F4S: I was told a lot of stuff that sounds good.

I was told a lot of stuff that sounds good.

They said, Kurt, “Hurt people hurt people, and healed people ..heal people.”

Like that. I think I know what they mean.

Sadly, many hurt people do that.. when they instead can choose to be changed and behave wisely.. constructively, act positively instead of acting sinfully.. very negatively. For some crazy-twisted reason, too many hurt people opt to go do the same. They inherit their father or mother’s life.. for from some other abuser. Too many hurting people decide to go become a part of the problem instead of part of the solution in this fallen world.

They opt to do some destruction and harm deeply hurting their Makers heart.

What does the Bible say about abuse? Is it possible to define abuse biblically? What is truly considered abuse?

How can I overcome the pain of past abuse?

I am a victim of abuse. Why do I feel guilty?

There are some spiritually sick churches out there.. and why is it sinful for a church to cover up abuse?

Are many practices and traditions in Christianity actually pagan in origin?

How can I recognize a dead church?

What is spiritual abuse?

What does the Bible say about healthy church growth?

There are some spiritually healthy local churches out there too. Yay!

How can I recognize a healthy church? What are the signs of a truly healthy church?

What does the Bible say about verbal abuse?

What does the Bible say about child sexual abuse?

Lately, in the Middle East many non-hurting people have been out hurting, raping, kidnapping and killing the innocent.

How should Christians respond to the Arab-Israeli conflict? | GotQuestions.org

What is the cause of all the anti-Semitism in the world? Why are so many people anti-Semitic? Why is there so much hatred of people in this world?

And fortunately, there are some regenerated, healed, restored people who choose differently. They choose life! They prayerfully involve themselves with the Lord closely.. who forgives the best and worst of us, who regenerates too, and who heals those hurting and broken people around us ..who want this. Ask the Lord to bless, keep, and use you to bless others.

What does it mean to choose life (Deuteronomy 30:19)?

Why did God choose me?

Personally, I chose not to put it off — I chose God’s Son and the Christian Life!

I heard it said, “Safe people, shelter others.”

Remember how the Ten Boom family did that in Holland when they were surrounded by vicious Nazi anti-Semitism. Corrie lived to tell about it. She attended my So Cal church in Costa Mesa for a time.

What does it mean that love ..always protects (1 Corinthians 13:7)?

They say to me, “Love always wins.”

Does it.. in what ways?.. what if it’s too late and the person dies without Christ? Who can win him or her? None.

Man, they tragically don’t win zip. What's the Bible say about lovey?

Well, love is a winning attitude and a noble aim — love is all about selfless deeds of kindness that often win people. To win some, we must be winsome.

God indeed is love. His Message is one of boundless agape love, but not all humans want to be won though they indeed want unconditional love.. so God doesn’t force any. He honors our choices. God waits..real long even (Jesus is so longsuffering), but he’ll have none in heaven who didn’t want to be there.” Make your reservation in advance! Now is good!

Sure, Jesus loves us all and He died to save us, but He won’t make us do anything we don’t want to do.

What does it mean that love always trusts (1 Corinthians 13:7)?

What does it mean that love always perseveres (1 Corinthians 13:7)?

How can I really know if "I am in love"?

What does it mean that love always hopes (1 Corinthians 13:7)?

What does it mean that love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8)?

What does it mean that God is love?

Christ has never lied once, He never will. He had some clear statements about eternal punishment and how the unsaved will experience God the Father’s wrath:

• “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.” (Matthew 7:13–14)
• “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’” (
Matthew 7:22–23)
• “And you, Capernaum, will not be exalted to heaven, will you? You will descend to Hades; for if the miracles had occurred in Sodom which occurred in you, it would have remained to this day” (
Matthew 11:23)
• “So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness” (
Matthew 13:40–41)
• “So it will be at the end of the age; the angels will come forth and take out the wicked from among the righteous, and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (
Matthew 13:49–50)
• “Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth’” (
Matthew 22:13)
• “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you travel around on sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves” (
Matthew 23:15)
• “You serpents, you brood of vipers, how will you escape the sentence of hell?” (
Matthew 23:33)
• “Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels” (
Matthew 25:41)
• “These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life” (
Matthew 25:46)
• “If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life crippled, than, having your two hands, to go into hell, into the unquenchable fire” (
Mark 9:43)
• “But I will warn you whom to fear: fear the One who, after He has killed, has authority to cast into hell; yes, I tell you, fear Him!” (
Luke 12:5)
• “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him” (
John 3:36)
• “Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice, and will come forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment.” (
John 5:28–29)
• “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will not be hurt by the second death’” (
Revelation 2:11)

See Revelation 2:11 where Jesus is speaking of a “second death.” This term is used three other times in the inspired book of Revelation to speak of the horrific fate of those who are unbelievers (that they never needed to experience):

• “Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years” (Revelation 20:6)
• “Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death” (
Revelation 20:14)
• “But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death” (
Revelation 21:8).

What is ultra-universalism? How is ultra-universalism distinct from other forms of universalism? Is ultra-universalism biblical?

What does it mean to let love be without hypocrisy (Romans 12:9)?

What does it mean to walk in love (Ephesians 5:2)?

Is loving God an emotion, a feeling, or a decision?

What is universalism?

What does it mean that while we were still sinners in love, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8)?

I want to know what God in the Bible has to say about real love!

What is ultimate reconciliation?

Are there different types of love mentioned in God’s Word? Yep.

What does it mean to not love in words or tongue but in deed and in truth (1 John 3:18)?

What is the gospel of inclusion? If Jesus died for the sins of the entire world, does that mean that everyone in the world is saved?

He who lovingly “wins souls is wise” (Proverbs 11:30)..what does that mean?

What does it mean that we should think on whatever is lovely (Philippians 4:8)?

“Free spirits, in love go free others.” Is that you? Good. Go tell. God can free all kinds of people through us as we care and share ..the truth.

What even is.. truth?

What does it mean that “the truth will set you free” (John 8:32)? How does the truth set us free? To what ‘truth’ is John 8:32 referring?

You will know the truth and be freed. What does that mean in John 8:32?

What are some Bible verses about truth?

What did Jesus mean when He said, “I am the Light of the World” (John 8:12)?

What are some Bible verses about freedom?

“Enlightened people (via pure biblical illumination), illuminate others with pure light.”

What does it mean that God is light?

Why did God say, “Let there be light,” during creation?

What is the marvelous light in 1 Peter 2:9? What does it mean to be called out of darkness into His marvelous light?

What is spiritual darkness?

What does it mean that he who hates his brother walks in darkness (1 John 2:11)?

“In Him (Jesus) was life, and the life was the light of men” (John 1:4).. sup with that?

What does it mean that the light shines in the darkness (John 1:5)?

So arise and shine!

"No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father." nlt

Decide and shine His light of love on all who may cross your path in life — what you think, say, and do matters. You and your motives matter as well. Fish4souls.org

"Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Matthew 5:13-16 kjv

What’s that look like to “let your light shine before others” (Matthew 5:16)?
