Sup with Autodidacticism? That was what Charlie Kirk was about. He was a self taught learner and you can be too.

"I sat alone beneath the stars,
My Bible open wide;
No teacher there but God Himself,
His Spirit was my guide.

No classroom walls, no formal-learning halls,
Just whispers from above;
The truest school of all the saints
Is tutored directly by His love."

Over the years, we heard Charlie teach us to learn away from all the jacked-up bias in a quiet time. Not for just knowing (having a swelled head), but on purpose and for a great purpose. The greatest of them all!

Yesterday, Charlie's widow Erika Kirk (who loves the truth as well) received the Presidential Medal of Freedom on behalf of Charlie. It's cuz both have been learners of what's really so.. because both have been wise doers of it too.

Are you blessed to see that merely self-terminate upon you.. or blessed to become a blessing like they have been for so many?

May I challenge you to be that way, to live red-hot-spiritually like the Kirks.

Charlie worked hard to learn the truth, yet apart from formal education, as a genuine autodidact. Then he lived it and pushed back against the corrupt, politicized credential educational system, which he rightfully called a rip-off scam.

Charlie was first spiritual and then political (both, not spiritually compromising). The whole world has seen how he leaned into his relationship with Jesus Christ, the One who taught him in the quiet. He leaned strongly on things far more dangerous to those on the Left, too: real facts, hard data, and critical non-clonely-thinking.

Aristotle encouraged that all men would seek to know what's so (real and true).

In his heart, Charlie believed that college students and other young adults today, deep down, longed to know and fully understand things with the best type of wisdom. Isn't it time for you and me to get taught by the best Teacher?

Like the Bereans, I say we study and read the great old writings like those from Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Aquinas, and Augustine. I say we start with the greatest of old Books in the home and then in the schools again -- the Bible.

Kids in college should indeed be there to understand the Scriptures (for it's real history), and in the light of holy writ, then wrestle with ancient philosophy to become a well-rounded US citizen. Charlie taught this!

All that is good ("all the councils of God" ), true, noble, and beautiful, even studying religious freedom in the United States. Study the Constitution -- it's unlike anything else. Charlie made all ages want to give it a go here, along with the framers, and American founders. Over the years, Charlie rightly made us want to love this country (that not even the enemies of this Land want to leave.

Factoid: Divinely inspired Freedom cannot coexist without godly virtue -- he often spoke about morality, family, and pure virtue! You cannot have a free Society if you do not have a society that values the God of the Bible. Charlie loved the Lord most, and he loved to learn as an autodidact — a self-taught man, taught from the Son of Man first.

Jesus said, "Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light" Matthew 11:29-30

- Psalm 32:8: "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you".
- Psalm 25:4-5: The psalmist asks God to "Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me".
- Proverbs 1:7: This verse states that "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction".
- Isaiah 2:3: This prophecy speaks of a time when people will go to the temple of the God of Jacob and "He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths".
- Jeremiah 31:33-34: This passage prophesies a new covenant where God's law will be within people and "they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest".

Hey, You've Got This! You Can Be A Self-Taught Learner While Being Taught By The God Of The Bible

That's not a stretch to say that. The Lord totally delights in His kids who sit at His feet, learning not from people first.. not from man’s institutions first, but from the gentle whispers of His Spirit. These self-taught learners were not rebels against Authority or wisdom — they were lovers of Truth, whose hearts became classrooms of old revelation. You and I don't need any new revelation..illumination, sure. If it's new it ain't true, if it's true it ain't new.

God is NOT giving new revelation(s) today:

• The canon of Scripture is closed all the way; it's completed, done. Revelation 22:18 warns against adding to the words of the prophecy in the Bible.

• Jesus is the final and complete revelation of God. Hebrews 1:2 makes it clear that God has spoken definitively through His Son.

• The apostles were uniquely chosen to lay the foundation of the church. Ephesians 2:20 says the church is “built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.” We don’t believe that, 2,000 years later, God is still laying the foundation.

• New revelation would imply that Scripture is insufficient. But 2 Timothy 3:17 says Scripture equips us for every good work.

• Modern claims of revelation often contradict Scripture. God does not contradict Himself (Numbers 23:19).

This does not mean that God is silent today. He still loves you! He still speaks to us through His Word, the Bible, and the Holy Spirit helps us understand and wisely apply it (too many foolishly apply it--you've known some). God is working. He is active and present in the lives of His children, He is not giving out new revelation(s) today in the form of new Scripture or authoritative (ie, verbal or ex cathedra) messages equal to the Bible. The Bible is complete, sufficient, and final. Our responsibility is not to seek new revelation, but to faithfully study, obey, and proclaim the revelation God has already given.

Apollos – A passionate autodidact who learned more perfectly the way of the Lord through personal study and godly correction (Acts 18:24–26).

“He who ceases to be a student ceases to be a servant.” — Prof. Howard Hendricks (what a privilege to attend Swidoll's Frisco church with his hero. Small h.)

Hey, I won't pedestalize Charlie (he wouldn't want that. He only did that by exalting Jesus), but Charlie had a near encyclopedic memory that he put to use for seed planting and reaping. Didn't you for years enjoy seeing him pull statistics in a sec, and history, or policy details right out of thin air.. it seemed. Then he'd use them in real time against his opponent-debaters (not to hurt any, but to help people).

That’s why so many determined hard hearts hated to debate him, but they kept going up front to do just that.. dialoge. Man, so many were so ill-equipped with partial truths and lies from their professors.

I'm not saying that Charlie merely parroted talking points. He knew this stuff deep in his heart and actually lived accordingly with an upbeat attitude.

Hey, Charlie's primary Hero and heroes in the Bible can be excellent examples for you as well! Dig in.

"Remind the believers of these things, charging them before God to avoid quarreling over words, which succeeds only in leading the listeners to ruin. Make every effort to present yourself approved to God, an unashamed workman who accurately handles the word of truth. But avoid irreverent, empty chatter, which will only lead to more ungodliness." 2 Timothy 2:15

Be encouraged to effectively study the Scriptures on your own. I mean if you are not led to go pay for formal theological seminary training (God and His specific will for you matters). You can learn by a consistent, deliberate process of observation, interpretation, waiting in prayer, and wise application.

