"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness." 1 Timothy 2:1-2. Everyone needs to pray in the Name of Jesus; as they of course remain submitted to the governing authorities (you know, short of ever sinning to do so), for there is no authority on earth except that which God has established.

God hears and responds to the prayers of His people! (Cuz the #USA is in trouble.. today 6/2 is a special day of prayer for our President so that he'll have wisdom and guidance to lead the people)
