Want f a m e or a lasting flame.. minus all that blame? You're not meant for shame or to remain the same. This life - no game. Why live for a comely ripped frame? Friends woke when ya snored. Are you currently adored or just plain bored ... driving that not-so-late-model Ford that you can barely afford? Are you less than perfect yet craving so much more?

I don’t need my name in lights, I’m famous in my Father’s sight. I don’t need to live for fame, it’s such a lame and empty game.. or live for man’s applause. Cuz He knows my name, it fades so quick.. and I’m just not the same.
Tryin’ to fill.. tryin’ to satisfy.. so many trying to quench that strong inner thirst. Too many out there stayin’ hungry, thirsty, unfulfilled.. and they’ll do whatever it takes. So many game or runnin’ for fame, they want it, crave it, so many relocated, dislocate, can’t appropriate.. they move and live on the streets of Hollywood ..workin’ weird jobs, not workin’, doin’ whatever they can.. until they can be discovered.
Who among us could, should, can condemn what they do (I’m from there–seen em), and a few ..you’ve heard the stories.. do “make it big.” Was privileged to serve Michael Jackson and several others from the silver screen.. both singers and actors from Tinsel Town. Actually told him about relationship with Christ (in place of dead-religions) and about Christ’s Christian Gospel (from the real Bible). He was then in a cult, was a Jehovah Witness at the time and he was for sure friendly ..but didn’t really wanna listen. Sad.
I wouldn’t foolishly say I knew where he went.. where he ended up. But I can say Jesus is the only way.  All the bling, the ring, the sing, the money, the hat, the glove, the religion, the exotic costumes, the big homes, the albums, the famous friends, the glam, the accolades, the ranch, the awards, all the applause, the toys, all the boys.. none of it filled that inner void. Are you into gay sin and or pedophilia? Are you into fornication and perversity? Stop it now - it wrecks so many lives. Admit it and quit it- repent. And bail on fame-lust. Hey, I won’t cast the final judgement, no, no, but you weren’t made for that. Jesus said,
“For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Mat. 16:26). No vain ride with Jesus there to guide. Do ya feel kinda fried? God can forgive, He can pardon, He can make you faithful and pure.. with His word applied.. so satisfied inside.
Goin’ for fame.. really? Want it so?.. why even go ..for it? Name up in lights.. all bright, don’t need that–don’t need it.. to make it big. You’re not either a famous hero or a worthless zero. You have great value. Don’t get me wrong. Some people are literally called to be actors and singers even in our day. I try to encourage them with the Word. Are you?
What we each need to do is what we each were designed to do.. and we can actually find that out. Living for financial gain, for pain (cuttin’ etc), for parties, for fame is lame.. it’s like a worthless game ..that just wouldn’t do it for you.  You’d have to go look some more. Gettin’ what ya want, and then not wantin’ what ya got. Too many “arrive” and find out it’s not what they wanted. What is your master passion–what do you live for?

“Since you are precious in My sight, since you are honored and I love you, I will give other men in your place and other peoples in exchange for your life. Do not fear, for I am with you…” ~ Isaiah 43:4

I don’t need my name in lights. I’m famous in my Father’s eyes. Make no mistake.. He knows my name. I’m not living for applause, I’m already so adored. It’s all His stage, He knows my name oh, oh. He knows my name oh, oh.” ~Francesca Battistelli

For what shall it profit a person, if they shall gain followers - the whole world, and lose their own soul? Don’t need followers or fame ..in Twitter, Instagram, Periscope or wherever.. only want em following Christ. Close. So what does God say to you? Glad you asked. Says.. Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. He says…
“Don’t be afraid, I’ve redeemed you.
I’ve called your name. You’re mine.
When you’re in over your head, I’ll be there with you.
When you’re in rough waters, you will not go down.
When you’re between a rock and a hard place,
it won’t be a dead end—
Because I am God, your personal God,
The Holy of Israel, your Savior..
That’s how much you mean to me!
That’s how much I love you!
I’d sell off the whole world to get you back,
trade the creation just for you.”

Deep Satisfaction Can Be Yours!

How are you doing today? Ya got an inner void to fill or are you satisfied yet?

The Bible says, "God blesses you who are hungry now, for you will be satisfied. God blesses you who weep now, for the time will come when you will laugh with joy" (Lk. 6:21, nlt).