Yes, humbly, start with candid prayer. Recognizing your dependence on God's guidance is the most crucial part of personal Bible study. Ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom and to illuminate what God wants you to grasp and clearly understand.

Focus on Jesus. Zero in on understanding God and His holy nature (yes, the illuminating power of the Holy Spirit is key), not just on personal application alone. While wisely applying Scripture to your life is a top goal, it is important to first focus on what the text reveals about God's character and purposes. Your relationship with Him who is truth matters most!

Doing this prevents you from simply seeking to confirm what you already believe.

Read all around in the passage context. A single verse alone should never be read in isolation and made into a doctrine. That's how cults start.

Always consider its simple meaning in the context of the surrounding verses, the chapter, the book, and the entire Bible. Understanding the historical and cultural context of the original readers is also a key.

You and I really don't need more religion; from the inside, we need God to rule without rival. Be willing to spend time alone and throughout your whole day in contact with Christ. He is SO WONDERFUL. He is your first-love--know Him well!

Deep biblical insight doesn't always just pop up from some quick, superficial reading. Diligence, concentration, and some patience in wrestling with the text can be very rewarding.

"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." Hebrews 11:6 nkjv

Q: Historically, who were God’s effective teachers? 1.) The Holy Spirit. 2.) They were His most humble, diligent, righteous students — learning in caves, deserts, prisons, and out in the fields.

I say, if God calls you to witness (that's for all believers), teach, preach, then guess what.. He also calls you to pray and study the Bible.

“The unfolding of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.” — Psalm 119:130

“When God teaches a man, he learns more on his knees than in ten thousand books.” (sm b) — Charles Spurgeon

Jesus said, "It is written in the prophets, 'And they shall all be taught by God'". John 6:45

"And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children." Isaiah 54:13

Q: So how does God teach truth to believers today? He does that directly through the indwelling Holy Spirit. We all need forgiveness. Don't let sin reign or Him remain outside of you. The Bible says, "But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him".

Homiletics – is that something good?

What does the Bible say about altar calls? Are altar calls biblical?

What is biblical hermeneutics?

What is an effective altar call?

What is a good process for preparing a sermon?

What is homiletics?

How can I understand the Bible?

What is the law of first mention?

What is good biblical exegesis?

How can we know what parts of the Bible apply to us today?

Jesus equips the called.

Yep, instead of calling those already totally equipped. It's powerful to simply read the Scriptures and get well-equipped. Remember back in the day, during a temple repair time? The high priest Hilkiah found the Book of the Law. It had been lost for years! The Book was read, and then what happened?

King Josiah was so impacted inside! He was SO struck by God's words that he tore his clothes in sorrow and fear, realizing how far the people had strayed away from God's commands. There is great profit in simply reading the Scriptures. The reading there resulted in revival!

King Josiah called the people all together, then shared God's law with them, and this led them in a movement to tear down all the idols and altars to false gods throughout the whole land.

The repentant people joined in a covenant with God, and these reforms from Josiah led to a significant turning point in the history of the kingdom of Judah.

Do you have a hardened heart or a soft heart today? When you read the "Book of the Law," is your heart also moved to repentance? It should.
We don't merely study God's word to know more. We do this so that we can be changed inside and live obediently, thus glorifying the Lord.
This revival is described in 2 Kings 22-23 and 2 Chronicles 34-35. Their repenting turned into a healthy destruction of idols—sparking a widespread return to acceptable worship of God.

After studying.. the lifelong learner (Charlie), used his Socratic Method in public. Instead of just lecturing young folks or talking down to them, he always showed respect while asking them questions.

He forced students across the USA to think on their own--to walk through their own logic step by step. Then Charlie exposed the contradictions gently, not by screaming at them, but by calmly letting them tie themselves into knots with their own words. Was there some peer pressure there to debate well for them?
I'm not sure what they were feeling, but that’s real debate that happened. That’s real education outside that didn't happen so much inside the walls.

Charlie wasn't there to impress anyone. He was there to please the Lord and plant some seeds. He wasn’t there to “own” people, like for the sake of a viral clip — he showed them that thinking critically with earnestness is the only way to truth. That's why the Left really feared him. With these words, I simply want to challenge you here to honestly study on your own, and get closer to the Lord as Charlie did. Your life can also make an impact for the next generation.

Like Mr. Kirk did, you too can effectively learn in your quiet time. Yes, largely on your own with the same Book from the Holy Spirit leading you, Christian. I mean outside of and beyond formal education (but not outside of studying truth) — it's called being an autodidact.

  • Autodidacticism (that's the informal process or practice of being self-taught, self-educated)

Abraham Lincoln once remarked, “Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.” Whether or not he had James 3:13 in mind, his words carry the scent of Scripture: “Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.”

Understanding God’s ways isn’t a casual discovery—it’s a sacred pursuit. It comes through prayer, meditation on His Word, and the refining fires of experience. As Charles Spurgeon said, “Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know much and are all the greater fools for it. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom.”

Scripture reminds us that this journey is lifelong. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding” (Proverbs 9:10). When God grants you insight, it’s natural to want to pass it on—especially to those closest to you. But knowing what to say is only half the lesson; knowing when and how to say it is the other half.

James makes it SO plain: wisdom is proven in humility and godly living, not in eloquent speech. A. W. Tozer wrote, “Humility is not a grace that can be learned in the classroom; it must be learned in the closet, in the secret place where we meet God.” Without humility, even true wisdom can sound like arrogance.

Older saints often feel the pull to share “how it used to be,” but hearts are rarely softened by lectures—they’re softened by love. Know the word well and live it.. and then make the word well known. Francis of Assisi put it, “Preach the Gospel at all times, and when necessary, use words.”

