The start of all three world wars.. was? Will there be another war in our future? Sadly yes. Who or what can I trust in during wartime?

Personally, I live for a Bulwark that is never failing! He has a name.

Man, what is that? A bulwark is a strong defensive structure when the attacks are coming in. God is my defense today. Is He yours as well?

"Walk about Zion, and go round about her; number the towers thereof; mark ye well her bulwarks; consider her palaces: that ye may tell it to the generation following. For this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide even unto death." Psalm 48:12-14 asv

“For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm." Ephesians 6:12-13 nlt

Having a bulwark in the ancient world was a common strategy for protecting cities and nations from invading forces. The image of a bulwark was used in the Scriptures to describe how God dwelt closely with his people and He protected them from their enemies.

Paul the Apostle described the church as a “household of the living God” which stood strong as a “pillar and bulwark of the truth” (1 Timothy 3:15).

The Apostle Peter also used the image of a fortified house to describe how Christ called his followers to be joined together as “living stones built into a spiritual house” with Christ himself as the foundation and cornerstone (1 Peter 2:5,6).

What have you built, and what have you been building your life upon? What's your defense against the evil onslaught here and in regards to eternity against splitting hell wide open? Not trying to scare anyone really.

Are you a disciple of Jesus who has built their life on sand or someone who has built it on a firm foundation base/on solid rock. The house built on sand that Jesus described was easily swept away when the storms and floods beat upon it, while the house built on a secure rock stood firm (See Matthew 7:24-27).

I hate the destruction of wars. Where do they come from? Many a man has war in his heart.

Will there be a World War Three? Who do you think will get the blame for it, many or just one person? Not really sure. Just want to maintain my focus at this time.

Surviving the end times - what do I need to know?

Following the 1,000-year reign of Christ on earth after his Second Coming, there will be another massive uprising which could possibly have the scope of a world war. It'll happen. Mr. Lu-Cifer a.k.a. Satan will be bound for 1,000 years and then released. Upon his release, he leads a rebellion among the peoples of the earth. Christ quickly puts down this rebellion and permanently judges Satan, casting him into the lake of fire as He did with the beast/antichrist and the false prophet (Revelation 20:7-10).

Where exactly will Jesus return? Where will Jesus come back? Does the Bible give the precise location where Jesus will return?

What does it mean that Satan will be bound for a thousand years?

Believers, we are here to Love God and His people from the heart.. to serve and represent Him well before all people, but that doesn't mean we must hang around them long (to where they are negatively influencing others) if they are hating His people. Haters gunna hate--some of them never want to let go of it, or of the lies they've heard and simply be changed.

Kurt, can I for sure have an assurance inside of salvation today before things get worse on earth? Yes. 

I can for sure? Yep. 

But wait, I still have some unanswered questions on this subject? 

How can I know in my knower..know for sure? How can I once and for all time.. stop questioning my salvation?

When Martin was under siege cuz of all the wrong that he'd seen, he earnestly sought and found his Mighty Fortress for eternal safety.

Strong rock-cleft for me, let me hide myself in Thee. 

Not passive or unpassionate, but waiting on the Lord on fire, not fearful but taking ground for the Kingdom, not uninformed but learning truth by His Bible illumination, not unproductively here but instead live constructive by God's Spirit. Real passion comes from God. Ask. He hates lukewarm-apathy and indifference.. not hating people like that. He loves us all and expects us to live passionately in Him. Every area of our lives is to be touched by His passion. We all are to love Christ 24/7/365 passionately! God says... 

"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men.." Col. 3:23 

"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no activity or planning or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead) where you are going." Eccl. 9:10 amp

Man, remember Noah's ark? He was passionate for God and ran into it. It was like a cleft, a type of Christ. It was a safe refuge that went through a gnarly killer storm. The most beautiful thing about that ark as seen earlier, was that the door of it just stayed open a long time so that anyone could just come on in and hide away if ya will. It was mercy that God had Noah build the big "boat." I love God and His great mercy, that rescues sinners like me! He does that. I love His grace as well. 

Please opt to be a worldchanger in the Father's worldchanging Son.. at the end of the world if ya will. You know it's at least the end of your world experience here right? 

Noah was one who reached out to others in his world. He loved God, people, and perhaps even animals it would appear. He "found grace in the eyes of the Lord" (Gen. 6:8). Do you remember Noah's directives? 

