P r a y .. n .. obey .. n .. just stay in will of God, for there's no other way to be happy in Jesus. O k a y?

"On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords." Revelation 19:16

Take your time, relax, yeah pause in His presence.. breathe in deep, give thanks, offer up praise.. and enjoy your time with Jesus the Intercessor. Just pour out your heart to Him and he will give you strong grace to get through it all. And enjoy it as you lift up your friends, towns, leaders, nation and those in other Lands as well. Bless His Name -- our first priority ministry is unto the Lord. You were made for the praise of His glory! God will be please and reward you as you put Him first. (Matthew 6:33-34)

When we become too glib in prayer we are most surely talking to ourselves. ~ A.W. Tozer

There is neither encouragement nor room in Bible religion for feeble desires, listless efforts, lazy attitudes; all must be strenuous, urgent, ardent. Flamed desires, impassioned, unwearied insistence delight heaven. God would have His children incorrigibly in earnest and persistently bold in their efforts. Heaven is too busy to listen to half-hearted prayers or to respond to pop-calls. Our whole being must be in our praying. ~ E.M. Bounds

God loves importunate prayer so much that He will not give us much blessing without it. ~ Adoniram Judson

Don't just say prayers.. pray, Buckeroo. Yeah, like ya mean it cuz you really do! The Bible says...

"..praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak." Eph. 6:18-20

The devil saw me walkin' with my head down and got all excited until I looked up... and said Amen. Hah!

Our Lord and our King, we come as Your servants to ask that Your Kingdom come, Your will be done....

O Lord, the fire and hail, snow and clouds, wind and weather obey You...
Commander of the winds and clouds have mercy on our country. Hurricane Isaias, the Derecho winds, the raging fires have brought great loss. Protect our lives and those who protect us, comfort those who have lost much. Restore our land. (Psalm 148:8; Exodus 10:19; Isaiah 49:13; Psalm 85:1).

Ruler of all the kingdoms of the earth, no one can stand against you!...
The coronavirus continues to kill and cause much pain. Individuals and families struggle to deal with massive changes and uncertainties in life, work, and school. We are powerless against it, but we look to You for the help only You can give. Please, stop the chaos, the riots, the lying politicians and this virus! (2 Chronicles 20:6; 12).

We can do nothing without prayer. All things can be done by importunate prayer. It surmounts or removes all obstacles, overcomes every resisting force and gains its ends in the face of invincible hindrances. ~ E.M. Bounds (read more on this)

Prayer is the link that connects us with God. ~ A.B. Simpson

O, let the place of secret prayer become to me the most beloved spot on earth. ~ Andrew Murray

God of all grace, extend Your grace to students and their families as they cope with evolving guidelines...

Help parents to manage children at home with online classes, especially those with more than one child in different grades, and those with limited space. Enable parents working from home to find ways to manage these multiple responsibilities. (1 Peter 5:10) Continue with personal prayer...
Lord of peace, bring an end to the criminal violence that continues to invade peaceful demonstrations...

Murder rates rise and police are quitting at a time when they are most needed—some in top positions. Conflict perseveres in many communities over defunding police while the need to maintain order grows. Bring Your peace to our communities. (2 Thessalonians 3:16)

Know your HOLY GOD intimately. (When you have seen His glory, His holiness and His love – by drawing close to Him in prayer – then you can usually see through any counterfeits because you know the “real thing” so well). ~ Andrew Strom

How different the world would look, how different the state of our nation would be, if there were more sanctified priestly souls! These are souls who have the power to bless, for they intercede with sanctified hearts. They never begin their daily time of intercessory prayer without having first brought to the cross all that is unholy in their lives, so that their old self can be crucified there with Jesus, the sacrificial Lamb. ~ Basilea Schlink

A prayerless church member is a hindrance. He is in the body like a rotting bone or a decayed tooth. Before long, since he does not contribute to the benefit of his brethren, he will become a danger and a sorrow to them. Neglect of private prayer is the locust which devours the strength of the church. ~ Charles H. Spurgeon

Faithful God, hear our prayer on behalf of the many who are out of work...
Though people want to work—need to work—because of this pandemic, millions have no job. Help them to find a way to support themselves and their families. May those who are hungry find food, and those facing eviction find a place to live. (See 2 Thessalonians 3:10; Psalm 90:17)

God our Savior, we come to You on behalf of the lost, of those far from You...

