Ask and keep on asking. It's never wrong to ask God a pointed question knowing He doesn't owe us an answer. He answers me sometimes -- immediately, or when the time is right. His timing is perfect for his responses to our praying in faith. 

Lots of people are suffering these days -- is this pandemic pretty much over yet? What will be next for us? Sometimes it’s hard to understand why we have to suffer when we’re trying to live right, help people and do right. 

It doesn’t seem fair at times huh. We’ve all sinned and fallen short, but I know some really decent people who are suffering today. 

Please know inside that many people that are suffering in our world today are not suffering due to their own sin.. though there are also many people suffering due to their own sins as well.  

We wonder, “Why am I going through all this when other people are not going through this?” Sometimes I ask...

Why not me.. a believing sinner? That seems like a better question I can ask.

Today, I personally have far more blessings in my life than I actually deserve. I deserve the cross that Jesus took for me.

Remember the ultimate experience at the end of it for us is JOY, believer. Yes, when we see His face. But we can inJOY fellowship with Christ all the way through trials and suffering.

YES, SUFFERING IS A GIFT.. OF SORTS. YUP, A REAL GIFT SO PRAISE THE LORD IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES!

LET'S LOOK FOCUS ON GOD. LET’S CALL OUT TO THE SUFFERING SERVANT -- YES, JESUS CHRIST, WHO UNDERSTANDS. HE SUFFERED A WHOLE LOT FOR EACH ONE OF US. IF WE AS BELIEVERS SUFFER WITH HIM, GUESS WHAT.. WE WILL ALSO REIGN WITH HIM.  

READ ISAIAH 52:13 THROUGH CHAPTER 53. THE BIBLE DESCRIBES CHRIST WITH GREAT CLARITY -- GOD’S PERFECT SACRIFICE FOR THE SINS OF THE WORLD (ALSO SEE ACTS 8:26-40). 

THE PROPHET ISAIAH TELLS US HOW CHRIST THE SERVANT SUFFERED FOR DOING GOD’S WILL WITHOUT ANY SPIRITUAL COMPROMISE, AND THEN WAS HIGHLY EXALTED BY THE FATHER. THAT’S HIS ORDER.

HUMILIATION AND THEN EXALTATION, SUFFERING AND THEN GLORY. LET’S GO THROUGH THIS PASSAGE VERSE BY VERSE. HERE BELOW ARE THE KEY THEMES OF THIS PROPHECY.

Maybe you’ve thought, “Why am I single when all my friends are married?” or “Why can’t we have children when my friend has five children?” or “Why do I have this horrible illness while all of my friends are healthy?”

One day all of our questions will be answered. One day God will restore in Heaven what we’ve lost in this life. The Bible promises restoration for people who have suffered. Speaking of great men and women of faith, a.k.a. world changers, Hebrews 11:35 says, “They placed their hope in a better life after the resurrection” (NLT).

We put all of our focus on this life, but there’s an afterlife, and it will go on forever. This life on Earth, even if it’s long, is relatively short. James 4:14 says, “How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone” (NLT). And then comes the afterlife.

Are you ready for it? For eternity? If you died today (and I am not wishing this for you), would you go to Heaven? Why do you believe what you do on that? 

Living a good life isn’t going to get you to Heaven, because Heaven is not for good people; it’s for forgiven people. I’m not going to get to Heaven because I’m a preacher. Rather, it’s because I’ve put my faith in Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord who died on the cross for me. Have you done that?

Being a Christian is having Jesus Christ come and take residence in your heart. The Bible says, “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12 NKJV). Have you received Christ?

Jesus is the ultimate solution for us all. He forgives freely. God loves you and He still has a good plan. Where else or to who else will you go? He can forgive anyone and raise them from the dead. Did it before and can do it again. Check it out in the Bible.  

Are you hurting today? Pray earnestly. Praise and worship the Lord--ask Him to help you through all this. 

I say pray earnestly for that hurting worried person in need, or for that inquirer.. that he or she might have courage and strength to be victorious in pain, committing himself or herself to Him who bore our griefs and our sorrows.  Spend some time in the Scriptures: Psalm 23 John 14:1–6 Philippians 1:21 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18.

One thing, this means you have some attacks and opposition from the evil one who knows that his time to hassle you is very short. He really doesn't have much time to work.

Where did you get hurt? Please tell me it wasn't in a church with prideful competitive people.. cuz that breaks Christ's heart. Pride is in the enemy's camp, it's not to be in church. Lord, we pray for unity, wisdom and love in spite of others who need to learn not to speak or act carnally.. yes, in spite of others with said faith instead of saving faith.

Ouch.. I just hate church hurt - it’s so unneeded. I like healing from the Lord. I say NO MO, no more to church ouch!! Let’s never cause church hurt of any kind!

It hurts me to see people hurting, scared, in danger, and suffering illness. Have you felt some of that? Some seem so mature in dealing with it. I ain't there yet but want to learn from the One who suffered for me.

Is there anything to gain from pain? Perhaps. Not so sure, but we can grow spiritually and get close to the Lord.. we can even learn from Him. We learn what is really so and what ain’t so during hard times. Remember there is zero spiritual growth apart from the living Word that is completely so (true).