"You shall take with you seven each of every clean animal, a male and his female; two each of animals that are unclean, a male and his female; also seven each of birds of the air, male and female, to keep the species alive on the face of all the earth. For after seven more days I will cause it to rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and I will destroy from the face of the earth all living things that I have made." Gen. 7-4

Noah and Lot both lived at the end of the world so to speak. Each at the end of their world right before a cataclysm arrived. Noah built a big boat and he won his family over to faith in the one living God, but Lot got a couple daughters out of town, away from the danger zone. You remember how his wife turned and looked in longing for that worldly place and got judged. Man, Lots' relatives didn't want to listen to him or follow. Did they feel they had too much to lose there? Was it due to his lame example that Lot set that he couldn't even get his own wife to safety? 

"Then the Lord said to Noah, 'Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation.'" Gen. 7:1

You too can be spiritually "fruitful and multiply" here on earth while here. We can feel empathy and compassion like God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit do towards all those that God created. The Bible says, "And all flesh died that moved on the earth: birds and cattle and beasts and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man. All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, all that was on the dry land, died." Gen. 7:21-22

Let's all be and live righteous before the Lord. We can in Jesus Christ! I've been thinking a lot about Noah lately, not a whole lot about Lot really. Both were real persons of course. Noah preached the truth for over 600 years. You know that door of his ark which was a type of Christ... stayed open a long time so anybody could go into it and be safe. Why didn't more go in? Only Noah's family went in and then later his son mocked his dad. Noah had gotten naked and drunk. Was Noah depressed or what? Man, why did he do that. I love how the Bible ain't like a movie, it's doesn't hide the flaws of it's heros, but says it like it happened. Do you think about Lot in the city some? He was a city person who also lived way back in the day. I can empathize. He sure had a hard time trying to even get his relatives to believe the truth about gettin' out of town for safety.

Are you kinda not sure of where to go? Jesus said, "I am the way.." Thee way, not one way among many. All roads do lead to God so to speak at his exacting judgment bar, but only one Way takes you into his heavenly Home. It's via Jesus..

Do you have a couple sock puppets as leaders? Do you live in a land that looks like it needs a military coup because of a well planned forceful foreign takeover and occupying force? I can relate. Am not sayin’ what you should do, ask your Lord. Not sure of all that will happen in the future here with the DC Uniparty and CCP pulling the strings, but one day soon there will be a good military coup that rescues and restores all (the whole hijacked planet), as Christ and his mighty heavenly hosts return to take over here. First we get the Rapture (of his Church) and seven years later, the great coup.

I'm looking forward to the millennium, the Kingdom age with its flawless undefeated King. But until the Sweet By and By we've got to live in the nasty here and now and there are enclaves.

I live in three enclaves of sorts: Texas, Prestonwood church, and more importantly, in Christ. Come to Texas if you can, it's peaceful.. or come along with Texas (other states). But more importantly come to Christ.. come back to Christ today. Walk in Him, in his love and will for you.. yes in Him. Walk in His Spirit and come back to church, to your forever Family, to a spiritually healthy one.. who will also welcome you with open arms. Christ will, his real Church will, and I will.

And none come close, or are more powerful than this God with his host of heaven. have you been ripped off lately in small or in ginormous ways? Take courage in the courageous one. There is a rest we can enter and enjoy in our first love. When all hope fails he is still our Living Hope.

Ever heard that false money-grubbing song jingle of Johann Tezel? Ever seen an actual Catholic “indulgence” that had been sold in hopes of gaining God's grace just to get out of future fegefeuer aka purgatory or help others get out? (A place that doesn't exist. Besides God grace has always been free really). On Saturday, October 31, 1517, a 33-year-old theology professor at Wittenberg University walked over to the Castle Church in Wittenberg and nailed a paper of 95 theses to the door, hoping to spark an academic discussion about their contents. In God’s providence and unbeknownst to anyone else that day, it would become a key event in igniting the Reformation. Had he ever done this before—nail a set of theses to the Wittenberg door?

Martin had certainly proposed sets of such for academic debate, which was all he was really doing on that Saturday 10/31/'17. In fact, in September of that same year, Luther had led a debate on scholastic theology where he said many other things of so called radical Bible truth. Let's all be in God's word and that bold.