So before you speak, bow your heart low. Listen deeply. When you listen, you learn—not just facts, but souls. You begin to understand what pain shaped their responses, what hope keeps them holding on, what fears keep them guarded.

When humility rules your heart, your words will carry heaven’s weight. You’ll speak not to impress but to bless; not to be heard, but to help. As Proverbs 16:21 says, “The wise in heart are called discerning, and gracious words promote instruction.”

In the end, wisdom that listens before it speaks, that serves before it teaches, and that loves before it leads—that is the kind that reflects Christ Himself, “in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:3).

If you haven't already, start with this old Book -- the Bible

  • Be diligent: Apply consistent effort and industry to your study of the scriptures.
  • Use proper hermeneutics: This refers to the principles of correct biblical interpretation to ensure you are understanding the text properly.
  • Follow the example of other faithful believers: The apostle Paul is instructing Timothy, and the principle extends to all believers today who follow Christ.
  • Pray through, allowing the Holy Spirit to assist: Yes, indeed. The Holy Spirit of God loves you, and He comes alongside if ya will to help believers in this process.
What Are Some Benefits?
  • Spiritual growth in the Word: It helps believers mature in their faith, grow closer to God, and become more Christ-like.
  • Discernment from the Spirit: It equips believers to distinguish truth from error and false teachings.
  • Effective horizontal ministry: This type of study prepares you and I to be better witnesses and "workmen" for God in the chaotic world.

"If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom.” James 3:13

You and I want soft-compassionate-hearts, not hard-caloused-hearts, keen minds, consistency in our we enjoy the Lord and victory. We want God's free grace daily to serve him well.. not spiritually sick. Now compile an exhaustive list of great Christian quotes, Bible verses on gaining understanding and truthful insight acquisition for the purpose of better knowing and following God

Prayerfully beself-taught—an autodidact—actually fits well with the biblical theme of seeking wisdom directly from God, not merely through man-made systems. Here are a few fitting verses and quotes:

self-taught—an autodidact—actually fits well with the biblical theme of seeking wisdom directly from God, not merely through man-made systems. Here are a few fitting verses and quotes:

* God Has Said On This:

  • James 1:5 – “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”

  • Proverbs 2:6 – “For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.”

  • Psalm 119:99–100 – “I have more understanding than all my teachers, for Your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the aged, because I have kept Your precepts.”

  • John 14:26 – “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things…”

* What Have Other Christians Said About This Stuff:

  • “Education without the Bible is useless.” — Noah Webster

  • “The man who does not read has no advantage over the man who cannot read.” — Mark Twain, often used by Christian educators to stress lifelong learning.

  • “The Bible was not given for our information but for our transformation.” — D.L. Moody

  • “He who is taught by God cannot be misled by men.” — A.W. Tozer

  • “The true university of these days is a collection of books.” — Thomas Carlyle

In a biblical sense, the autodidact who studies under the guidance of the Holy Spirit becomes, as Isaiah 54:13 says, “taught by the Lord.”

Would you like me to reframe this as a short devotional reflection you could share or teach from?

Here are 5 Points To Process Truth Inside

  • Main Source: Let it be God, for he is the giver of life and wisdom (Proverbs 2:6; James 1:5).

  • Means: Scripture and the Holy Spirit are primary teachers (John 14:26; Hebrews 4:12).

  • Practice: Godly wisdom is not only information but obedience and application (Matthew 7:24–27; James 3:13–18).

  • Posture: Humilty in the holy fear of the Lord + honesty = the beginning of knowledge (Proverbs 1:7; Psalm 111:10).

  • Goal: A soft heart of meekness. Knowledge rightly acquired leads to transformation and worship (Romans 11:33–36; D.L. Moody quote).

* Kurt, Got Any Take-Away Thoughts?

Go for Jesus, get right with the Father through the Son then you'll get everything else you need. True understanding is not merely academic—it’s spiritual and relational.
It begins with the Lord, the holy fear of God in humility. It can grow in us through obedience to God's Word, and it matures in love.

God gives it to those whose hearts are soft enough to listen well, and surrendered enough to follow His Son.

“Truth stands the test of time; lies are soon exposed.” Proverbs 12:19

Forty million Evangelical Christians did not vote last time in the Presidential election. This must change!

I do understand that both candidates are flawed, but this passivity is NOT spiritual, NOT good, and is totally stupid.

You don't want to live as a hypocrite do you?

I am excited about Christ and won't pedestalize any mere human. I say people get ready, Jesus is coming soon to take us home.

It's Election Day in the USA!

Good morning, Lord. Thank you for the rain and a new day. This is the best time of the entire year -- we love it! I pray that you would make it super easy by your GRACE for Americans to PRAY for America. So many have been told lies that make them feel bad and those Media lies are often hard to tell. I pray for Your protection on both sides of people going to vote today and that Your perfect will be done because You see the future and know what is best for Americans. I pray that fellow believers in this Land will wake up and go vote for the sanctity of life and protection for citizens.. because every American (no matter if they are Libertarian Republican or Democrat or non-voting) with a heartbeat has GREAT VALUE and is NOT garbage. Tkx. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Matthew 18:20 "Where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there among them."

Isaiah 43:4: "You are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you"

Ephesians 1:4: "He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love"

Ephesians 1:5: "You are valuable because of what you cost. As one loved by God, you have also been chosen by God for “adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself”"

Until Jesus comes for us, let's pray, be a witness, work together, go tell (the gospel) and go vote. Make sure it all happens right.

I am more concerned with who will be in God's house and Kingdom than who will be in the White House, but that doesn't mean I am to make my brain cease to the hurt of the USA!

The privilege and responsibility of voting as a Christian isn’t a decision about civic duty alone; it’s a choice that echoes in both the hearts of our nation's workers and in the soul of each real believer.

Because voting is my important privilege, it is also my important responsibility to prepare for and go address.

In terms of politics and leadership here, there is clear evidence in Scripture that God HAS NOT BEEN PLEASED with our choices of leadership at times (See Hosea 8:4 and the context).