"As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious." 1 Peter 2:2-3

Trials, tribulations, temptations and testings come and go. We can even praise, pray and glorify Him while in it. Now that would seem counterintuitive. How could I?

Remember those who are suffering in hospital rooms or all alone in a dank sorta home. Many don't have any family members or friends left.  

Seems Like There's Lots of Pain In The Pew -- In Too Many Pews. My wife Liney and I lost a son to Covid this year and it seems to take a long while to heal. I hear one never gets completely over it but Romans 8:28-29 is still in His Book.  

God SO loves His kids and He gets it.. totally understands you and He can comfort!

In Pews There Too Sits A Broken Lonely Heart. But In Christ There's Hope for the Hurting. Lost or saved, he can heal. The greatest and most important miracle Jesus still does is to forgive and heal people spiritually. Turn, Trust. Come to Him now. 

Why does God allow us to suffer or go through trials and tribulations?

Hurting today? Do you need some prayer? Got some trials? Have you suffered loss or been abandoned by someone you really trusted? (God, by your Spirit I pray that you will please touch, comfort and bless this reader now).

People feeling hopeless want to find hope today, and I want them to in you. Many feel like they have landed in a deep black hole, but they long to climb out of it. I feel for Christian people dealing with evil opposition or when they are going through a trial! What's been affecting those around me actually affects my me -- emotionally it does, and sometime I feel like fighting back for them. Ever felt like that? Are you in a pressurized situation. Everyone goes through hardships. In this world you and I, believer, will have tribulation said our Lord. Have you been suffering some? So sorry 'bout that!

Jesus had to suffer and die for us? Why? To satisfy the righteous demands of God the Father and to reconcile us to his Father. It didn't feel good. That was His ultimate purpose. The death of Christ at Calvary accomplished redemption, the eternal plan of salvation, and the sacrifice of God the Father's Son made it complete -- bringing forth the infinite and greatest good for us. Because Christ suffered, He understands our suffering and we are never alone or beyond his reach.

I want them to conquer (not in some fleshly, carnal or worldly way), to overcome, to win in every situation for God's glory. I want them through and done with their trail and hurting. God hurts with them and I feel hurt when I am with them too.. yeah, when I see them hurting or harassed. John Stott said, "Our God is a suffering God." Jesus was a man of sorrows or suffering cuz he loved and he loves -- he enters into our suffering.

The Bible says, "If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together." 1 Corinthians 12:26

Going through a trial or a temptation is a confirmation that you are on the right track as a Christian. If you were to voice this, "You know, as a born again Christian I can’t remember the last time I was tempted," I would ask you, "Man, what is wrong with you?" The devil sets his sights on those who are a threat to the kingdom of God.  You shouldn’t be surprised or shocked if you are tempted or tested. 

"Dear friends, don't be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. Instead, be very glad--for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world."

Let's review the basic stuff of trails. Believers have them (more than they want really) and they work for them as the Christian looks to the Lord to meet their needs. Lost unregenerate people have troubles that literally work against them.

Christians are a lot like teabags in a sense; you don’t know what they’re made of until you put them into hot water. And they indeed are in hot water sometimes, but God is glorified through them. Maybe you’re in hot water today. Maybe you’re going through what we might describe as a fiery trial. Ouch! The good news is you are not the first person to go through it, nor will you be the last and you there are not alone in your trial.

One of the most difficult parts of the Christian life is the fact that becoming a disciple of Christ does not make us immune to life’s trials and tribulations. Why would a good and loving God allow us to go through such things as the death of a child, disease and injury to ourselves and our loved ones, financial hardships, worry and fear? Surely, if He loved us, He would take all these things away from us. After all, doesn’t loving us mean He wants our lives to be easy and comfortable? Well, no, it doesn’t. The Bible clearly teaches that God loves those who are His children, and He “works all things together for good” for us (Romans 8:28). So that must mean that the trials and tribulations He allows in our lives are part of the working together of all things for good. Therefore, for the believer, all trials and tribulations must have a divine purpose.

As in all things, God’s ultimate purpose for us is to grow more and more into the image of His Son (Romans 8:29). This is the goal of the Christian, and everything in life, including the trials and tribulations, is designed to enable us to reach that goal.

It is part of the process of sanctification, being set apart for God’s purposes and fitted to live for His glory. The way trials accomplish this is explained in 1 Peter 1:6-7: "In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which perishes, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ." The true believer’s faith will be made sure by the trials we experience so that we can rest in the knowledge that it is real and will last forever.

Trials develop godly character, and that enables us to "rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us” (Romans 5:3-5). Jesus Christ set the perfect example. "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). These verses reveal aspects of His divine purpose for both Jesus Christ’s trials and tribulations and ours. Persevering proves our faith. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).

However, we must be careful never to make excuses for our "trials and tribulations" if they are a result of our own wrongdoing. "By no means let any of you suffer as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or a troublesome meddler" (1 Peter 4:15). God will forgive our sins because the eternal punishment for them has been paid by Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. However, we still have to suffer the natural consequences in this life for our sins and bad choices. But God uses even those sufferings to mold and shape us for His purposes and our ultimate good.