As we pray, we realize many who are facing these issues are lost, have not been born again. Because You have said You want all to be saved, we ask You to use everything in these troubled times to draw them to Jesus. Unless You draw them, they cannot come. (1 Timothy 2:3-4; John 6:44).

O LORD, God of truth, protect our election from interference, lies and fraud...

Because you delight in those who tell the truth, bless us with government leaders who are honest. Help us to be discerning and test everything that is said. Expose any lies and help our election to be fair and without fraud. (Psalm 31:5; 1 Thessalonians 5:21; Proverbs 12:22, 19)

“When the earth and all its people quake, it is I who hold its pillars firm.” (Psalm 75:3)

Father, when things are shaking around us, thank You for holding us together with Your power....

We want people protected. Mighty God, we call on You to help us fight this enemy, and this COVID virus, that the media say is advancing..

Your power can defeat any enemy. We trust you for total victory, Jesus. Please go with us to fight in faith. Not in the flesh, like carnal Christians and those of the world do.

Don’t let us be slow to battle with long waits for tests and results. But not slow or sluggish in the right fights you lead us into.

Enable labs to be quick and precise. May we inquire like David did for the battle plan. Help us to work together and not turn on each other. Lead us to victory. (Deuteronomy 28:7, 20:4; 2 Samuel 5:23; Galatians 5:15) Continue with personal prayer...

Rescuer, go speedily to medical workers who feel helpless, overwhelmed, their hearts troubled....

They are experiencing so much trauma! Gracious God, turn to them. Bring them out of their distresses. May they not rely on themselves, but put everything into Your hands. You alone can save. Help them, over and over. (Galatians 1:4 Psalm 25:15-17; 2 Corinthians 1:8-10) Continue with personal prayer...

God of unfailing love, we pray for those whose own world is shaken....

Many face losses—jobs, insurance, even homes as assistance and grace periods run out. God, Your love never fails or runs out. May they not give up. Help those bent beneath their loads. Open Your hands so filled with kindness. May they call on You. (1 Corinthians 13:7-8; Psalm 145:14-18) Continue with personal prayer...

Wise and generous God, give wisdom to educators and parents who must make plans and decisions....

We don’t know what tomorrow brings, but You do. Direct their steps. You love children so we ask for a safe way for them to go to school. Keep schools safe from the virus. Protect those at home from harm and depression.

May parents and caregivers put on love that will bring harmony. (James 1:5; Matthew 19:14; Psalm 4:8; Colossians 3:14) Continue on with your personal prayer as the Spirit leads you.

Mighty God, hold back this falls those hurricanes that destroy islands, villages and islanders, even those on our coasts.. that many are predicting will come....

Since You are the One who makes the winds blow and the waters flow, we ask for mercy that no hurricanes would add sorrow upon sorrow to our nation and its people. Protect us from other disasters as well like flooding, fires, tornados.... (Psalm 147:18; 12:7; Philippians 2:27) Continue with personal prayer...

Oh God who hears prayers, hear our cries for cities out of control, families forever affected....

A baby in a stroller, a boy in his yard...shot by stray bullets. Raise up leaders who will love, lead, and protect their citizens. Help them to establish order. Bring the guilty to justice. Comfort those filled with pain and sorrow. (Psalm 65:2; Daniel 2:21; Matthew 5:4)

The lying media (approx 98%), rising cases, violence, and bad news make the people fear. Some of the so called doctor experts are trying to scare the citizens again.. probably cuz we're gettin' close to the election. But You know for sure and say, “Do not fear, I will help you.” May each citizen take hold of Your hand and release their fears. We choose to trust in you. May the good news of peace through Jesus spread through our nation. (Judges 6:24; Isaiah 41:13; Acts 10:36).

Thanks Lord for hearing. In Jesus’ name, amen! Facebook.com/shareJesus

Though many in the world try to keep you away from koinonia fellowship these days, God really wants us enjoying uplifting community with his church family. Fellowship starts with Jesus.

What’s not to love about real fellowship?

I love and need that more than so many other good things here.

Why? It's because I really love and need the Lord who blesses this fellowship...most. Yep, need him the most; far more than needing people. We are to be vert-dependent on him, yet righteously interdependent horizontally. I say let's obey him and fellowship together! The Bible says...