Ever been to the town of Eisenach Germany? Dunno, Luther may have also posted his Ninety-five Theses on the door of All Saints' Church and other churches in Wittenberg, in accordance with his University custom.

A Mighty Fortress Is Our God" is one of the best-known hymns by the reformer, Martin Luther. I've been to his hometown, dwelling, and church--used to live in Germany. But this hymn inspires us to find strength in God's love and salvation amid the woes of mortality.

For me, not against me is my God who leads me. I was lead and live in a nice enclave called Texas that is now seeking to secede and take some states with em (I hope they can put it off)..and Ken Paxton here along with other leaders are taking steps to fight back against all the junk DC is pushin' our way.

I live in a nice enclave of sorts it's like a big city, my growing healthy Bible teaching church. Wonderful people like-minded, lots of no spiritually compromise types that will stand the ground.

Best of all.. I live in an enclave of sorts, a real and strong refuge called Christ who understands totally and fights for me...for us because of his great love for us. In Christ the solid rock I stand all other ground is sinking sand. Go study the hymns and works of Martin Luther who lived in a Time sort of like ours. An almighty fortress Is Our God, he always wins and he never loses. When we at the hands of wicked men who cheat, have suffered losses here, God makes that backfire in the faces of our enemies. He makes it all work together for our goods like a lovely tapestry (we see the backside mess, the scrambled thread and strings sometimes, but He sees the front and the finish product). I am like his poema. It cuz we love him and are called according to his eternal purposes. See this is still to be found in the Bible, in Romans 8:28-29. world history can be broken down into three parts: generation degeneration regeneration (there was the pristine creation of God here, there was the fall of Adam in the sin -- we've all sinned, but through repentance and faith in Jesus we can be regenerated in our human spirit -- be born again spiritually). Yes, your own life can be as well. Perhaps you've suffered some degeneration lately from the ravages of this world and sin, well you can be regenerated in Christ your Refuge. Even now, He'll accept you. (Luther's home in Eisenach below)

There’s a place for you to rightly fit in. Snug and clean. Live in there..in Him.. sound, safe, secure. Not passive, not fearful, not uninformed, not unproductively. Remember Noah's ark? Christ is full of grace, mercy and glory. All are invited to come to God. WE are  in the age of grace right now, the door is open. Won’t always be. Basically, all roads do lead to God at his very exacting judgment bar, but only one way takes you into his heavenly Home. Jesus. Fish4souls.org 

There are trials, attacks and afflictions here at times. Yes, it's not always safe for your physical body, but you are safe in Jesus. I'm leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms. His. I'm in the Cleft. I say lean forward in Him, and go that way with Him leading too! Did you know that 50% of the population lean forward and the other half lean the other way when in danger. I say lean into Him as your Refuge and advance!

Unlike most people today Martin wanted so badly wanted to be rid of his sins and become perfect. I remember visiting that room where he translated the Scriptures into the language of the people–lived a few hours south of there.

Q: Can one get into heaven who has not been made perfect?

Many theologians today from various denominations in churches don’t even know the answer to that question when they really should know. They’d know if they simply read and taught the Bible instead of dead religion–man’s dumb thoughts minus truth.

Listen, you cannot get into heaven unless you’ve been made perfect, as perfect as God is …though none of us ever become gods as some teach.

I suspect you have a problem there.. huh? You are not perfect…. but you can be made perfect today.

Yes, all have sinned. For some.. many have sinned many times a day (not glad about, but I've certainly done that and enjoyed that for a time..) and yet God allows no sin into His holy heaven. That’s why he sent Jesus and that’s the reason for Christ’s cross.

Have you heard of imputed righteousness? 

God says, "Come now, and let us reason together,' says the Lord, 'Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool." Isaiah 1:18-20 nkjv 

Many feel that they have sinned too much to be forgiven, but that is totally false. God’s grace is totally sufficient even for the worst of criminals.

The Bible says, "For He (God the Father) made Him (Jesus Christ) who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." 2 Corinthians 5:21 nkjv

God also says, "Be ye therefore perfect (teleioj), even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect" (Matthew 5:48). God wants all of us repentant, trusting, cleansed, reborn spiritually (John 3:3) and growing into biblical spiritual maturity both in mind and character, actively integrating godly values into our daily lives. The later of course follows the second birth. God says, "You must be blameless before the Lord your God" (Deuteronomy 18:13). Martin Luther discovered not only is there the “righteousness of God” that God himself has, but there’s the “righteousness from God” imputed to our account ..that makes us perfectly righteous in His sight. So Many Hate October 31st. Not Me!

