The sky is blue, God is true, His Gospel Message is simple.. and surely we can agree on the very basics of life. Sure, of what's 100% so. Right? (Part 2)

What's so very sublime and beautiful? What's simply true is and Him who is true. Christ is my first love!

- God loves you too, and He has a good plan: You were created by God for a purpose and you matter deeply to Him.

- The problem of sin here is real: Every person has sinned, which sadly separates them from fellowship with God.

- The Ultimate Solution is getting right with Him: Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins and mine, was buried, and rose from the dead physically.

- Your response to Christ on His (Bible) terms rather than yours: You must personally accept Jesus as your Savior and Lord to receive His free forgiveness and eternal life. Heaven and Hell are where people end up. Make your reservation in advance, please. Repentance and faith are simple.

1. The sun rises and sets every day (as we observe it).

 • "The sun rises, and the sun goes down, and hastens to the place where it rises." Ecclesiastes 1:5
 • "He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good." Matthew 5:45
 • "From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the LORD is to be praised." Psalm 113:3
People can actually become hardened in church under the sound of the truth of the gospel being preached if they choose not to respond to Him on His terms. You remember how Jesus warned us about this. Opt to walk close with Him and maintain a softened heart, rather than a hard heart towards the good things of God and His Son.

"The same sun that melts wax hardens clay." Charles Spurgeon

What is the gospel of the kingdom?

What are the essentials of the gospel message?

What is the three-circles gospel presentation, and is it biblical?

What is free grace?

What does it mean to have sincere faith (1 Timothy 1:5)?

Easy believism – What is it?

What does it mean that Jesus became sin for us (2 Corinthians 5:21)?

What is the mystery of faith?

What are the essentials of the Christian faith?

How can a Christian overcome the fear of witnessing?

The Greatest Simple Truth of All

Every one of these ordinary truths points beyond itself to the God who created and sustains all things.

"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, namely, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, being understood through what has been made..." Romans 1:20

"In Him we live and move and have our being." Acts 17:28

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." Hebrews 13:8

As A. W. Tozer wrote:

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us."

The simplest truths of everyday life are not at all accidental. They reflect the simple faithful order established by our Creator.

I feel grateful and will say Thanks, Lord. Every sunrise here in North Texas, every growing seed, every flowing river, every gentle rain, every kind word, and every consequence of our choices quietly reminds us that God's world is real, orderly, dependable, and governed by the One "who upholds the universe by the word of His power" (Hebrews 1:3).
