What's up with knockin'? Sup with new opportunities and my responses to em?

Sup with doors

Thank you, God, for closing the doors that I'm not strong enough to close, and for opening the right doors that I'm not strong enough to open.

Not always easy to choose. So many doors at times -- ones I am not wise enough, rich enough, talented enough, rightly educated enough, muscular enough, young or handsome or outwardly beautiful enough to open up. But You keep opening the doors you lead me to knock on -- doors You want me on purpose to go through. Sometimes they open before I even ask or knock.

Thanks for leading me in Your will by Your kind Spirit.. wisely showin' which nice lookin’ doors I need to pass on by, the doors that are the wrong for me to even stop at. And for showin' which doors are the right ones for me.. cuz You know I really don't want to waste any time with some battering ram or with knockin' on those wrong doors until my stubborn knuckles hurt due to injury. Been there, done that before.

Revelation 3:7-8 - “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write:He who is holy, who is true, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, and who shuts and no one opens, says this: ‘I know your deeds. Behold, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name."

Revelation 3:20B - “..If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” Enjoy fellowship upwards and then outwards!

Matthew 7:7-8 - “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.”

Isaiah 22:22 - “Then I will set the key of the house of David on his shoulder,
When he opens no one will shut, when he shuts no one will open."

1 Corinthians 16:9 - “..for a wide door for effective service has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.”

2 Corinthians 2:12 - “Now when I came to Troas for the gospel of Christ and when a door was opened for me in the Lord,”

Isaiah 45:1 - “Thus says the Lord to Cyrus His anointed,
Whom I have taken by the right hand,
To subdue nations before him
And to loose the loins of kings;
To open doors before him so that gates will not be shut..”

Colossians 4:3 - “At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison..”

John 10:9 - “I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.”

Acts 14:27 - “And when they arrived and gathered the church together, they declared all that God had done with them, and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles.”

Matthew 6:6 - “But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”

Do you have there before you an open door, or Someone knocking on a closed one (Chirst dealing with your hard heart), or do you need God to open a door of opportunity for you?

It's a good day to discern what's good. The Lord sees better than our eyes see. He sees His future for you. Sure, and like when it comes to hearts, and leaders, and doors, and wonderful stuff for us to go do. You know that's true!

"But the Lord said to Samuel, 'Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.'" 1 Samuel 16:7 amp

For several years starting when I was in Dallas for college during the 80s, I gained a good income from a company called Hilton, but about a year ago Covid hit and they furloughed 940 employees that I know and I was one of them. It was nice having a paid vacation where I could travel and do SUP-boarding on the sea and these big lakes where I live. But then I heard from some other big companies that wanted me after knockin' on some doors, and was hired with better pay this month. I always heard, when God takes away one career, it's cuz he's got something better for you. When God closes one daor, it's because He has another one He wants to open for you. And that doesn't always mean you won't need to seek, ask, or knock any. I've actually been blessed to work fulltime as a pastor in big and small Christian churches in Europe and the USA, and at different times with three of the most upscale hotel groups in Dallas Texas. Been lots of fun really -- I'm grateful.

I pray that you'll go back to God for the details of where and how He wants to lead you. Ask. I pray that God tenderly guides you today, that He fills you to overflowing, and gives you a fresh new direction that your heart will love, and an anointing inside. To praise and obey Him. Yes a red-hot soulwinning, discipling passion -- a good ministry opportunity. I pray God gives you an open door to go through with JOY. To enter in. I say we all-out worship Jesus non-stop foreverrrr!

1. What did Jesus mean when He said, “I stand at the door and knock..” (Revelation 3:20)? What is the meaning of Revelation 3:20 and can the truth of it be wisely applied in our day? Have you yet turned (repented), trusted (believed) and invited (decided and asked) Christ into your heart to be Savior and Lord

2. Okay good, and what did Jesus mean when He said “I am the door” (John 10:7)? How is Jesus the door for the sheep?

3. What are the keys of the kingdom? What is the real meaning of Matthew 16:19 and what am I even supposed to know or do with that?

4. What was Jesus’ message to the church in Philadelphia in Revelation? Why did the church in Philadelphia receive a direct message from the Lord?

5. What is truth -- man, how am I supposed to live open to God's love, grace and Bible truth? Living closed-minded or with a closed hard heart is so lame, boring and overrated. Back in the day what did Pontius Pilate mean when he asked Jesus 'What is truth' and how does that relate? Fish4souls.org

According to Paul, “Get back, get back
Get back to where you once belonged
Get back, get back
Get back to where you once belonged
Get back, Jojo!”

Okay, so that was Paul McCartney, but still good for you.

Get to the Door. Open the door of your heart and let Him in. Get to..or back to the Lord

There are many different big and small churches here in Dallas where I live, that will tell you Jesus Christ is absolutely necessary for eternal salvation -- this is a religious city, perhaps like your’s is.

It's called the buckle on the Bible Belt -- this town. Far from a perfect place cuz religious people and other flawed humans like me live here

But not all of these churches here will tell you that Jesus Christ is enough for salvation, or that he's the only way for you to gain His salvation along with free forgiveness and a right relationship with your Father God in heaven. You were born to worship the Lord and enjoy fellowship with Him and other honest growing believers.

Some churches and religious leaders will even tell you that you need God the Father only, or lots of good works of love, or good energy inside creating a pleasant vibe, but I am here to tell you that Jesus Christ is thee way for you, He is not religious but needed by you, and He is enough

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.“ Acts 4:12

He’s the door for you, enter in. Now is good.

We’ve all blown it with wrong-doin’s at times (sin), but we still have time to turn, to trust. to simply believe and then to help our friends. You were created by the Lord to know God in an intimate personal way—to have a satisfying meaningful relationship with Him, through His dear Son, Jesus Christ. So fulfilling. The world can’t give this to you and nowhere can you purchase all this.

Lots of people get all excited when I tell them were they can score an excellent wholesale deal on something really valuable, like they can in many secret places here in Dallas. I know where they all are. All of these places. With sub-wholesale prices or wonderful things needed or longed for at a wholesale price. When I tell them, they say Wow Kurt, that’s good news. Thank you..and it is. I like to point people towards what’s good, awesome and excellent, not towards junk or what’s lame. Listen, your salvation was very costly to God. He purchased it at great price for you on the cross (in love Jesus did), but obtaining this is not costly for you at all and that’s why it’s good news! It’s the best of good news. No fake or religious news!  Jesus stands and the door of your heart and patiently knocks. Waiting for your response -- won't force any to do anything. Open!