"And let us consider how to spur one another on to love and good deeds. Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10:24-25

What's so different now in this regard in the USA?

Never before have we seen a time like this here where Libs and local authority figures are openly protecting rioters out rioting, out looting, and out setting homes, churches, and businesses on fire (with gobs of funded lawyers standing in the wings to get these criminals out of jail so they quickly return to this). And they're also openly attacking churchgoers for trying to go to church to worship and enjoy fellowship. In our town have they allowed you to return for this fellowship that strengthens?

Have you visited dead, cold or religious churches before and not experienced real fellowship? Sorry ‘bout that. Doesn’t have to be that way. God ain’t like that.

What’s so cool is that no matter where you travel around this globe you can enjoy the same sweet fellowship cuz we are one body in Christ. One family building each other up in him. Perhaps your biological family has long been broken or whack and you feel this need inside.. lacking loving family life?

two men sitting and one man standing near cliff taken during golden hour

As believers it can be pretty easy to be a poser.. to fool other born again Christians into believing that our life is perfect (some are tempted to fake it like this), but behind closed doors we know that life is not that way.. not perfect. We really aren't and need to let others know that.

For many it’s fairly easy to go to church fellowship and act like a Christian should act, but it's not so easy to act like a Christian all the time like at school, at work, or around friends. You know it’s been said, “Honesty is the best policy.” And it’s true because being caught in a lie is not a fun thing. A life of duplicity and hypocrisy ain't pleasant at all. Why continue to live a double life because you don’t really want others to know who you really are?

Would you pray something like.. Jesus come in to be Lord, do forgive me and please make me real all the time. I long for fellowship with you and growing believers. Fill me with your Spirit-- keep and use me for your glory.

"Being in a community with other followers of Jesus is something that we should desire in life. It keeps us from hiding behind the mask of positivity. In a Christian community you can learn to fight sin, to be encouraging, and to pray for the needs of other people. But before you can do all of that, you need to be honest about the things going on in your life.

Be Honest with God

Being honest with God is the first step in being in community with other believers. If you believe that your life is good, and that everything is put together accordingly, you won’t believe the truth that you have sin in your life. The Bible says that we all “fall short of the glory of God” (see Romans 3:23). If we have sin in our lives and aren’t able to meet God’s perfect standard, then we need to admit that to Him. When we can be honest with God, He will make us honest about everything else.

Be Honest with Each Other

Ephesians 4:25 says that we should speak the truth with our neighbors because we are members of the same family. The Scriptures teach us that we are brothers and sisters because God is our Father and we are His kids. We should be honest about what we do so that we can help other people when they are in need. God has gifted each one of us in unique ways that can help other people in their circumstances. Have you been honest about your life and the difficulties you face? We believe the Lord wants to use you through the darkest valley you have faced.

Be Honest with the World

It’s easier to be a light in this world when you are at church, but not so easy when you’re around friends who aren’t followers of Jesus. Let’s be honest, we all know that it’s more difficult to express our faith in Jesus Christ to others, but God has promised that when we face difficulties that He will be right there with us. The world needs to know that you are a follower of Jesus. For the sake of the world we must be different than the world. You need to stand out in order to make a difference and that might mean being ridiculed by others. Are you willing to sacrifice being comfortable in your faith rather than allowing someone you know to spend eternity separated from God? It’s a hard truth we need to grapple with, but when we believe that God has a purpose for us to shine His light into the world, He will bless us for taking that step of faith.

Trust that God has given you friends to encourage you and strengthen you when you need it most. He places people in our lives to share their experiences with us so that we can learn and link shields together for the sake of the gospel." ~ Brad Ormonde Jr.

Fellowship is so important!

Ask yourself these question and allow God to minister His encouragement to you:

  1. Have you been honest with God about the sin in your life? If you have never confessed your sins, do it now.
  2. Are you hiding behind a mask? What will it take for you to be honest with yourself and others who know you?
  3. When you’ve faced something difficult in life, who has been there for you and how can you be there for others during their difficulties?
Though many in the world try to keep you away from koinonia fellowship these days, God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit really want us enjoying uplifting community with his family. Fellowship starts with Jesus.
- But I tried fellowship and church before, but it didn’t work for me.