Trials and tribulations come with both a purpose and a reward. "Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.. Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love Him" (James 1:2-4,12).

Through all of life’s trials and tribulations, we have the victory in Christ. "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord, Jesus Christ." Although we are in a spiritual battle, Satan has no authority over the believer in Christ. God has given us His Word to guide us, His Holy Spirit to enable us, and the privilege of coming to Him anywhere, at any time, to pray about anything. Thanks #GotQuestions

It is better to suffer for doing good if you're going to suffer, and newsflash Mr. Christian.. you will. Be ready for it. "Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.." 2 Timothy 3:12. “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you." JC, John 15:18. "But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.." JC, Matthew 5:44.

Today so many Christian believers have been suffering persecution, and it seems like more than before ..huh. Breaks your heart. You see it if you’ve been reading the news lately. I hate hearing about it, and seeing it happen. Don’t want that at all. Something must be said! 

The trials and beheadings happened before. They keep happening and something more must be said and done! I'm grateful for the leaders that are doing something to try and stop the madness. Wanna do my part to help.

This world system and even some governments have sure been friendly to Islam and even this so called rad-islam these days. And to other world religions too, but not been friendly not to Christianity or to Christians. Duh! 

The criminalization of Christianity has been going on for awhile now. Today, the media has been calling it SO wrong and evil, but been calling real felony crimes ..right... even giving a pass to those who have committed many felonies.. and have run for office here in the USA. Duh! People don’t seem to care, or feel they can do anything about the corruption. If you live for and clearly share your faith in Christ, they will call it a hate-crime. 

The Gospel message is exclusive. Any can come to Christ -- all can be included -- but only those who repent and receive Jesus as Lord and Savior will enter heaven.  Jesus explained that He is the only way. Nope.. there is none other name given among men whereby we must be saved. 

Was I expecting other than all this treatment from the world? No. You indeed are living in a sin-cursed fallen world.. livin’ your last days. I am too -- life here is like a vapor and then we’re gone. Perhaps these really are the Last Days. 

What picture comes to mind when you hear: Take Up Your Cross bro, and 100% Follow Jesus? Is it a pic of goin' the distance and dying to self? The Bible says, "Then Jesus told his disciples, 'If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?'” Matthew 16:24-26

Suffering isn’t something I like, I don’t seek it. If I did, I’d be weird. If you did, you would too be that way. Some religious people teach.. you must choose to intentionally suffer. That’s dumb, but since I chose to follow Christ, then I obviously have chosen a life with suffering in it. He suffered and died for you and me, therefore we too will suffer in Him. It’s still so worth it to follow Jesus, so take up your cross and follow Him where He leads you. You’ll be so glad you did.  

Counter cultural, that’s what it really is..I mean living and walkin' no-compromise (spiritually) in Him down here. Every viewpoint and type of worship on earth here is tolerated and even celebrated today.. except the biblical Christian viewpoint and the worship of God. The family is under attack, the local church is, and your faith, believer, is too.. but God gives more grace. Have you noticed that more and more local churches ..even the ones with really good teaching.. that don't allow true worship to happen are getting shoved aside as believers bail on em? I don't think that the sound Bible teaching should get shoved out on radio stations as people hunger more and more for praise and worship, but this too is a sign of the times -- these times of increased suffering pre-rapture. We need both, but I must admit.. I too some years ago bailed on a church that had top notch teaching but wouldn't allow fresh biblical praise and worship of Jesus.. together as a Family. That's what heaven will be all about. Worship is not about one; it’s about many. In an age when Christians are dropping out of church and shunning weekend teaching services, we’re kind of in danger of becoming individualistic worshipers. People sometimes tell me: I don’t have to come to church to worship. I can walk along the beach, or hike in the mountains, or—some have told me this—I worship on the golf course. Oh yeah, well, wait it you miss a shot out there. David Jeremiah says, "The worship John saw in heaven was united, corporate worship. In fact, in the entire book of Revelation, the only time there is any independent worship is when John periodically fell down and worshiped God in light of the incredible visions he received. All the other worship in Revelation involves vast groups whose hearts are bound together in praise, such as:

• Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!” —Revelation 5:11-12
• And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps. Get the picture? If choirs and orchestras can elevate us to such heights of enjoyment here on this earth, what will it be like when we hear the celestial choirs, accompanied by heaven-trained orchestras, lifting praise to Almighty God around the throne?"     

I say it's gettin' intense out there and believers have been suffering. Fierce trials! Please don't think this stuff ain't gunna happen. Many are losing a lot -- even their lives. It's time to fast and pray as the Spirit leads. It's time to praise and worship.. the Lord. It's time for planting sound churches with Bible teaching and all out worship. It's time for hangin' out with world changers and then for world-changing ..in Jesus' Name!

Be born again and stay the course. Shine your light and be salty. Spread your salt, but do this with respect for people.. with meekness, with reverence and holy fear. In heaven you’re never gunna look back and feel bad about what you lost by standing firm in Christ. So call on Him for grace and endure to the end. He who endures to the end will be saved. Don’t quit.
