From the moment you were born you've been on a quest -- you've been searching. You've been looking for God, and God has been searching for you. Perhaps you thought a possession would do it for ya, or a certain job, or a nice house, or a fast car, or a passionate relationship, or perhaps you thought a religion would do it. Hey Sport, you've been lookin' for God.

And He's been compassionately looking for you too (knowin' exactly where you are.. and knowin' all you've been through).

You've been looking for a relationship with the Lord (maybe unknowingly searching). Yes, a lasting love and home of love with unending life.

Many people have been lookin’ for heaven on earth. True.

They have a longing inside for heaven... to have that nagging empty void inside ..totally filled.

They have a longing for Home.. I'm talking about for heaven where they can be happy and really feel at home.

Heaven is beyond words. The Bible says that God has set eternity in our hearts. Have you been homesick for heaven lately?

God makes all things new. No more old, painful, diseased or lame!

God is alive and is madly in love with you. Yup, loves you so much He just can’t take His eyes off of ya! He loved you all the way to Calvary’s cross and a barrowed tomb. Still loves you today as much as He loves His own sinless Son, Jesus

“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.“ John 3:14-18

Heaven is beyond words to describe. Did you know that Heaven is mentioned 532 times in the Bible, and more than 10% of those mentions are in Revelation. It's true. Did you know God loves new too! He said, “Behold, I make all things new.” After the millennial reign of Christ, we enter into “eternal timelessness.

In this New Earth, we will have a new city. The New Earth and New Jerusalem are prepared places for prepared people. Jerusalem is the nerve center of the world geographically. The salvation center of the world spiritually. The storm center of the world prophetically.

  • Jerusalem is the city of the past.
  • Jerusalem is the city of the present.
  • Jerusalem is the city of the future.

Home in Heaven will come down to earth! There’ll be a rapture up into the 3rd heaven (beyond the blue sky and 2nd one.. space). There is real place called Heaven -- it’s a place of real love where you and I will feel right at home. More so than here even. Anywhere here on earth. No more awkward, or pain, or tears of sorrow. Heaven will come down to earth and both will become one and we can be there with Jesus. You were meant to have an unending relationship with God the Father through Him. fish4souls.org .. Photo by Nathan Fertig

Prayerfully meditate upon...

Revelation 21 Revelation 21:1–6 2 Corinthians 12:4 Revelation 21:5 Zechariah 12:2–3 Revelation 21:6 Ecclesiastes 3:15 1 Corinthians 15:52–54 Psalm 90:4 Galatians 4:4 2 Peter 3:9 Revelation 21:1 Revelation 21:3 1 John 3:2 Revelation 21:2 John 14:2–3 1 Corinthians 2:9

Jesus said no man having put his hand to the plow and looking back is fit for the kingdom of heaven. But that doesn’t mean we must be bored or passive..or that there is always trials everyday, or suffering, or hard things to overcome.

We want to walk with our Lord where He leads us. Being in the will of God is a blessing -- it’s the best sport for each of us even while working hard. Good idea -- advance with Him, no returning to live for self as Lord or for this corrupt world-system.

So we can’t look back, why do it. That’d be lame.

God's not been caught off guard by C19. Nope! He's working.

God hasn’t fallen off His throne.  He hasn’t lost any of His Sovereignty during this COVID-19 lockdown.  He ain’t surprised.  Therefore, there’s hope for you.

Due to that escalation of the pandemic and all, you know there’s a tremendous amount of uncertainty, causing panic, anxiety, some lack, and stress. The world is at home and online. Many are now feeling bored and depressed, but we believers can be there for people to sow seeds of hope, to pray, to answer some questions they are asking, and to even win some people to Christ. Yes, globally win people.
Seems like gas prices are at an all-time low. Schools, sporting events, concerts, graduations, funerals (went to one for my roommate Bill from our college days last week..online), and weddings have been cancelled or postponed. Church services have moved from meeting in-person to virtual live-streaming. Some now meet in their cars. Only so called essential businesses remain open, and all that’s sent unemployment rates skyrocketing. You know.
Everywhere you look in the city or in rural settings, faces are covered in masks, and hands are in gloves. What’ll the new normal look like?

