Why live merely for beautiful things or places when you could be knowing intimately, daily pleasing, and living for the most beautiful Person?

Am talking about a relationship here, not stiff religion! Uhhh ya, about the most beautiful personality in all the universes. Jesus is very knowable and it He ain’t some puffed up religious loser like Mr. Lu-Cifer is. Everyone and all else is far lesser in every way than Christ who is almighty God!

Perhaps you've noticed.. what’s beautiful by first outward appearance here ain’t always so beautiful. Careful, Sport.  

Didn’t.. and doesn’t Satan masquerade as a beautiful angel of light? He loves to mimic God. He's a poser, and a counterfeiter.. who is goin' down! Into that lake you don't want to go to. He’s now a arrogant fallen angel.  Don’t waste your time with him and all his lies.  How can there sometimes be a beautiful side to evil? 

In the Bible, light is a spiritual metaphor for truth and God’s unchanging nature (James 1:17). It is repeatedly used in the Bible to help us understand that God is wholly good and truthful (1 John 1:5). When we are “in the light,” we are with Him (1 Peter 2:9). He exhorts us to join Him in the light (1 John 1:7), for giving us light was His purpose (John 12:46). Light is the place where love dwells and is comfortable (1 John 2:9-10). God has created light (Genesis 1:3), dwells in the light (1 Timothy 6:16) and puts the light in human hearts so that we can see and know Him and understand truth (2 Corinthians 4:6).

So, when 2 Corinthians 11:14 tells us that “Satan disguises himself as an angel of light,” it means that Satan capitalizes on our love of beautiful light in order to deceive us. He is the father of lies actually and he wants us to think that he is good, truthful, loving, and powerful – all the things that God is. To portray himself as a dark, devilish being with horns would not be very appealing to the majority of people. Most people are not drawn to darkness, but to boatful light. Therefore, Satan appears as a creature of light to draw us to himself and his lies.

Are you a day person or a night person? I have some friends that are of the day and other friends that have chosen to be of the night.

Some people today are early risers like my dad is. They do their best work in the morning hours it seems. Others are night owls (like I am, and my grandfather was), who prefer to sleep in and stay up late to say watch world news. 

The Bible also talks about people of the day and of the night (in a different sort of way), but the biblical description has eternal significance.

A person of the day stops will all self justification cuz that sort of thing is of the darkness and of hiding personal sins. Repentance and biblical faith in Christ are now apart of their lives. He knows it all anyways, so why not bring it all to him early so he can help out. 

We love his appearing too -- we long to see Jesus face to face cuz there is not more beautiful person in all the universe. We will see Christ at the time of the Rapture it happens before we die (if we are born again spiritually), or at the time of the Second Coming (if we put it off, and are not). 

“But you, brothers, are not in the darkness so that this day should overtake you like a thief. For you are all sons of the light and sons of the day; we do not belong to the night or to the darkness. So then, let us not sleep as the others do, but let us remain awake and sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night; and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. 8But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and the helmet of our hope of salvation. For God has not appointed us to suffer wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. Believers, let’s say cuz you’ve been witnessing by life and words effectively among those friends you care about, and then you get put out on the island of Patmos all alone..... like happened to the Apostle John (where he wrote the book of Revelation), well guess what.. you don’t lack fellowship there. And God is still in control of your life.  

"I, John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ." Rev. 1:9

Who is this Satan dweeb, this Devil among demons, this Prince of Darkness?

We can know some stuff about the dweeb, but let’s stay focused on Christ primarily not on that loser. 

Jesus is the one who loves us -- our first love that we have relationship with. 

Seems like Mr. Lu-Cifer (aka Satan) gets blamed for almost everything or he’s ignored as if he doesn’t exist. You know, he goes by many names—the Devil (Matt 5:1), Belial (2 Cor 6:15), Beelzebul (Matt 10:25)—and that basically describe his personal character.

So when we see names like The Evil One (Matt 13:19), the Prince of the power of the air (Eph 2:2), the god of this present age (2 Cor 4:4), the Father of Lies (John 8), the great accuser, Satan (Job 1:6): they tell us what he’s like. 

Satan is also called the God of this world (2 Cor. 4:4) and the Prince of the Power of the Air (Eph. 2:2). Remember when he promise the kingdoms of the world as he was tempting Jesus Christ (Matt 4:8), it would appear that he has only limited authority in this world system, for a very limited time (Col 2:15)—and that when God allows or like in disciplinary situations (1 Cor 5:5; 1 Tim 1:20).

Although named the Prince of Darkness (Eph 6:12) while holding a throne in several cities (Rev 2:13; Dan 10:13) and being a so called ruler over a kingdom of darkness, the nations of the world are not at his beck and call; he needs to deceive them for them to act (Rev 20:1-3).  

