system rarely produces.

How can I get passion for Jesus (that's most important)? Pray, worship, spend lots of time alone with the Lord listening to His word speak to your heart. Let Him be Lord and change you.

Does my Christian marriage need some pure passion? Sure, but what does the Bible teach us about overcoming passionate lust?  You don't feed lust; you starve it to death. It's about dying to self (your old fleshly nature) and being careful with what you allow to enter your mind -- yes, your ear and eye gates. We are called to be holy as He is Holy.

What does the Bible say about having zeal? In the Lord have you ever been rightly zealous?

Can you give me some Bible verses about zeal?

People can develop crushes on other people they don’t even really know, such as celebrities, public figures, or teachers. The internet has provided a new source of crushing as cyber-relationships ignite and our only contact with people is through a screen. The teen years are especially crush-prone (you've been there, right, and I've been there. Many have married cuz of a crush they felt). Hormones today are running wild, and bodies are in various stages of maturity with an urge to merge. We are not always aware of the differences between love and a passionate crush, especially when we’re young, so we are prone to leap headfirst into romances or even sinful sexual liaisons that leave lifelong wounds. Love wiser!

My deeper concern today is not so much who sits in the White House (and that's a really good concern to pray and vote about minus any cheating), but it's about who fills the pulpits and pews in God's house.

May I say it again? Christ alone is the ultimate solution for this generation, and every Christian's first citizenship is in heaven, not in any political party (See Philippians 3:20). That said, plain speech is still owed: abortion, the sexualizing and gender confusion of children, and open hostility toward Christ and His church are not neutral policy disagreements. Scripture calls calling evil good a sin in itself (Isaiah 5:20), regardless of which platform promotes it. Naming a sin is not hatred. Silence in the face of it is cowardice dressed as tolerance.

We have traded the fire of God for caution, unction for competence, travail in prayer for polished technique. A man can be doctrinally sound and functionally lifeless, able to parse the Greek and never once weep over his own city. The question is not whether a minister can rightly handle a text. The question is whether God's glory has ever broken him, and whether he still burns to see the lost won to Christ.

Christ told Laodicea, "because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth" (Revelation 3:16). Lukewarm is not a safe middle. It is the one condition Christ calls intolerable.

Examine yourself. Red hot, lukewarm, or cold? Zeal without wisdom burns out. Wisdom without zeal lights nothing. Repent where you have gone cold, believe Him fully, and ask again for the fire Jeremiah could not shut up in his bones. KnowGod.org

Ya listen together, ya talk together, ya grow and go together.. yeah, ya walk together. Real close, and stay that way.

In healthy relationships, you know it’s about respect and candid communication.  Ya show honor to.  Yep, daily.

Q: How can you be or stay best friends with Someone you don’t spend a lot of time with.. or by staying all silent day in and day out?

Are you feelin' mad at God or at your spouse today? How much time have you prayed about that?

Bitterness is the acid that eats through and wrecks the container it's in. Forgiven people need to be forgiving people.

Cut em some slack, cuz you want them to do that for you ..right? Go vertical first. Stay in touch.. bitter and all irritated are way overacted

"And above all things have fervent love for one another, for ‘love will cover a multitude of sins.’” 1 Peter 4:8

Why if none are in danger from them, and they haven’t committed a crime where they might go do that again to hurt people.. go and report em?  I mean why go all public with your friend’s wrong-doin’s? Would you want em doing that to you? Love covers.  So cover em.. and first with prayer.

Remember when Noah got drunk after seeing that horrible ordeal? Lots of unbelievers wouldn't listen to what so.. they wouldn't hear him and they died. But his sons Shem and Japheth in love, took a garment and covered him. Let's be like them today.

Silence can be fatal. Especially in a relationship. But sometimes silence doesn't always have to mean something bad. Men and women react differently to the silence. And that's important to know when cultivating relationships! I say choose to pray together first and also. Choose to edify your friends like your sisters and brothers in church or school on a daily basis. Husbands, listen too, build up your wives and children with the Word. Live as an example. Point them out to Jesus. He is the ultimate Solution for any need a person can experience--can meet them all when I can't.

It's so imperative for real (born from above) Christians to chat with God everyday because this is the most important relationship there is.  Listen, ask questions.. He might answer you at this time or later. He owes us sinners nothing, but He is good and loves us. He wants a relationship with you too! Don't say your prayers, pray! It's how we grow and it's the ordained way we receive what we need from Him. Start by turning from sin and fully trusting God no matter what you feel like. Free forgiveness, simply ask and receive. Invite Him into your person and life.