We only saw a few Trick-or-Treaters at our door tonight. Cute kids! How many did you see?

I'm pretty tried right now after a long day, but Liney and I both still like meetin' new people at our door. How often do so many neighbors come around to talk.  

You probably know already that I'm not so much into October 31st otherwise ..for some reasons (i.e., dead monster faces, witches, masks etc.), but hey, for other reasons we do have grounds to celebrate.

Again, we enjoy gettin' into extended chats with those around us. Face it, October 31^st can be a great night for being or giving out a clear witness of your simple faith relationship. They don't come to our door to get beat up with the Bible at all (goes without saying..), but it can be a non-condemning friendship-building time. We believers have what they need most and I want to ..in some appropriate way.. make our visitors feel welcome and thirsty for Jesus Christ. You do too huh.

Did you know that Halloween means "All Saints Day" (originally it meant "All Hallow Even"). It's of course the evening before All Saint's Day, November 1st.  

Did you know that in Saxony, Germany on October 31^st during the year of 1517.. that was when Dr. Martin Luther knocked a hole in his Latin-written 95 theses as he hung it on the main door at the Castle Church in Wittenberg? We can all celebrate that right? Yes hooray, the common folk would get the Word of God!

Monk Martin was only 33 years old at the time. He was studying Psalms, Hebrews and Romans back then. The poor people didn't yet have the Bible in their own language. He wanted to give them a great gift! You remember how only the clergy back then knew the mysterious Scriptural language. But thanks to the Holy Spirit and also to the Guttenberg Press, Martin's important Message of free grace apart from works spread far, fast, and wide. We all in the Body of Christ are called to spread the Gospel in a way that people can understand!

Since then, October 31^st has come to be known as "Reformation Sunday"—the Birthday of the Protestant Reformation! How cool is that!!! We can indeed fully celebrate this day every year and also the courageous stand that this hated monk named, Martin, took for us. Reminds me of the uncompromising stance that Jesus Christ took for us.. unto death.. but now He lives again!

The wicked popes ruled on earth ahead of all the other leaders. Leaders and common folk greatly feared them. Who wanted to go to Hell? And Luther was fed up with the growing "Church" corruption that he saw firsthand in Rome. Have you seen any outside of Rome? He hated seeing God's forgiveness of sins and His free salvation sold by Rome's clergy (remember, Herr Johan Tetzel who wrongly sold indulgences "in the Name of Jesus" right there in Martin's area, die Anlaß Briefe). Never forget that God has always intended His great Salvation to be without cost for any who would repent and believe in Jesus. Rightly so did Luther feel angry inside at all the religious evil. He wasn't ticked off at the people. Because of the cross God wasn't either..still isn't mad at you or me. Martin with his inner convictions of the Spirit simply wanted to do something to help people understand and God was backin' him to the hilt!

Perhaps you've read this statement of Luther from the Diet of Worms before. This was two-and-a-half-years later (April 17-18, 1521) after going public with his theses on the door. Those words were spoken at one of the famous Diets for which he would defend his conviction's before many key church and state leaders. Must of been a bit nervous. Yup, a major public hearing. Would he survive it?

But if Luther didn't repent and recant before these folk, he would soon be excommunicated and then they would plan to execute this AWOL wild "bore in God's vinyard." What happened? Well, Luther remained true to his firstlove. and later he burned the Papal Bull letter out in the open meant to kick him out for good. He loved Jesus, not loving his own life. Would you do that? Do you know Christ like He did? At the Wartburg Castle Martin felt motivated to press on and to translate the entire Bible for the people he loved. God helped him make it happen. Today, I feel so grateful everytime I merely pick up my Luther Bibel.

And I remember clearly when I was there in that same room where Martin worked at a small desk. Apparenty the devil appeared to him not just a little mad at him and the process. But Mr Lu-Cifer did not scare anyone there. And greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world, believer! I was just trying to imagine there what all that alone-time must have been like for Luther. How much support did he really have there? Must have been enough.