- But there are too many hypocrites in the church. So why should I become a 24/7 on-fire Christian now?

- When people say NO to Christ the whole way through their life and to this sweet fellowship.. how then can a loving God send those people to Hell?
People send themselves there. God honors our choices.

Maybe before you die God catches his believers outta here. No fears! Why not take part in that? You will either get right or get left (the Rapture will soon happen)..and I don't mean politically.

You were created to enjoy fellowship with God the Father in a meaningful friendship. Yes, in a personal way through the Son—yes, to biblically worship and have a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.

Fellowship upwards and outwards with believers is so great and satisfying! And God doesn’t send anyone to miss it going to Hell. We basically send ourselves there if we choose. It was never God's design to send people he made to Hell. It breaks the heart of God to see people rebell. I mean folks he created in His image; those who don't want to be in heaven with God and make the deliberate choice to reject Christ. God won't force.. won't make any be with him and his family forever.

Hell was not made for people; it was made for rebellious fallen angelic beings, Satan and his crew, who wanted to usurp to gain worship and a higher position than God.

In Matthew 25:41, Jesus says that everlasting fire was prepared for Mr. Lu-Cifer and the other devils (fallen angels--a third of all the angels made).

Scripture also teaches, “[God] is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).

That's why God sent Jesus to die on the cross in our place—to bridge the gap between sinful people and a Holy God. Listen, the gates of Hell are basically locked from the inside. No exit. In the future if you end up in Hell, you will have practically had to climb over Jesus to get there. We point to him -- God's only provision and ultimate Solution for our sin.

silhouette of person hand

Has the enemy and the world lured you into something perhaps fun at first to where you've gotten stuck? Has the world chewed you up and spit you out? Hate that! God understands.

Listen, it's forgiven sinners who go to heaven, not those who didn't need any pardon from God. None other go. Can't earn your way in.

Yes, Christians ain't superior to any other person. None, nada. We are saved sinners who seek to grow up and avoid sinning. A person who believes Jesus Christ is the only Son of God and proclaims that truth is basically just one beggar telling another beggar where to find bread and life. Start today! He waits with open arms. Will welcome you!

Though none go with me, still I will follow the good Shepherd. He helps me. No turning back, no turning back.

“‘Come, follow me’, Jesus said..” (Matthew 4:19).

That's a pretty clear command huh. Do you have a prodigal son, or prodigal mom, or prodigal dad, or daughter.. who has bailed out on following? The Lord understands -- for ages he's had many rascals like that. Knows what it feels like. The important thing is.. you and I are to daily follow Christ.

Got some questions on this? What is God’s purpose and will for me? What is God’s will for my life where I can live happy in Him?

There are a lot of wonderful principles, but we are to follow Him in accordance with his word. He says, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” John 14:15

God’s will is in His word. May I ask.. When was the last time you opened your Bible to prayerfully study His commandments?

In the New Covenant, God writes His commandments in our hearts. We have the printed text of Scripture, but we also have the loving Holy Spirit inside.

I want to muse on em repeatedly cuz I'm kinda slow. For the most part, these commandments have to do with my inner life, not my outward circumstances.

Whether you are married or single, no matter where you work or live—following your Shepherd a.k.a. knowing Jesus in obedience to God’s Word is the most important thing.

Everyone I know has different abilities, which often place him or her in different occupations and in different walks of life, but whatever my situation is, I am faced with my own will that could go against God’s word. Daily it's an option for me, but God is looking for people who love Jesus enough to obey and follow Him instead of following after their own will. I mean doing their own thing independently.

Of the more than 2 billion or so people on earth who verbally profess to be “Christians”.. how many are truly Jesus’ sheep who wholeheartedly follow their Shepherd? Real born sheep so to speak or are many of them proverbial goats who will soon be separated? How many don’t listen to their Lord Jesus’ voice? How many put off or refuse to daily deny self and go after him? How many truly possess eternal and abundant life today?