“The only hope for this or any other society is to hear the Word of the Lord and obey.” ~ John MacArthur
“Outside of the cross of Jesus Christ, there is no hope in this world. That cross and resurrection at the core of the Gospel is the only hope for humanity. Wherever you go, ask God for wisdom on how to get that Gospel in, even in the toughest situations of life.” Ravi Zacharias

As the days at home in isolation increase, as small minded politicians overreach for more control over the people, so does the increase of need for true hope. It’s interesting how the Lord is using the pandemic to accomplish His purposes through His Church and tactful online evangelism.

Here’s what’s so cool.. is Global Media Outreach is on pace to clearly Present The Gospel To The 2 Billionth Person Online! Yep Two Bil -- glory to Jesus!

There is a man named Jose in Indonesia. A few weeks after accepting Jesus as his Savior, he sent in a message for his Online Missionary saying, “Thank you for your email and the word of Jesus you are bringing to my life. As the world is going through this COVID-19 crisis, we are isolated in our home, and I want to take advantage of this quarantine and bring spiritual changes to my life and to my family.”
Man, what a story -- such a great testimony! All glory goes to God! Jose turned, trusted, yes accepted Christ. He’s already in the Bible wanting to learn, and to grow spiritually in order to help lead his family to Jesus and in the ways of the Lord.

Most of us have never experienced anything like the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to the fear of this deadly disease, families are now taxed with job loss, financial stressors, homeschooling, and countless cancelled plans. Days run together and life feels surreal. Who even keeps track of the days now? But, this isolation has caused a surge in people searching the internet and social media for answers.

“Without Christ there is no hope.” ~ Charles Spurgeon
"Jesus gives us hope because He keeps us company, has a vision and knows the way we should go." ~ Max Lucado
“The Spirit of God first imparts love; he next inspires hope, and then gives liberty..” ~ Dwight L. Moody

This one God Who freely Forgives, can Heal, Fix, Restore and Redeem!

Been reading some in the news these days. Seen some of it that’s true; likely some of it is not. Gobs of fake news these days.
I'm trying not to spend too much time reading those articles because it can distract me from what I need to do and how I need to respond. We’ve got bigger fish to fry so to speak. Not really fry.. I’d just rather share the simple Gospel than try to reform sinners and saints (that’d be an exercise in futility).
There’s a surety in God's Word, I'm going to focus on the list of things He does each day for us.
People around the world now are seeking viable answers like never before in record numbers. We've been seeing an increase in the number of “Gospel Visits” through our GMO ministry. Perhaps you desire to make a difference in eternity. Over the past week, there’s been many days of over 500K visits per day. My SoCal pastor normally has about 100 people respond when he presents a clear Gospel invitation, but he’s had over a million people watch his Online-only Sunday service and has seen over 40,000 people click the button to make a profession of faith in just four weeks.

I've played a small part. Feel blessed! Since May 21 in 2013 I’ve had the joy and privilege of leading a team of thirteen balanced, spiritually healthy GMO missionaries who are constantly reaching out to needy people. God works.. and we then brag on the Lord who saves!

For a view of what GMO missionaries are doing today, yes, of what's happening each day, just go to this site www.witnesstoall.com

God can use you too. He delights to bless and use people. As the Lord leads, get involved. These numbers reset each day at Midnight CDT and now more than ever people are searching for the truth, for answers, and for hope. You can know the Lord! And witnessing is a calling for all believers to be and do. I mean across the sea, or across the campus or street. Pray about it, God can use you as an online missionary to help and win people

When we step out something happens. When we all step out that’s like a revolution!

Dare ya if I may: Give thanks. Focus on Christ and the list of things He daily does for us (in Psalm 103)

“Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits-- who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel: The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust. As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. But from everlasting to everlasting the LORD's love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children--with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts. The LORD has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all. Praise the LORD, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word. Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will. Praise the LORD, all his works everywhere in his dominion. Praise the LORD, O my soul.” "You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word." Psalm 119:114
"I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope." Psalm 130:5

"Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God." Psalm 42:11 Facebook.com/shareJesus

Harvest at and from home! We each can reap with love and joy. Let the Spirit of truth lead you -- catch people alive for God! Why waste time at home on the sofa.. when we can redeem the time!