The evidence of evil and sin’s grip on this fallen world is everywhere. You know evil people are here more than ever! Much of the suffering here on earth is because of godless leadership that we've allowed into top position of office. We talk about fighting the good fight of faith, but have we? (I'm not talking about against flesh and blood here, but against the increased corruption that keeps hurting flesh and blood kinda folks here. Real people).

"When the righteous triumph, there is great glory and celebration; but when the wicked rise [to prominence], men hide themselves." Proverbs 28:12 amp

Scripture gives Christians instructions to live vigilantly, to obey legitimate authority short of sinning (unless it contradicts the Lord’s Bible commands. Acts 5:27-29; Romans 13:1-7).

As born-again Christians, we ought to work diligently to choose leaders who will be themselves led by our Creator (1 Samuel 12:13-25). Candidates or proposals that violate the Bible’s commands for life, family, marriage, or faith should never be supported (Proverbs 14:34). With God's help me can defeat them.

We don't war against people, but we can still fight against the evil!

Scripture tells us that God has NOT always approved of the leaders believers have chosen or allowed in.

Our choices to pray, to vote, and of who we allow to win in our elections DO matter profoundly, and the increased weight of sin’s grip on this world is unmistakable in the community where we love. Evil people want to take over Texas like never before!

Godless leadership often brings suffering to people -- we've seen it happen here - highlighting the immense responsibility we hold in selecting leaders who will influence society’s moral compass. Election integrity is worth fighting for--it's good to see an army come out.. each to be a watchman or woman.

God’s word instructs us to show respect to delegated authorities, yet with a clear caveat: we must obey authority only when it aligns with His Bible commands (in different translations study Acts 5:27-29; Romans 13:1-7, Hosea 8:4, Proverbs 28:12, 1 Samuel 12:13-25).

What does all this call for? Righteous discernment, contending for the faith, and faithfulness in following Jesus while doing our civic duty because of our real responsibilities.

When we cast our votes, we are making a statement not only about policy but about what we value. As real Christians, we are urged to seek out leaders who desire to be led by our Creator enough to take action in that way (1 Samuel 12:13-25). Supporting leaders or policies that contradict God’s teachings on the sanctity of life, on what God calls a family, calls a marriage, or calls faith.. these are areas we must agree with Him about.

Choosing leaders who uphold these good values is more than a preference—it is a commitment to align ourselves and our actions with God’s desires for justice, for mercy, and for righteousness in this world.

Candidates or proposals that violate the Bible’s commands should never be supported -- you must work together to properly defeat them.

The Bible says, "First of all, then, I urge that petitions (specific requests), prayers, intercessions (prayers for others) and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all people, for kings and all who are in [positions of] high authority, so that we may live a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This [kind of praying] is good and acceptable and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who wishes all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge and recognition of the [divine] truth." 1 Timothy 2:1-4 amp

"Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God [granted by His permission and sanction], and those which exist have been put in place by God. Therefore whoever resists [governmental] authority resists the ordinance of God. And those who have resisted it will bring judgment (civil penalty) on themselves. For [civil] authorities are not a source of fear for [people of] good behavior, but for [those who do] evil. Do you want to be unafraid of authority? Do what is good and you will receive approval and commendation. For he is God’s servant to you for good. But if you do wrong, [you should] be afraid; for he does not carry the [executioner’s] sword for nothing. He is God’s servant, an avenger who brings punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be subject [to civil authorities], not only to escape the punishment [that comes with wrongdoing], but also as a matter of principle [knowing what is right before God]. For this same reason you pay taxes, for civil authorities are God’s servants, devoting themselves to governance. Pay to all what is due: tax to whom tax is due, customs to whom customs, respect to whom respect, honor to whom honor." Romans 13:1-7 amp

It's true that millions of Evangelical Christians opted out of voting—what a staggering silence from those who should speak up in this land where our voices DO matter.. not only to our society but, more importantly, to God.

Christians voting matters to God the King! They tell me I don't have a King in this Land, but I do have a King here who will judge!

What is the kingdom of God? I pray God will help us make it a bit more like that here. They Kingdom come -- His millenium will soon arrive, but until live the life and go vote.

Should a Christian be opposed to globalization?

Does the Bible prophesy of a one-world government?

How should a Christian view the Great Reset by the Globalists and World Economic Elites?

What are the keys of the Kingdom?

Can Globalist Elites who keep funding the rioting, the violence and the chaos on our soil.. be defeated in the USA?

Yes, and they soon will be forever.

It’s easy to grow weary in any good work or to think one's vote is meaningless (when the media and counting systems are so whack), but this couldn’t be further from the truth.

Hey believers, be the smart people who pro-actively resolve the problems. Go vote.

Be praying Christians who get involved -- smart activity can put eyes everywhere and create new ways to get real news out.

Scripture calls us to be vigilant citizens, and active participants in shaping a world where our children and grandchildren will live.. and those people who will live around them.

When we pray for our nation, we aren’t asking for blessings without our own commitment to do our part. Think about it.

Yesterday I was told to think positive thoughts. I wasn't speaking negatively at all or even speaking. Okay, and I'll start by praying those thoughts and getting my butt out the door! Too many are stopping with positive thoughts (the PMA religion didn't help us last time)!

I have been a parent (are you one?). If so, you know one doesn’t leave a child’s well-being for their future to chance, we should not sit idly by, hoping for the best while avoiding smart action. We don't get many options it seems with these elections. It comes down to two.. we can't merely do nothing. That won't help.

God, in His sovereignty, invites us into active partnership, reminding us that faith without works is not true faith at all. This means that our vote isn’t just a political statement; it’s a step toward stewarding the land we’ve been given, to preserve, uplift, and protect it.