Though cast from heaven down here to roam on the earth, he seems to have the authority to enter into the presence of God to bring accusations (Job 1:6-12; 2:1-7; Rev 12:10); then he can be shut down while offering the prosecution (Zech 3:1-2). His position is that of an adversary (that’s what Satan means), or if you will, the Prosecution (Job 1:6). 

God loves you today and has a wonderful plan for your life. Still does -- he made you. The Devil (a fallen angel) hates you and has a horrible plan for your life. 

Jesus said, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." John 10:10

He was created as a guardian cherub. So, was this Lucifer the worship leader in heaven before he was basically thrown out to earth? Perhaps he was.

In Ezekiel 28:11 the Bible says that Lucifer was adorned with musical instruments and jewels. And Isaiah 14:11 says that Lucifer made noise with those instruments. There are no direct references in the Scriptures that tell us he played music or was the worship leader. To me it would appear that he involved in worship.

"Musical instruments were originally designed to be means of praising and worshiping God. It was not necessary for Lucifer to learn to play a musical instrument to praise God. If you please, he had a built-in pipe organ, or, he was an organ... Lucifer didn’t have to look for someone to play the organ so that he could sing the doxology--He was a doxology." ~ J. Please know that Jesus is not at all the opposite of Satan; Michael more likely would be.

The Mormons (cultists) would make Him a cherub and the spirit-brother of Lucifer. That's false, but to them.. Lucifer was the anointed cherub and they reduce Jesus. "And being a brother of Lucifer, when God wanted to redeem the world, God supposedly called for these two brothers to offer up their plans of redemption. And when they did offered their plans of redemption, the Father chose the plan that Jesus offered. And this made His brother, Lucifer, very angry. He came down and was determined to disrupt the plan of his brother, Jesus, through sibling rivalry. We will learn that Jesus is much higher than Lucifer. In fact, He is not an opposite to Lucifer at all. He's not the good angel and Lucifer the bad angel, or the good brother and Lucifer the bad brother. It's terrible to bring Lucifer to that elevation of an opposite of God or an opposite of Jesus. So many times we think of them, God and Satan, as opposites. Not at all. They are totally in different categories completely. God--self-existent, eternal, Creator; whereas Satan is a creation of God and does not come into the same category at all as God. Lucifer would be an opposite to Michael, the archangel, and they're going to be tussling. They've tussled in the past. They've tussled over the body of Moses. There was a big dispute between Michael and Lucifer over the body of Moses. Michael didn't bring a railing accusation against him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you" (Jude 9).

When the angel was sent to Daniel with a message from God, and Satan captured the angel and held him captive, Michael came and set him free. [Note: Daniel 10:12-14] "That great Prince came and he set me free. I've come now to bring you the message," the angel told Daniel. Michael and Satan have come into conflict before, and in the book of Revelation they're going to come into conflict again. Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon and his angels.

Jesus is not the opposite of Satan; Michael would be. Jesus, again, is the express image of the person of God. He is the off-shining of the glory of God. He is that which we see of God.

So he was made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, [that is, did God say,] Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? (Hbr 1:4-5)

Psalm 2:7 God declared of Him, "Thou art my Son, this day hath I begotten thee." God could never say that of Lucifer. God would never say that of Michael. It was said only of Jesus Christ. "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son" (John 3:16). "Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee."

I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? (Hbr 1:5)

Mr Lu-Ciiiifer (that's I call him) was indeed made a beautiful angel, but he became so impressed with his own incredible beauty, intelligence, power, and position that he began to desire for himself the honor and glory that belonged to God alone. Yes, he got so puffed up inside that he started lusting after God’s possession at the very top.  And this pride represents the actual beginning of sin in the universe—preceding the fall of the human Adam by an indeterminate time." So interesting are the five selfish “I wills” we see in Isaiah 14 indicate an element of pride, which was also evidenced in Ezekiel 28:17 (1 Timothy 3:6 which makes reference to Satan’s puffed up conceit).

As a result of this hubris and subsequent heinous sin of rebellion against God, Lucifer was banished from living in heaven (Isaiah 14:12). He became corrupt, and his name changed from Lucifer (“morning star”) to Satan (“adversary”). His power became completely perverted (Isaiah 14:12,16,17). And his destiny, following the second coming of Christ, is to be bound in a pit during the 1000-year millennial kingdom over which Christ will rule (Revelation 20:3), and eventually will be thrown into the lake of fire (Matthew 25:41).

Want more on this? So how, why, and when did Satan fall from heaven?