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:12-13

Johannas 1:12-14

Listen, take heed to His words and principles, Listen to people carefully as well. Express from your heart. Wait on Him.. first. Show honor to Him and to all. Value time with them. You want to be valued right? Reach up first.. early is good.. and then outwards. All your relationships matter gobs, and you matter GOBS to Him as well. Yup, He loves you and has a good plan for your life -- that’s no empty cliché. Even when it looks or feel bad... He’ll make it all work together for good for you, lover of God. ALL of it, some is bad but He’ make it happen for good for you. See Romans 8:28-29. Real lovers seek and love God the most. See Matthew 6:33. We love because He first loved us. Visit.. What does God in the Bible say about communication?

Christian communication - what are the keys? Are there any so called keys?

How is prayer communicating with God?

How does one handle conflict in a marriage (or any relationship for that matter)?  Why is there so much conflict in relationships here?

God by His Spirit communicates. And when the Bible is open and your heart is too for what He’ll say from it... God speaks. Speak to Him, listen well or until well and obey His word.

The Bible is God’s love-letter to the believer. Are you one yet?

How do we decide which books belong in the Bible since the Bible does not say which books belong in the Bible?

Should a Christian use a dating service founded by whoever.. to communicate with, to meet, and perhaps find a spouse? Good question huh.

God spoke and will speak to your heart, believer. Wait on Him.

God is not hiding from men..all silent like. Nope. Men are hiding from God. Most are not reaching out or are reasoning with Him candidly. He says, Come let us reason together. Like potential close friends as he hopes will be the case. Yep, most people are running from and are hiding from.. and this started in the garden. Remember the fig leaves?

"At that moment their eyes were opened, and they suddenly felt shame at their nakedness. So they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves." Gen. 3:7 nlt

Love with no clear focus has no power. It’s not practical. The object of Love does matter and God who is love ..really loves you!

Love listens, love hears and grasps, and acts. If you have God's agape love in you, you won't just stay there sittin' on your blessed assurance.

Not passive or distracted at all - love. Not some mere energy source or feeling. Love is pure.

Love leads to good actions on behalf of the object of love. You are the object of God's love.

Over and over again. Love -- is a Person and He loves you. So SO loved. I can't overemphasize this.

My friends and I here in Plano Texas just love to talk about Christ and how his love is connected with the truth. Always.

Been thinking about how love is often about acting appropriately too, yes it's about applying God's word wisely. God is love all the time. Love is not just about talk, about yacking away, about nice words of charity or passion. Nope, it's about walking in love and showing God's love as Christ's witness. You know how anyone can talk about love, so easy to do, but Jesus acted in love every day.

All the way -- He went the distance and still loves you. He came into this world to daily show us God’s great love.. walked in love sinless even to Calvary's cross, loved us unto physical death, and even beyond all that, and beyond the empty tomb.

image

Real love originated with God who is love, who is light and who is true. Love is a Person today.

A real Person who is very interested in you.

Real love manifested here with God's Son, Jesus. God came here in love. He walked all the way to Calvary's cross.. in love. He did this for you, for them, and for me. In our place.

"No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.

By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.

And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

We love Him because He first loved us.

If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also." 1 John 4:7-21

God’s way is the way of love. “Lord,” said Thomas, “we do not know where You are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.” John 14:5-7

Where does real love start with us? With Jesus. Q. Is there only one way for each of us to one day get into God’s holy heaven? Yes, and that way has a name -- Jesus. Some people feel ticked when they hear that.

There is only one way to get born the first time -- you know that is true. (How narrow minded of God. Not!)

There is only one way to get born the second time ..spiritually. Yup, people get triggered, upset, and offended when we say this, but it’s also true.

There is only one way into God’s heaven says the Bible. Jesus said you must be born again. He said I am the way the truth and the life. Yes, God said that Jesus His Son is the only way. The forgiven people get in, and those unforgiven bad people are out. Lots of forgiven bad people will be in. Any can come to Jesus and be forgiven. Yes, Christianity is exclusive, (turn and trust in Christ today) but it's also the most inclusive exclusivity there is. knowGod.org

When Martin was under siege cuz of all the wrong that he'd seen, he earnestly sought and found his Mighty Fortress for eternal safety.

Strong rock-cleft for me, let me hide myself in Thee.

Not passive or unpassionate, but waiting on the Lord on fire, not fearful but taking ground for the Kingdom, not uninformed but learning truth by His Bible illumination, not unproductively here but instead live constructive by God's Spirit. Real passion comes from God. Ask. He hates lukewarm-apathy and indifference.. not hating people like that. He loves us all and expects us to live passionately in Him. Every area of our lives is to be touched by His passion. We all are to love Christ 24/7/365 passionately! God says...

"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men.." Col. 3:23

"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no activity or planning or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead) where you are going." Eccl. 9:10 amp

Man, remember Noah's ark? He was passionate for God and ran into it. It was like a cleft, a type of Christ. It was a safe refuge that went through a gnarly killer storm. The most beautiful thing about that ark as seen earlier, was that the door of it just stayed open a long time so that anyone could just come on in and hide away if ya will. It was mercy that God had Noah build the big "boat." I love God and His great mercy, that rescues sinners like me! He does that. I love His grace as well.