The Lord is radically glorified in us when we're most satisfied in Him, but second to such huge joy of abiding ..is when we from that personal worship experience, seek to help our buds also discover this deep satisfaction!

We are called to seek Jesus more and more! Hey, we have a lifetime to learn of Him and to help others discover what I'm talking about.. to discover it, to rediscover it and to really discover it (you know, abundant life in Jesus Christ) ..yes, as He increasingly becomes our all in all!

But why can this truth be liberatingly devastating for us?

Well, it starts to free us by acknowledging our inborn desire for pure joy that's been there all along.. where to find it as well as where not to find it. But it can be devastating when it reveals how much we don't desire the closeness of Christ, God's imperial rule, or even give a flip about our unregenerate or backslidden neighbors.

What did Philip say to Jesus.. "Lord, show us the Father and we will be satisfied" (Jn. 14:8). So where have you wasted time looking for fulfillment? I used to look in many places.. in surfing, in the pleasure of partying, in having the right job, car, house, friends etc. It's really in just knowing Christ personally. With some cooperation on your part, He can deal with all the junk that might get in your way, and He can also use you to infect others with constant J-O-Y!

"What then is my pay? It is the satisfaction I get from preaching the Good News without expense to anyone, never demanding my rights as a preacher." ~Paul, 1 Corinthians 9:18, nlt

"The generous prosper and are satisfied; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed." ~ Proverbs 11:25

Listen, you can know Christ's warm accepting embrace.. not of your sin.. but of you. And you can share the Gospel without fear to see others refreshed in His agape Love! Are you willing to be made willing. Then tell Him so.

"Words satisfy the soul as food satisfies the stomach; the right words on a person's lips bring satisfaction." ~Proverbs 18:20, nlt

"He has satisfied the hungry with good things and sent the rich away with empty hands." ~Jesus, Luke 1:53, nlt

Are you away from Christ and think you know real satisfaction or wealth? Sadly, you do not. We are discovering what it's really all about according to His changeless Word. Why don't you join us today?

And one day believers from around the world will be even more satisfied than right now for the Bible says, "And I—in righteousness I will see your face; when I awake, I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness" (Ps. 17:15). Don't you want to eventually look into His calming countenance and see a big welcoming smile as you enter eternity? Sure you do!

Sometimes Healing Doesn't Arrive How Or When We Want It To

We don't always get what we want, but we can still lean on the trustworthy One. Prayer is like the soil for growth, hope and healing as we look to Christ!

Science tries to prove cause and effect. In facing real sickness, faith directs us to call on the power of our loving God and boldly ask. His ways we can rarely understand but we can always trust. Thanks for the grace; it's sufficient! Don't know what it's for Lord, but Your will be done! Be glorified in me!

Know anyone seriously sick that you would like prayer for?

Obviously God never intended for sickness and disease to be a part of the human experience down here on earth, but due to our own choices and this sin-cursed situation, it kinda makes one think when he has a friend facing a serious health challenge ahead.

Contrary to popular belief in different denominational circles, we Christians are not exempt from all the pains of this life. Duh!

I personally think that when God allows an unregenerate person to get Cancer ..or say Lu Garrets disease ..it really breaks His heart and He really weeps with those who weep. We need to be there with em, genuinely care and weep with them too.

One gets cancer, and then God allows a Christian to get Cancer too. Not like: "There you go saint, it's even now."

But why? Dunno all the reasons, but He does allow it sometimes so that the watching world can clearly see the difference in how they suffer, and then hopefully turn to Him for the greatest kinds of healing (Receiving full forgiveness in a born again relationship with God is the greatest miracle Christ still works)! God has healed me before following believing prayer and it was because He wanted to bless His child, but also because He had others in mind--others who needed the ultimate healing (spiritual healing). What a joy it was just to lead some of my friends to Christ!

Yes, there is something worse than having cancer—it's needlessly having un-forgiven sin in your life when Jesus said He'd deal with that for free if you just ask Him too ..and He has basically already dealt with it on the cross. We just simply need to repent and believe, but you've already heard about that I'm sure.

"..Jesus Christ—He is Lord of all—that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached: how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him" (Acts 10:36-38, nkjv).

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever" (Heb. 13:8).

"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" (Jam. 5:16).

My prayer is a simple one, Lord: whatever is best for me, do;
In sickness, in health I desire what brings the most glory to You. —Fasick

"..to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit" (1 Cor. 12:9, nasb).

Yeah, just musing on this stuff a bit.