As Christians, we face choices between leaders who will either promote values aligned with God’s heart or lead toward what the Bible calls a “reproach.” The sanctity of life, the family as God designed it, the protection of freedoms, and support for our nation’s allies, like Israel, aren’t just political points—they’re moral imperatives that God cares about deeply. Some argue that God’s sovereignty makes our vote unnecessary, but that perspective neglects our duty as citizens. Even in a flawed, earthly system, we’re called to pursue justice, support good leadership, and seek God’s wisdom in every action.

Every election is an opportunity to influence our laws, freedoms, and societal character in a way that reflects God’s principles. The Apostle Paul urged Christians to pray for their leaders (1 Timothy 2:1-4), recognizing that righteous leaders cultivate peace, freedom, and the spread of the gospel. When we abstain from voting, we allow others to steer the nation, potentially toward agendas that could limit our freedoms or erode our values.

God blesses each of us with a unique influence, with different gifts, talents, and opportunities.

And this week with a chance to protect the nation’s future.. to advocate for biblical values, and shine His light in an ever-darkening world.

Get real, Christian. Live for Jesus in a balanced and tactful way. Jesus is the way.

Go and vote, not just as a citizen of this land, but as a citizen of Heaven. Be one, seeking to be salt and light, protecting what’s sacred, and guiding our nation toward Him.. toward walking in righteousness together.

Am I thinking of me here? Nope. When I vote I'm thinking about my grandchildren and children and those they will live near.

One of the two candidates will do better for this land and its people than the other one. There are always only two to choose from. Has it ever been more obvious?

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people” is a Bible verse from Proverbs 14:34.

Want to change your nation, then start on your knees and read your Bible.

A nation's greatness is determined by its moral character, not by its military, economic, or political strength.

It's my responsibility as a citizen to vote. I've been a parent but I never said, "Hey God's got my children. He's sovereign and will do as he pleases with them."

No, I've had responsibilities to wisely put into action. As parents, we pray and we obey -- yes, we respond to our own responsibilities in raising God's property biblically. They are on loan to us, they are not ours.

I never said as a citizen, "Hey God is sovereign. He will do what he pleases with our nation. He doesn't want me to do anything because he is big enough."

Yes, He doesn't need me, and He can do anything but that doesn't negate my real responsibility as a citizen to go vote.

I won't tell you how to vote or who to vote for, but I will tell you how I vote.

I'm voting for the sanctity of life because every one of you was not born as irredeemable deplorable garbage.

You have great value to God and us voting matters to him.

God expects Christians to go vote.

It doesn't matter to many people, but it indeed does matter to Him.

Please do vote as if life and death were hanging in the balance for people.. because this is exactly the situation.

Ask yourself regarding unborn babies: If a person is declared dead when their heartbeat stops, they should be declared alive when their heart starts. Q: When a pregnant mother is murdered, why is it still in the USA called a double homicide?

I'm voting for the person who affirms the family unit as God defines the family.

I'm going to vote for the one who strongly supports our own military (not for unjust wars as the RINO and Liberal warmongers and profiteers want), and supports our nation's police too cuz I believe in the Reagan doctrine of peace through strength. It worked.

I'm voting for the candidate who will support and stand by our strongest national Ally which is Israel.. they've always stood by us. God himself stands by this Ally, the apple of his eye.

Our government also has responsibilities to us citizens, not to other nation's crimials:

Have those in power been doing their part? What are the real responsibilities of the US government?

To protect the citizens, to punish evil-doers, to uphold the rule of law cuz we are a nation of laws and to uphold the Constitution of the USA.

Yes, beyond protecting US citizens, punishing wrongdoers here, and upholding the rule of law along with the US Constitution.. our government also has responsibilities in providing certain services because they tax us like crazy for these.

Again, our US government is to be managing the economy properly without adding to the debt, promoting public welfare with our tax dollars, and safeguarding national security which includes maintaining a strong border where people don't just sneak in.. as they have been by the millions. They are to be well-representing US citizens internationally (we've actually lost a whole lot of respect from the other nations over the last term), and There ensuring equal opportunity for all citizens.

Any so-called Christian pastor who says (and many of them in our day still need to become a real Christian cuz there is zero fruit..) he will sit this election out and not vote.. (even though it's not against the law of the Land to stay home).. because both candidates are so flawed has lost all credibility.

He is called of God to set a good example. Of course, he shouldn't tell God's people or anyone who to go vote for, but he could tell how he votes.. biblically. There are Bible principles that he can lay out. In our democratic country, the freedom to vote is more than a privilege—it is a profound responsibility. To abstain from voting, especially for Christians who seek a righteous nation, is a missed opportunity to uphold values that align with biblical teachings.

In the landscape of a democratic nation, the freedom to vote is not only a privilege; it is a profound and sacred responsibility. When a Christian leader, especially a pastor, opts to sit out an election, citing the flaws of both candidates, he risks more than just a missed opportunity. He risks his credibility as a shepherd of God’s people. As leaders called to set an example, pastors are entrusted with a duty not to endorse candidates by name, but to teach principles that guide believers to vote biblically. For God’s people, voting is an act of stewardship, a chance to influence the moral compass of a nation toward righteousness.

The Scriptures are unambiguous: “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people” (Proverbs 14:34).

This biblical truth underscores why it is essential to uphold values that honor God’s commandments and His design for life, family, and justice. We know that every leader is imperfect, and as long as we live in a fallen world, this will always be true. But our duty is to seek alignment with biblical principles and the Author.

When we individually decline to vote, we ignore the blessings of our democracy and the privilege that God has given us to have a voice here.

We can put our heads together and figure out how deal with all the cheating. The cheaters and felon-level criminals are not the smart people here.

It is in this free society that our brothers and sisters around the world are often denied even the most basic freedoms of faith, speech, and assembly. To abstain, especially in a critical time, is to disregard this gift and the mandate to “render.. unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s” (Matthew 22:21). If we are willing to steward our time, talents, and resources for the Lord, how much more should we steward our vote?

Pastors, above all, have a unique platform. They need NEVER tell believers who to vote for, but they can share why biblical values need to shape their choices.