Please opt to be a worldchanger in the Father's worldchanging Son.. at the end of the world if ya will. You know it's at least the end of your world experience here right?

Noah was one who reached out to others in his world. He loved God, people, and perhaps even animals it would appear. He "found grace in the eyes of the Lord" (Gen. 6:8). Do you remember Noah's directives?

Noah and Lot both lived at the end of the world so to speak. Each at the end of their world right before a cataclysm arrived. Noah built a big boat and he won his family over to faith in the one living God, but Lot got a couple daughters out of town, away from the danger zone. You remember how his wife turned and looked in longing for that worldly place and got judged. Man, Lots' relatives didn't want to listen to him or follow. Did they feel they had too much to lose there? Was it due to his lame example that Lot set that he couldn't even get his own wife to safety?

You too can be spiritually "fruitful and multiply" here on earth while here. We can feel empathy and compassion like God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit do towards all those that God created. The Bible says, "And all flesh died that moved on the earth: birds and cattle and beasts and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man. All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, all that was on the dry land, died." Gen. 7:21-22

Let's all be and live righteous before the Lord. We can in Jesus Christ! I've been thinking a lot about Noah lately, not a whole lot about Lot really. Both were real persons of course. Noah preached the truth for over 600 years. You know that door of his ark which was a type of Christ... stayed open a long time so anybody could go into it and be safe. Why didn't more go in? Only Noah's family went in and then later his son mocked his dad. Noah had gotten naked and drunk. Was Noah depressed or what? Man, why did he do that. I love how the Bible ain't like a movie, it's doesn't hide the flaws of it's heros, but says it like it happened. Do you think about Lot in the city some? He was a city person who also lived way back in the day. I can empathize. He sure had a hard time trying to even get his relatives to believe the truth about gettin' out of town for safety.

Are you kinda not sure of where to go? Jesus said, "I am the way.." Thee way, not one way among many. All roads do lead to God so to speak at his exacting judgment bar, but only one Way takes you into his heavenly Home. It's via Jesus..

Do you have a couple sock puppets as leaders? Do you live in a land that looks like it needs a military coup because of a well planned forceful foreign takeover and occupying force? I can relate. Am not sayin’ what you should do, ask your Lord. Not sure of all that will happen in the future here with the DC Uniparty and CCP pulling the strings, but one day soon there will be a good military coup that rescues and restores all (the whole hijacked planet), as Christ and his mighty heavenly hosts return to take over here. First we get the Rapture (of his Church) and seven years later, the great coup.

I'm looking forward to the millennium, the Kingdom age with its flawless undefeated King. But until the Sweet By and By we've got to live in the nasty here and now and there are enclaves.

I live in three enclaves of sorts: Texas, Prestonwood church, and more importantly, in Christ. Come to Texas if you can, it's peaceful.. or come along with Texas (other states). But more importantly come to Christ.. come back to Christ today. Walk in Him, in his love and will for you.. yes in Him. Walk in His Spirit and come back to church, to your forever Family, to a spiritually healthy one.. who will also welcome you with open arms. Christ will, his real Church will, and I will.

A Mighty Fortress Is Our God -- great song by reformer, Martin Luther. This hymn inspires us to find forgiveness, strength, solace, protection and provision in Christ. Yes, in Him, and in his love we can enjoy a free salvation amid horrific opposition, amid the dangers toils and snares. Amid the corruption and woes of mortality. While here we truly have a best Friend who will fight for us, One who's in charge of all the armies above. And none come close, or are more powerful than this God with his host of heaven. have you been ripped off lately in small or in ginormous ways? Take courage in the courageous one. There is a rest we can enter and enjoy in our first love. When all hope fails he is still our Living Hope.

Ever heard that false money-grubbing song jingle of Johann Tezel? Ever seen an actual Catholic “indulgence” that had been sold in hopes of gaining God's grace just to get out of future fegefeuer aka purgatory or help others get out? (A place that doesn't exist. Besides God grace has always been free really). On Saturday, October 31, 1517, a 33-year-old theology professor at Wittenberg University walked over to the Castle Church in Wittenberg and nailed a paper of 95 theses to the door, hoping to spark an academic discussion about their contents. In God’s providence and unbeknownst to anyone else that day, it would become a key event in igniting the Reformation. Had he ever done this before—nail a set of theses to the Wittenberg door?

Martin had certainly proposed sets of such for academic debate, which was all he was really doing on that Saturday 10/31/'17. In fact, in September of that same year, Luther had led a debate on scholastic theology where he said many other things of so called radical Bible truth. Let's all be in God's word and that bold.

