Are you a strong world changer like Abraham was, or a compromiser being changed by the world.. like Lot sadly was? Man, the guy ended up sleepin’ with his daughters!
I love the Bible -- it’s so honest. Every book and verse. I love His church as well.
Choose to live spiritually red-hot in Christ as his rep in the world. Use what ya got. Let him use you to change the world where you are. Ya, start where you are, believer.
If you have a passion for Jesus Christ, then guess what.. you'll also have a passion for His flawed church and for the word as well. Love him most, and love his bride. We pray for our church and leaders until we're all spiritually healthy, no compromise. Not dead, lukewarm, cold or religious -- let's live 100% for Him.
Sometimes people here in Dallas tell me that people die and become angels. I've done some funerals. What? Where did they get that from? It never happens, nor do they become animals like my cool dog. No karma or reincarnation. You don't come back here during the millenium.. other than you are, believer. You be you just like God made you.
Q. Why do they always say of ladies.. they are.. or look like angels? Really? Nothin’ against either really, but in the Bible angels are always dudes. Don’t ask me why. I wouldn’t have been sad it they were. God must have his reasons. Knows better than me.
Choose to live fruitful with a healthy local church and with your gift. Sadly there are still some doctrinally sick and dead churches. Avoid. Personally, I’ve never heard a sermon at a healthy church where I didn’t get anything good out of it....but I’ve had some really close calls. Preach, teach through.. the word.
Got a gift, believer? Use it. Giftedness has to do with giving to people.
There are three groupings of em. Speaking gifts, sign gifts (considered controversial among many people), and then service gifts. You know like.. helps or administrating. I wanna help people, Lord!
To each...to both men and women.. are given the manifestation of the Spirit in this world. To be dissatisfied with your gift is to be dissatisfied with God. Be content with Jesus as Lord and with the gift he gave you. Accept and wisely use it. Why bury it?
Be a “100-percenter” not some 75 percenter. Give everything you have to Him first, the sin (confess, abandon) and all that you are. Yep, and for serving the Lord in every circumstance in front of you. Know Him well. Yes, hear from him well in the Word.. and serve Him well.. in that order. That’s what happens when you’re spiritually well.
Well can beget well. Jesus thinks and lives well and he can heal people. Sick people can beget others that are sick in different ways. Don't be spiritually sick.
What are you doing well for others.. to build up, encourage and equip em, believer? To help em get well by knowing the Lord well?
If your motivation as a Christian or for leading is to be served rather than to serve others, you’re headed for trouble, Sport.
Stop lording over people; start listening to them, stop role-playing for advancement; start wisely risking some for the benefit of others. Stop seeking your own way; stop only being interested in stuff for you and in you. Might not always feel like it, but start selflessly serving others. Jesus did that.
See things as they really are, wisely work from there. Believer, biblical thinking as a realist will help you do everything better than merely negative thinking will. That’s basic. Didn't originate from me. It’s how it is. Lord, please help me love you, your people and your Scriptures far more! Today, how do I wisely apply em for your glory?
