Franklin Graham (9/17/25): According to court documents, Tyler Robinson’s parents said that they asked their son why he shot Charlie Kirk, to which he replied, “there is too much evil and the guy spreads too much hate.”
The Bible tells us, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil” (Isaiah 5:20). Jesus Himself calls Satan “a murderer from the beginning … and the father of lies” (John 8:44).
We live in a world that is warped by sin, and so many people are deceived. Let me be clear—speaking what the Bible says is not hate. Charlie Kirk wasn’t hating anyone when he answered question after question on campus after campus with truth from the Word of God. Life-altering, soul-saving truth that hasn’t changed since the beginning of time. Who spewed hate? The shooter. All Charlie Kirk did was love his Lord Jesus Christ and love young people enough to give them the truth, even about hard subjects like gender, marriage, abortion, and much more."
Charlie spoke the truth in love. That's what martyrs do.
Remember John who spoke so many truths with good motives for the benefit of the hearers. Yep, in love he did that.. and it also cost him his head.
Speaking the truth in love has cost so many believers there lives. Stick with the truth and wisely spreading it anyways.
John understood that Jesus must increase and that he must decrease. Because John had the proper esteem and love for Christ, he could humble himself and step out of the way speaking the truth that he did. He exampled humility for us.
How can one describe living in love and the importance of speaking the truth in love. You know, it takes a gift of boldness getting the truth out where it needs to be heard. To those SO needing to hear it.
Speaking the truth in love, you got this in Christ.

1 Corinthians 13:4–7: Can you describe the nature of selfless love required for this task. "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud...Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth".
Ephesians 4:29: At just the right time with clarity, with compassionate, with direct words of truth speak. Yes, with appropriate words: "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen".
1 John 3:18: Love calls for true words and actions alongside those words. Righteous living: "Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth".
Being bold for the truth might cost you your head.
Proverbs 28:1: This Bible associates godly boldness with righteousness, stating, "The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion". When one repents believes and is born again spiritually, God gives his righteousness. Right standing with, for right living.
2 Timothy 1:7: Courage in Christ is a gift from God the Father, as "God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control". God still provides assurance against fear of confrontation.
Ephesians 6:19–20: The Apostle Paul requests prayers to enable him to speak the gospel boldly and fearlessly.
Joshua 1:9: Before leading Israel, Joshua was commanded, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go".
The source of boldness and truth - Jesus who was and is bold.