We hope you are well and blessed today. Need some encouragement and prayer?
Looks like my wife goes back to work on Monday. Been musing on soil cultivating, the planting of seeds of truth, the nurturing, the watering of and the reaping with JOY and LOVE. Thinking 'bout a potential harvest at and from home!
The Bible says, "The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing that they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name. Every day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they did not stop teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ."
"With one accord they continued to meet daily in the temple courts and to break bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." (See Acts 2:46-47, 5:41-42)
From Dana Point on the coast, I personally really love fish and people even more. To me fishing in the Bible is more about wisely goin' to where the fish are hanging out (ie, in mountain streams, crystal clear lakes, or in the wide open seas), the good bait choices, effective tool-use (hooks, line, boats, nets, scuba tanks etc), and about CATCHING THEM ALIVE.
Of course we do that for Jesus who loved to fish! He loves us all! But proper shepherding of the flock (You know Jesus is the Chief Shepherd) is about the growth of the flock -- the nurturing, new births, the caring for, the consistently tending to, diligence, the genuinely loving and proper feeding for health (ie, from the milk of the word, green pastures.. instead of that religiously fleecing of the flock as the greedy false teachers often love to do. Yes individually, like for each li'l lamb, sheep first). Me thinks all this needs clarity of vision, wisdom, a smart plan, real passion. Let the Spirit lead you -- He loves us going fishing too. We have lots of e-tools today.
Perhaps, for full-nets God'll help you gather, train a team of fishers like our Lord Jesus did. Ask Him to use and keep you. It's work. Takes some concentration. Can also be lots for fun! Let's go fish4souls.org
You recall, "As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. 'Come, follow Me,' Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” Matt. 4:18-19
"As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. 'Come, follow Me,' Jesus said, 'and I will make you fishers of men.' And at once they left their nets and followed Him." Mrk. 1:16-18. Let the Spirit guide you. Fish both far, near and from home. Being boring, bored or lonely are personal choices. No need to be all lonely or bored while alone at home. Nope.
Q. Do you feel like waiting for someone to reach out to you at home? I say prayerfully initiate -- God did that, the Father sent Jesus. Christ did that He came to us. We love because He first loved us.
Call or write a growing Christian believer today. Or in love just reach out to someone who needs to believe ..so that they too can begin to enjoy such rich fellowship. The Bible says...
- God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” ~ 1 Corinthians 1:9
- “Make it a rule, and pray to God to help you to keep it, never, if possible, to lie down at night without being able to say: “I have made one human being at least a little wiser, or a little happier, or at least a little better this day.”  ~ Charles Kingsley
- “Aloneness can lead to loneliness. God’s preventative for loneliness is intimacy – meaningful, open, sharing relationships with one another. In Christ we have the capacity for the fulfilling sense of belonging which comes from intimate fellowship with God and with other believers.”  ~ Neil T. Anderson
- “If you are having difficulty loving or relating to an individual, take him to God. Bother the Lord with this person. Don’t you be bothered with him – leave him at the throne.”  ~ Chuck Swindoll
- “Unity is necessary to the outpouring of the Spirit of God. If you have 120 volts of electricity coming into your house but you have broken wiring, you may turn on the switch, but nothing works – no lights come on, the stove doesn’t warm, the radio doesn’t turn on. Why? Because you have broken wiring. The power is ready to do its work…, but where there is broken wiring, there is no power. Unity is necessary among the children of God if we are going to know the flow of power…to see God do His wonders.”  ~ A. W. Tozer
- “Faith tolerates a moderate love of ones fellow man no more than it tolerates a moderate love between God and man.”  ~ John McKenzie- “If in fellowship of service I seek to attach a friend to myself, so that others are caused to feel unwanted; if my friendships do not draw others deeper in, but are ungenerous (i.e., to myself, for myself), then I know nothing of Calvary love.”  ~ Amy Carmichael
- “Our love to God is measured by our everyday fellowship with others and the love it displays.”  ~ Andrew Murray
- “I want the whole Christ for my Saviour, the whole Bible for my book, the whole Church for my fellowship, and the whole world for my mission field.”  ~ John Wesley
- “Human fellowship can go to great lengths, but not all the way. Fellowship with God can go to all lengths.” ~ Oswald Chambers
- “Fellowship means among other things that we are ready to receive of Christ from others. Other believers minister Christ to me, and I am ready to receive.”  ~ Watchman Nee
- “Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes! It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life forevermore.” Psalms 133:1-3
Go rural or.. Urbaane.tumblr.com ..to win people as well.
The early Christian church in Acts (our model church) tactfully, prayerfully met and won people by the power of the Spirit and Word.. both in the temple and from house to house. So wanna see us get back to God's principles for His results. Want to get back to work as well for fellowship-sake and for winning people. I really want to see the church get back to church soon. 'Til then lets plant, reap, and fish! Thanks Jay for this meme.