They can remind believers that while God is sovereign over nations, He has given us the freedom and responsibility to choose leaders who honor His principles. As Christians, we’re called to pray for our leaders not hate them (1 Timothy 2:1-4), and to act wisely to uphold what is true and just.

Abstaining from this responsibility is not neutrality—it is idiotic surrender.

I say surrender to the Lord you King who paid for your redemption.

Voting is not about perfection in a candidate or how excited we are for a human (we are done with idols); it’s about choosing the best path to further God’s will in our nation. The kids need us to act right.

Our choices impact the freedoms and values that future generations will inherit. May our pastors lead with biblical, Holy Spirit conviction.

Please, let's all recognize that voting is a means to influence our nation toward righteousness, aligning ourselves with the call to be faithful stewards of the freedoms we have been given. We want people saved.. we want citizens safe here until they are saved.

It boggles the mind -- something ought to be said to the church folk! There were 40 million Evangelical Christians who did not vote last time in the US Presidential election. How incredibly STUPID is that! I say get up off of your blessed assurance and act like the Christian that you claim to be!

Yes, millions of so-called saints have refused to do what saints are called to righteously go do! Get involved and vote. It boggles the mind. If that is you, I respectfully reprove you.. and if you are younger then I respectfully rebuke you -- please change and board the clue bus.

Try to imagine that: forty million voices that could have influenced the nation, forty million opportunities to stand up for godly biblical values left silent. It's wrong!

We pray for change here, that God's Kingdom will come here, yet we’re unwilling to step into the arena where change begins. Scripture calls us to be salt and light, to influence the world for Christ and good, yet many have withheld that influence, expecting others to carry the weight. It's sin!

Our nation’s direction isn’t determined only by leaders; it’s determined by the people who choose those leaders.. or by those who allow the cheating in the counting to continue! So if we believe in righteousness, if we believe in standing up for Christ and His Bible truth.

If we take a stand for protecting the vulnerable and innocent, it’s time to get up off our “blessed assurance” and act like the Christians we claim to be. It's time to reject the hypocrisy! When we pray and go vote, we’re not just casting a ballot—we’re taking a stand for what we believe in and setting an example for future generations. Why should they have a jacked-up world to live in because you misjudged and were lazy?

Reject all hubris, there's room for learning in Christ. Choose Him as Lord of all in your life. None of us are know it alls.. except God.  Please repent, get real, and believe in Christ!

Don’t allow yourself to get worked up because of those who choose to love evil and do evi -- they'll soon fade away. Don't become envious of them -- they’ll soon be gone. They love to take what's not theirs, but don't allow them to steal your peace, joy or victory, believer.

When it seems like the evil people keep winning and like decent citizens keep gettin' mowed over by them, just keep trusting in the Lord relationally. Forgive, and let Jesus be the good witness He already is through you. He can heal, comfort, restore, provide and fight your enemies. If they won't repent, He will judge them, stop them, and take vengeance so you don't need to.

When we glance at these trying times today, it’s so important that we boldly walk in love, wisely stay focused on our totally just God and His eternal Word.

“Don’t bother your head with braggarts or wish you could succeed like the wicked. In no time they’ll shrivel like grass clippings and wilt like cut flowers in the sun. Get insurance with God and do a good deed, settle down and stick to your last. Keep company with God, get in on the best. Open up before GOD, keep nothing back; he’ll do whatever needs to be done: He’ll validate your life in the clear light of day..” msg.

And just rest in the Lord, and wait on Him, and worship delighting in Him. Sure, we can still watch, pray and be practical. I challenge you to commit your way to the Lord. Do see Jesus high and lifted up. When all seems so out of control here, He is ultimately in control. You won’t see that through earthly eyes, but you and I will see this with His perspective. It’s no time to fret, worry, become distracted or anxious with the wrong focus.

"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." Proverbs 16:3

Time is nothing to God, He’s not affected by time. There was a time not too long ago where Hitler and his thugs were raveging the nations and peoples of this world, and then one day God who really hates sin said, No more! That’s enough!! All dictators more or less like him (of Fascism, of Socialism, of Communism etc.) come to and end. They will not inherit this earth.

Remember  V-E Day, that moment of great celebration when World War II was over. Remember  V-J Day and then even more celebration?

The earth is the Lord's, we can learn from him and our trials, and the meek will indeed inherit the earth.

In God’s world it pays to know and follow Christ, even when it doesn’t look like it. Every knee shall indeed bow and every tongue will one day soon confess that He is Lord. We are on the winning team.

"The Lord despises every kind of cheating." Proverbs 20:10

We no longer have a legitimate President - we have a dictator who was installed by our enemies.

"You get what you vote for." That used to be true back in the day.

I’m going to say it. Your corrupt US government or other Gov is not your Lord and master.

Those who govern lose power without the consent of the governed. Without consent.. Corporate America with Media and those who govern ...overrode the Consent of the Governed.

"The Lord is famous for the way He punishes the wicked in their own snares!" Psalm 9:16

“There is sin and evil in the world, and we're enjoined by Scripture and the Lord Jesus to oppose it with all our might. I urge you to beware the temptation of pride—the temptation of blithely declaring yourselves above it all  and, thereby, remove yourself from the struggle between right and wrong and good and evil.”  ~ Ronald Reagan

Approved speech otherwise penalties!.. is not free speech!

Untrustworthy elections = taxation without representation!

And “I won’t be lectured about conspiracy theories from liberal people who say that cow farts are going to destroy planet Earth in 12 years." ~ Cat T.

"I have sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man." ~ Thomas Jefferson

"I’m thoroughly convinced that if the government said to drink toilet water, half the country would do it - no questions asked." ~ Cat T.

