F4S: It's a new day for progressing in our own lane. Walk well, run well and finish well.

It's a new day for progressing in our own lane. Walk well, run well and finish well.

“Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him.” —2 Corinthians 5:9

“Great is the art of beginning, but greater the art is of ending.” ~  Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

It’s no time now to self-destruct or implode. It’s not the time to crash and burn spiritually. Remember how Sampson did that -- the he-man with a she-weakness.

One day, your life will be summed up in a mere paragraph on a program that will be handed out at your memorial service. When that day comes, no one will care about how high you climbed in your profession. No one will care about what kind of car you drove or how much money you made. Rather, they will talk about what kind of person you were.

One day, your life will be summed up represented by a simple dash in between two dates on a tombstone. What we each do during that dash is so important.

Let’s allow Christ be Lord of all.. not just in theory. God wants you to be a spiritual success all the way through.. and impact those in this world via prayer, his love in you, and His Gospel message.

He said, “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live” (Deuteronomy 30:19 NKJV). Fish4souls.org

Don’t just run to run. Why do that? Run your race to win. Believer, you started well.. right?.. now finish well
