The sky is blue, God is true, His Gospel Message is simple.. and surely we can agree on the very basics of life. Sure, of what's 100% so. Right? (Part 3)

Let's choose to love what's so -- what is 100% true.

Stay in the Word. I don't want to try to add to, or take away from, or rewrite some or any of the Bible. Why would someone be so stupid? Nothing compares, but we can speak truth that agrees with the word every day, and we can opt not to speak what goes against what the Bible teaches.

Do you ever ask yourself what reflects some of the themes found throughout God's Word like:

  • Psalm 19:1 — "The heavens declare the glory of God."
  • Isaiah 40:8 — "The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever."
  • Proverbs 16:18 — "Pride goes before destruction..."
  • James 4:6 — "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."
  • Romans 6:23 — "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
  • John 1:5 — "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."
  • Colossians 3:17 — "Whatever you do... do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus."
  • Philippians 2:10–11 — Every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

"The truth never fears investigation." — Attributed to John MacArthur (this wording is widely attributed to him).

"A Bible that's falling apart usually belongs to someone who isn't." — Anon.