"The government has now set the precedent that normal life is a privilege they allow us to have, something that can be withdrawn at any moment, under any justification, with the expectation of nothing in return but grovelling obedience and vitriolic repudiation of any dissenters." ~ Paul J. Watson

The CEOs of Amazon, Wikipedia, the US Chamber of Commerce, CNN and the Executive Editor of the Washington Post all have resigned this week. What do they all have in common? Their TDS and the huge collusion theft of a US election. All hate Pres. Trump and it appears that all are now running for cover. Chamber of Commerce CEO Tom Donohue is also stepping down cuz he and the C of C. were also involved in the cabsal that "fortified the US election (stole)"

“Do not worry because of evildoers,
Nor be envious toward wrongdoers;
For they will wither quickly like the grass,
And fade like the green herb.
Trust rely on and have confidence in the Lord and do good;
Dwell in the land and feed [securely] on His faithfulness.
Delight yourself in the Lord,
And He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart.
Commit your way to the Lord;
Trust in Him also and He will do it.
He will make your righteousness [your pursuit of right standing with God] like the light,
And your judgment like [the shining of] the noonday sun.
Be still before the Lord; wait patiently for Him and entrust yourself to Him;
Do not fret (whine, agonize) because of him who prospers in his way,
Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes.
Cease from anger and abandon wrath;
Do not fret; it leads only to evil.
For those who do evil will be cut off,
But those who wait for the Lord, they will inherit the land.
For yet a little while and the wicked one will be gone forever;
Though you look carefully where he used to be, he will not be found.
But the humble will at last inherit the land
And will delight themselves in abundant prosperity and peace.
The wicked plots against the righteous
And gnashes at him with his teeth.
The Lord laughs at him [the wicked one—the one who oppresses the righteous],
For He sees that his day [of defeat] is coming.
The wicked have drawn the sword and bent their bow
To cast down the afflicted and the needy,
To slaughter those who are upright in conduct those with personal integrity and godly character.
The sword of the ungodly will enter their own heart,
And their bow will be broken.
Better is the little of the righteous [who seek the will of God]
Than the abundance (riches) of many wicked (godless).
For the arms of the wicked will be broken,
But the Lord upholds and sustains the righteous [who seek Him].
The Lord knows the days of the blameless,
And their inheritance will continue forever.
They will not be ashamed in the time of evil,
And in the days of famine they will have plenty and be satisfied.
But the wicked (ungodly) will perish,
And the enemies of the Lord will be like the glory of the pastures and like the fat of lambs [that is consumed in smoke],
They vanish—like smoke they vanish away.
The wicked borrows and does not pay back,
But the righteous is gracious and kind and gives.
For those blessed by God will [at last] inherit the land,
But those cursed by Him will be cut off.
The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the Lord,
And He delights in his way [and blesses his path].
When he falls, he will not be hurled down,
Because the Lord is the One who holds his hand and sustains him.
I have been young and now I am old,
Yet I have not seen the righteous (those in right standing with God) abandoned
Or his descendants pleading for bread.
All day long he is gracious and lends,
And his descendants are a blessing.
Depart from evil and do good;
And you will dwell [securely in the land] forever.
For the Lord delights in justice
And does not abandon His saints (faithful ones);
They are preserved forever,
But the descendants of the wicked will [in time] be cut off.
The righteous will inherit the land
And live in it forever.
The mouth of the righteous proclaims wisdom,
And his tongue speaks justice and truth.
The law of his God is in his heart;
Not one of his steps will slip.
The wicked lies in wait for the righteous
And seeks to kill him.
The Lord will not leave him in his hand
Or let him be condemned when he is judged.
Wait for and expect the Lord and keep His way,
And He will exalt you to inherit the land;
[In the end] when the wicked are cut off, you will see it.
I have seen a wicked, violent man [with great power]
Spreading and flaunting himself like a cedar in its native soil,
Yet he passed away, and lo, he was no more;
I sought him, but he could not be found.
Mark the blameless man [who is spiritually complete], and behold the upright [who walks in moral integrity];
There is a [good] future for the man of peace [because a life of honor blesses one’s descendants].
As for transgressors, they will be completely destroyed;
The future of the wicked will be cut off.
But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord;
He is their refuge and stronghold in the time of trouble.
The Lord helps them and rescues them;
He rescues them from the wicked and saves them,
Because they take refuge in Him.“ Psalm 37

Those who wholly trust in the Lord enjoy security, but there’s full on insecurity for the wicked. Let’s tactfully tell them the Good News if they are open to hearing. Any can repent and believe, can turn and trust God’s only way.

“When good people run things, everyone is glad, but when the ruler is bad, everyone groans.” Proverbs 29:2

We have technology that can take the number from a piece of plastic and instantly verify proper funds, to the penny, in a bank account and then transfer that money worldwide in seconds precisely and accurately. Q. Why don't we have a system that ensures that one person gets one vote?

“There we captives sat down and wept,
When we remembered Zion [the city God imprinted on our hearts].
On the willow trees in the midst of Babylon
We hung our harps.
For there they who took us captive demanded of us a song with words,
And our tormentors [who made a mockery of us demanded] amusement, saying,
'Sing us one of the songs of Zion.'

How can we sing the Lord’s song
In a strange and foreign land?
If I forget you, O Jerusalem,
Let my right hand forget her skill with the harp.
Let my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth
If I do not remember you,
If I do not prefer Jerusalem
Above my chief joy.

Remember, O Lord, against the sons of Edom,
The day of the fall of Jerusalem,
Who said ‘Down, down with her
To her very foundation.’
O daughter of Babylon, you devastator,
How blessed will be the one
Who repays you with destruction as you have repaid us.
How blessed will be the one who seizes and dashes your little ones
Against the rock.” Psalm 137 amp

It's time you and me become experts in biblical praying. Yep, Instead of us merely "sayin' your prayers", let's earnestly pray. You know we could opt to become experts in a lot of things, but look around you. In these last days your friends, family, missionaries and nation need us praying more than ever before.

"Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you." 2 Thessalonians 3:16

Let's learn prayin' in simply prayin', and in the Bible as well.