Satan’s so called fall from heaven is symbolically described in Isaiah 14:12-14 and Ezekiel 28:12-18. While these two passages are referring specifically to the kings of Babylon and Tyre, they also reference the spiritual power behind those kings, namely, Satan. These passages describe why Satan fell, but they do not specifically say when the fall occurred. What we do know is this: the angels were created before the earth (Job 38:4-7). Satan fell before he tempted Adam and Eve in the Garden (Genesis 3:1-14). Satan’s fall, therefore, must have occurred somewhere after the time the angels were created and before he tempted Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Whether Satan’s fall occurred hours, days, or years before he tempted Adam and Eve in the Garden, Scripture does not specifically say.

The book of Job tells us, at least at that time, Satan still had access to heaven and to the throne of God. “One day the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them. The LORD said to Satan, ’Where have you come from?’ Satan answered the LORD, ‘From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it’” (Job 1:6-7). Apparently at that time, Satan was still moving freely between heaven and earth, speaking to God directly and answering for his activities. Whether God has discontinued this access is a matter of debate. Some say Satan's access to heaven was ended at the death of Christ. Others believe Satan's access to heaven will be ended at the end times war in heaven. Why did Satan fall from heaven? Satan so called fell because of pride. 

He desired to be God, not to be a servant of God. Notice the many “I will...” statements in Isaiah 14:12-15. Ezekiel 28:12-15 describes Satan as an exceedingly beautiful angel. Satan was likely the highest of all angels, the anointed cherub, the most beautiful of all of God's creations, but he was not content in his position. Instead, Satan desired to be God, to essentially “kick God off His throne” and take over the rule of the universe. Satan wanted to be God, and interestingly enough, that is essentially what Satan tempted Adam and Eve with in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:1-5). How did Satan fall from heaven? Actually, a fall is not an accurate description. It would be far more accurate to say God cast Satan out of heaven (Isaiah 14:15; Ezekiel 28:16-17). Satan did not fall from heaven; rather, Satan was basically pushed out. He really deserved it.

It’s when you have your priorities right, believer. Sure, it's when you totally live for, yes when you all out worship the living God alone ..who SO loves you. I mean with no spiritual compromise of any sort. 

But there is nothing that hacks the enemy off more, there is nothing that the evil one (Satan) hates more than your time alone with, than your intimacy with and daily closeness to the Lord – I mean our Bible Jesus and honest relationship with Him. What bugs the one who tried his best to dethrone Him and then got chucked out of heaven? 

It’s when we praise.. it’s when we prayerfully serve the Lord, it’s when we obey Him in giving, in walkin’ with love, it’s when we worship (that’s SO rad-important), it’s when we’re explaining and tellin’ others the truth about Christ. Yeah, guess what..  it makes an impact on the hearers, and then those people with His love go make an impact other people.

Connect vertically and then horizontally. Today is good. This season is good for that. 
Take time for and connect with individuals, not just with groups. Love individuals well, not just groups well.. not love TV cameras. 
When you connect with individuals, guess what.. you can glorify the Lord and subsequently gain the attention of crowds. Boys, girls, adult singles, moms and dads.. Jesus wisely won the hearts of people of different backgrounds with the truth.. one by one.

Will You Serve Christ Or A Liar?

We here in Texas (my family) are doing well this month. Blessed and ready to go with the Gospel! Thanks for the prayers. It's no time to quit or be distracted; it's time to be encouraged in the Lord, to be on-fire and to fight the good fight of faith in righteousness! We have peace, have joy, have Jesus and now pray God's will be done in this Land! Too many still don't.

Who are you going to serve today on October 31st (..or during everyday in your future for that matter)? Will it be Christ or a liar? Will you influence others in a positive way for Jesus (by your good attitude, good deeds, good example and by sharing the Gospel with others) or influence others in a negative way? It's a no-brainer Who we should serve.. huh. One to serve is very honest and kind and the other one is a deceiver (the devil, who is out to totally trash you and all that you hold dear).

Satan has been around a long time studying the gullibility, weaknesses and life-patterns of people ..and he knows how to deceive them. He’s a very cunning and clever liar because he can make his lies sound like the truth. In fact he likes to mix God’s truth with his poisonous lies (we’ve unfortunately also seen many ministers even within Christendom and some political leaders do this). That’s why we must be filled with Christ’s Spirit, with faith and with discernment today.

Are you filled with faith, with the Holy Spirit and a desire to help people? If so you are a threat to Hell. Yes, Satan is wanting to throw-down and take you out ..permanently! He has a goal to rearrange your thought processes in order to get you to doubt God. But Christ is our victory today and you can know Him in a personal and meaningful way ..not just know about Him.