Ever been to the town of Eisenach Germany? Dunno, Luther may have also posted his Ninety-five Theses on the door of All Saints' Church and other churches in Wittenberg, in accordance with his University custom.

A Mighty Fortress Is Our God" is one of the best-known hymns by the reformer, Martin Luther. I've been to his hometown, dwelling, and church--used to live in Germany. But this hymn inspires us to find strength in God's love and salvation amid the woes of mortality.

1) "A mighty fortress is our God,

a bulwark never failing;

our helper he, amid the flood

of mortal ills prevailing.

For still our ancient foe

does seek to work us woe;

his craft and power are great,

and armed with cruel hate,

on earth is not his equal.

2) Did we in our own strength confide,

our striving would be losing,

were not the right Man on our side,

the Man of God's own choosing.

You ask who that may be?

Christ Jesus, it is he;

Lord Sabaoth his name,

from age to age the same;

and he must win the battle.

3) And though this world, with devils filled,

should threaten to undo us,

we will not fear, for God has willed

his truth to triumph through us.

The prince of darkness grim,

we tremble not for him;

his rage we can endure,

for lo! his doom is sure;

one little word shall fell him.

4) That Word above all earthly powers

no thanks to them abideth;

the Spirit and the gifts are ours

through him who with us sideth.

Let goods and kindred go,

this mortal life also;

the body they may kill:

God's truth abideth still;

his kingdom is forever!" ~ M.L.

For me, not against me is my God who leads me. I was lead and live in a nice enclave called Texas that is now seeking to secede and take some states with em (I hope they can put it off)..and Ken Paxton here along with other leaders are taking steps to fight back against all the junk DC is pushin' our way.

I live in a nice enclave of sorts it's like a big city, my growing healthy Bible teaching church. Wonderful people like-minded, lots of no spiritually compromise types that will stand the ground.

Best of all.. I live in an enclave of sorts, a real and strong refuge called Christ who understands totally and fights for me...for us because of his great love for us. In Christ the solid rock I stand all other ground is sinking sand. Go study the hymns and works of Martin Luther who lived in a Time sort of like ours. An almighty fortress Is Our God, he always wins and he never loses. When we at the hands of wicked men who cheat, have suffered losses here, God makes that backfire in the faces of our enemies. He makes it all work together for our goods like a lovely tapestry (we see the backside mess, the scrambled thread and strings sometimes, but He sees the front and the finish product). I am like his poema. It cuz we love him and are called according to his eternal purposes. See this is still to be found in the Bible, in Romans 8:28-29. world history can be broken down into three parts: generation degeneration regeneration (there was the pristine creation of God here, there was the fall of Adam in the sin -- we've all sinned, but through repentance and faith in Jesus we can be regenerated in our human spirit -- be born again spiritually). Yes, your own life can be as well. Perhaps you've suffered some degeneration lately from the ravages of this world and sin, well you can be regenerated in Christ your Refuge. Even now, He'll accept you. (Luther's home in Eisenach below)

Got a good place to hide away from all the chaos?

“Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee;
Let the water and the blood,
From Thy wounded side which flowed,
Be of sin the double cure,
Save from wrath and make me pure.

Not the labor of my hands
Can fulfill Thy law's demands;
Could my zeal no respite know,
Could my tears forever flow,
All for sin could not atone;
Thou must save, and Thou alone.

Nothing in my hand I bring,
Simply to Thy cross I cling;
Naked, come to Thee for dress;
Helpless, look to Thee for grace;
To Thy fountain Lord I fly;
Wash me, Savior, or I die.

While I draw this fleeting breath,
When my eyes shall close in death,
When I rise to worlds unknown,
And behold Thee on Thy throne,
Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee.” ~  Bob Kauflin

There’s a place for you to rightly fit in. Snug and clean. Live in there..in Him.. sound, safe, secure. Not passive, not fearful, not uninformed, not unproductively. Remember Noah's ark? It was like a cleft, a safe refuge in the storm. The most beautiful thing about it earlier was that the door just stayed open a long time so anyone could just come on in. God's mercy, that rescues sinners like me!Not sure of where to go?

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

”In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” John 1:4

”For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will..” John 5:21,25-29

”Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep..” John 10:7,9

”Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

Christ is full of grace, mercy and glory. All are invited to come to God. WE are  in the age of grace right now, the door is open. Won’t always be. Basically, all roads do lead to God at his very exacting judgment bar, but only one way takes you into his heavenly Home. Jesus. Fish4souls.org

There are trials, attacks and afflictions here at times. Yes, it's not always safe for your physical body, but you are safe in Jesus. I'm leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms. His. I'm in the Cleft. I say lean forward in Him, and go that way with Him leading too! Did you know that 50% of the population lean forward and the other half lean the other way when in danger. I say lean into Him as your Refuge and advance!