It can be unspoken or just a light whisper upwards to your best Friend. It can be so short "Jesus, help my friend through that horrible test." or longer. It can be on your knees or as you drive "Lord, I feel kinda scared. Help me trust and love you more today." Prayer is more a longing of the soul expressed, than it is of religious begging or of mere asking. Before your Lord it can be a groan, a  m o a n, or a thank you Father, or even a sigh. It is daily an admission of one's weakness. It is better in prayer to have a humble heart with an engaged-mind without words.. than words without heart. "Jesus, please make a way through, over or out--there's seems to be no way at all."

"I remember my mother's prayers and they have always followed me. They have clung to me all my life." ~ Abraham Lincoln

"To pray rightly, you must make God your hope, stay, and all. Right prayer sees nothing substantial or worth being concerned about except God." ~ John Bunyan

"Stay faithful. If you're hurting, stay hopeful. Pray and give thanks to God for the opportunity to grow; ask Him to shed light, ask Him for clarity." ~ Thomas Nelson

"God does nothing except in response to believing prayer." ~ John Wesley

"The world was made partly that there may be prayer; partly that our prayers might be answered." ~ C.S. Lewis

"Prayer is the forerunner of mercy. Turn to sacred history, and you will find that scarcely ever did a great mercy come to this world unheralded by supplication." ~ Charles H. Spurgeon

Father, we come to You now for the peace that only You can give...

Prince of peace...
We pray that You give us peace in this Land, and a fresh awareness of Your presence as we each continue on with Jesus as Lord. Fill us, refill, refresh us with Your Spirit, with vision, with new vitality that we may approach Your throne of grace having confidence to receive mercy and find grace for those for whom we pray. (Isaiah 9:6; 40:29; Hebrews 4:16)

(Of course at any point in this.. continue on feeling free to inject your own requests, thanks, praise, prayer-burdens, leader's names, worries or needs. It doesn't matter where you live, earnestly pray for your nation and leaders today)

LORD, we call out to You because You are gracious and righteous and full of compassion...
In our nation and others COVID is surging with illness and death, again overwhelming medical personnel and resources. We call to You to stop the spread of the virus, and until You do, give Your peace to the ill, their families and those treating them. (Psalm 116:5)

O Lord, help us to seek our refuge in You......
Grant peace to the unemployed and to those who have lost businesses in this economic crisis that has affected so many. Rise to their defense! Stop the contention in congress; lead them to a relief package that is right in Your sight. (Jeremiah 16:19; Psalm 35:23; Daniel 4:27)

King of heaven, Lord of the whole world...
As citizens of Your kingdom and of our nation, we ask for real revival in the church, and a spiritual awakening everywhere! We ask for an outpouring--let it rain! We ask for a gullywasher of a downpour. We agree and ask for Your peace, and for order in our nation’s election process. Help us and stop all the cheating going on. Enable it to be free from fraud, from weird intimidation and from confusion. Grant us an honorable transition as elected officials are installed. (Daniel 4:37; Zechariah 6:5; Ephesians 2:19; 1 Corinthians 14:33)

Sovereign LORD, Most High over all the earth...
Let Your peace prevail in the filling of the vacancy on our Supreme Court. Give us a Justice who seeks You for a wise and discerning heart, who holds Your Word in their heart as they weigh their decisions. (Psalm 71:16; 97:9; Isaiah 26:12; 1 Kings 3:12; Deuteronomy 30:14)

Lord of peace, speak peace to the winds that are blowing through our nation...
As winds of strange doctrines blow through, and winds of natural hurricanes and of wildfires too.. destroy land and lives.. other winds of emotional turmoil rage in many hearts today. Calm the storms. Bind the enemy and his fallen angel thugs here. Speak peace to your people and stop what's deceptive and destructive here. Give us Your discernment so we won't be duped by false teachers. God, we see abuse in families, violent behavior on the streets, and bizarre plots to kidnap government officials. Please stop those funding the violence and riots -- expose them. Help em get caught and properly prosecuted. In mercy, grant us peace in our land. (Leviticus 26:6)

God our Savior, our hope is in You...
As Your church serves those who are hurting, give us boldness to share the gospel with those whose hearts have been softened by loss. May they believe and receive Christ, that they may have peace with You through Jesus Christ. (Psalm 25:5; Romans 1:16; John 1:12; Romans 5:21)

In Jesus’ name, amen.

"Prayer is not overcoming God’s reluctance, but laying hold of His willingness." ~ Martin Luther

"Every great movement of God can be traced to a kneeling figure." ~ D.L. Moody

"You know the value of prayer: It is precious beyond all price. Never, never neglect it." ~ Thomas Buxton

"The reason why we obtain no more in prayer is because we expect no more. God usually answers us according to our own hearts." ~ Richard Alleine

"A day without prayer is a day without blessing, and a life without prayer is a life without power." ~  Edwin Harvey

Our God is greater, our God is stronger, our God is healer, our God is there for you.
God you are higher than any other person. None compare--none are like you.
Jesus is our wonderful counslor, Savior and Lord--can't brag on Him enough really. His thoughts and ways are higher too. If He is for us (and God is SO for us today), then what or who can stand against us? Null, nothin', no one can. He is our victory.
What do I personally want to encourage you in? Well, I want to encourage you in prayer and in any other area that you might need. Need me to pray for you?
I don't need some religion or this world -- nope, just give me Jesus.
Every day I want to be a re-heated born gain believer in the word and praying in faith.
Not spiritually cold, not inverted, or distracted, or lukewarm.. not takin' a stride from my Master's side. Nope, but wanna live red hot on-fire for Jesus Christ.
Father God, turn our nation back to You again. Please refill us with Your Spirit again so we can walk as Jesus walked, so we in love can serve as He served. Yes, so those looking to us for help, can be encouraged, edified, equipped and simply go the distance with Christ.

It's been quite a year for us huh. Never seen one like this. Me thinks you already are effective prayers... but it's time for you and me to press in closer all the more. It's time for each of us to become experts in biblical praying more than ever before. Yes, more than ever before. You know we could opt to become experts in a lot of things, but look around you. In these last days your friends, family, missionaries and nation need us praying more than ever before.
