It’s not too late to get the doubt out and see it happen. Let’s live to see things changed. Have faith in God! Let’s all pray and see it again.
Haven’t we basically gotten to the end of what man can do to help here? So many hopeless people today! Is that you?
When you get to end of what man can do, you basically get to the beginning of what God can do in your life. And He delights to rescue, to revive, to awaken what’s dead (people, ministries etc), to heal, to comfort, to mend and to restore. Sure, coming to the end of yourself can be a good thang! Just believe.
This goes along with what my former So Cal pastor, Chuck Smith, used to say: “When the outlook ain’t so good, good, try the uplook.”
Listen, if you put your hope in this world... that's merely hope misplaced.
Real hope that doesn’t disappoint can make a comeback during our lifetime. So put it in Christ who is indeed at work here -- He’s still our living hope. Doesn’t change. You know He can and will restore all things!
Restoration - right here, and right where you live too. Before the millenium for real? Yeah, it can happen. It starts with you and me turning (repentance) and trusting Jesus (believing).
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear..” 2 Chronicles 7:14
Permit me if ya will to challenge your thinking and praying some. Will you ask God for a new outpouring. Will you ask Him to use you? Will you join me in praying for God to send a biblical revival and an authentic spiritual awakening? Talkin’ about a fifth one here. He’s done it before. I dare you to if I may.
“Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?” Psalm 85:6
“I have a theory…that there is not a church, chapel, or mission on earth where you cannot have revival, provided there is a little nucleus of faithful people who will hold onto God until He comes down.
First, Let a few Christians – there need not be many – get thoroughly right with God themselves. This is the prime essential. If this is not done, the rest I am going to say will come to nothing.
Second, let them bind themselves together in prayer groups to pray for revival until God opens the heavens and comes down.
Third, let them put themselves at the disposal of God for Him to use them as He sees fit in the winning of others to Christ.
That is all. This is sure to bring revival to any church or any community. I have given this prescription around the world. It has been taken by many churches and many communities, and in no instance has it ever failed, and it cannot fail.” – R.A. Torrey

I say this.. as you wisely apply Matthew 6:33, just listen to God for 15 minutes each day. Communicate with God for 15 minutes. As an overflow from this vital relationship, go share the living word of God with people for 15 minutes each day as well.. and you will never backslide. You can grow spiritually, but not independent from the word of God!
Billy Sunday was once given a three-point prescription for keepin’ yourself in the love of God where ya will stay obedient and blessable. Billy was basically challenged to do this. Spend some time hanging out with God first, with growing godly believers too (edify em), and even with sinners (but limit your time with them and carnal or worldly believers so they don’t pull you down.) If they are open minded for truth and God’s grace, tactfully share the word with them. And if they are closed earnestly pray for them. Here’s how you can tell. If their palm goes up in front of your face when you start telling your story or verses, you’ll know they don’t want to hear and are closed to it.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
Have you been alone and lonely, hopeless, or feelin’ empty inside, numb, afraid, guilty (I mean with false guilt or guilt from being guilty after doing what offends God). Have you felt overlooked, forgotten, ignored and of no value, or perhaps insignificant? Christ is our ultimate solution of life. Come to.. or come back to Jesus now.
The Bible says, “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God [which represents all that Jesus Christ is and does], so that you will know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that you [already] have eternal life.” 1 John 5:13 amp
Are you not sure where you stand with God. Do you have an assurance of salvation inside? You can today!

Would you decide and pray something like this...
“Restore us, O Lord God of hosts! Let your face shine, that we may be saved!” Psalm 80:19
So much hopelessness in our day! Is that how you’ve been? Listen, everything...yes, everything is a little thing to God. The nations are like a small drop in the bucket. For God the word “difficulty” is not in his vocabulary. He can restore your life and nation. He can pour out of His Spirit -- He can send a fifth great awakening here. Have you had difficulty with providence. Please don’t view the viciousness, and bitter harshness of this life here as God’s current indifference, apathy or lack of love your you. Jesus loves you! Behind His apparent scowl or frown and mean providence is God’s kind face. Follow Christ, you’ll see it. Even when we don’t see God’s purposes of restoration for our time and people, they are there and God is still working in the earth. You can be filled.. and refilled. Your towns, cities and nation can all be restored!
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8

What is necessary for the triumph of evil in our cities and Land? This.. it’ll indeed happen when righteous men, women, boys and girls just kick back and say zip.. when they do nothing. Passivity due to lack of love. Prayerlessness, and foolish or non acting right.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

Some Christians only like to talk about the good old days when God moved -- real past revivals like of the 60′s and 70′s etc. Personally, I’m so glad it happened and that I could taste of it (though not all so called church revivals since then have been reviving). It's time to see God move again in our day. It starts with you and me being revived. Awaken from your sleep.
Factoid: Past experience is only of real value as it is translated into a wise present day application of truth and your close relationship with Christ. Now matters. Today matters, you matter and those around you matter!
Be a relentless intercessor. Not religious, not a hireling or worldling.
If you try to be what God has NOT called you to be.. it'll end in failure. Who at times hasn't tried to be what God hasn't called them to be? Personally, I’ve been there, and done that. So fruitless. Believer, we each can only be what God has called us to be and yet all can earnestly pray.
So, what has God called you to be and do? Have you asked lately? What do I mean? I mean that you and I become fruitful, a part of the solution, rather than a part of the problem here. Too many have opted for that.
Be a part, wait on the Lord to hear, and do your part.
In order for there to be a fifth great awakening sweeping through our Land, true repentance and a biblical revival needs to sweep through His church.
You know deep down in your knower.. that our world needs the Christ of the Bible most! What else can rescue when things have gone so crazy?

Interesting. Think about that for a moment! Two-thirds of the prophet’s message was negative.
Tell both the bad news (name the specific sins that are happening. Say STOP IT, and change. All have sinned and can repent--there is a real place called hell to avoid, to ditch on past to Christs). And in love preach the Good News as well ..for decisions. You know to glorify the Lord!
Choosing to keep silent in the face of evil is itself.. evil. Duh! God will not hold us guiltless, believers.