Jesus was asked.. “‘Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?’ He said to them, ‘Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, ‘Sir, open the door for us.’ But he will answer, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’ Then you will say, ‘We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets. But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!’ There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out. People will come from east and west and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God. Indeed there are those who are last who will be first, and first who will be last.” (Luke 13:22-30)

Christ warned, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” (See Matthew 7:21-23 & 25)

In order to inherit eternal life, each human still sucking air on this planet here must personally know Christ by turning from sin and entering into a personal relationship with him through faith. Yes, by trusting in his atoning sacrifice on Calvary’s cross. Jesus (now alive cuz he rose from the dead) is the way (into never ending life with the Father), the truth and the life -- the only way.

“Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent” (John 17:3).

You don’t need to merely be moralized or need religion today. You need Christ. Christianity, in its purest form, is not a religion or a moral code, but a personal relationship with a Living Person–Jesus Christ. He, the Father, and the Holy Spirit have never been religious, but our enemy, Lucifer is. Never forget there’s a difference between those who follow Jesus the good Shepherd and those posers who follow a so called Christian-looking religion!

When we were born again (spiritually. See John 3:1-21), we repented, trusted, and met Jesus. We were then founded, rooted and established in the living word of God (Jesus) himself. From this initial position of being rooted and established in him we must also continue on in him (and not in anything or anyone else as our god or lord). There is only one real God.

“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.” (Colossians 2:6-8)

The Bible says, “..the sheep listen to his (Jesus’) voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.. I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me–just as the Father knows me and I know the Father–and I lay down my life for the sheep…My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish.” (John 10:3-5, 27-28. Always see the whole context)

"And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." 2 Corinthians 12:9

"The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: ‘Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.’" Jeremiah 31:3

"For we walk by faith, not by sight." (2 Corinthians 5:7)

We must be willing to stand alone, and go it alone following Jesus.

Jesus: “Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven. Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law–a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’ Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” (Matthew 10:34-39)

He promised to meet all our needs (Psalm 23). The Bible says, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19

"Though he falls, he will not be overwhelmed, for the Lord is holding his hand. I once was young and now am old, yet never have I seen the righteous abandoned or their children begging for bread. They are ever generous and quick to lend, and their children are a blessing.." Psalm 37:24-26

We would rather have Jesus than anyone else or anything else. Forsaking all else, we are to follow Christ. He’s better than all his blessings.

"I have decided to follow Jesus
I have decided to follow Jesus
I have decided to follow Jesus
No turning back, No turning back
Though I may wonder, I still will follow
Though I may wonder, I still will follow
Though I may wonder, I still will follow
No turning back, No turning back
The cross before me, the world behind me
The cross before me, the world behind me
The cross before me, the world behind me
No turning back, No turning back
Though none go with me, still I will follow.." ~ S. Sundar Singh

There have been times when I’ve gotten distracted. Yes, there have been days where I get so busy creating, or reading, or working that I forget to spend time with Jesus.. or follow and obey God’s commandments to me.

God commands me to put away “all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor and evil speaking..” Ephesians 4:31

But I see some really evil people who long time aren’t getting punished for hurting or killing others and I feel like punishing them. Can’t do it, it’s not my place.

If, whether I am doing road or building construction, if I am flipping burgers, traveling or providing support for my dear wife, Liney, If I for some reason or another get angry with my co-worker in the middle of it all to the point where I feel like taking matters into my own hands to do something.. I have drifted outside of God’s will. I ain’t to be angry with people or get revenge on them.

God’s will is that I follow my gentle Shepherd.. that I become free from my old fleshly human nature, yes, from my own will, and simply follow Jesus. That I follow the commandments God has written in my heart.

And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another..” Ephesians 4:32

Gotta ask if I may.. As a Christian, do you more often act like the policeman or the paramedic with other people?

So many are rushing off of cliffs these days, and now they lay in at the bottom all broken and wounded.

When someone has crashed their life you well know how the police will arrive there to arrest those who have broken the laws (I am grateful for real police, but is it a believer's place to act like they do if they aren't employed with the police?).

The police go investigate and find out who are the victims, and who are the wrong doers on the scene. They will  penalize the wrong-doers quickly, so they’ll learn never to do wrong again. They aren’t the judge, but are to evaluate. They are to make wise judgements. Most do that well.

But the paramedic quickly arrives there not to find out who did wrong or right, but to minister to those who are injured, and who are dying. They check the vital signs, they stop the blood flow with a tourniquet. Yes they help those who are hurting or bleeding to stabilize so the doctors can do more to help. It’s about speed and first aide. It’s about getting the injured to safety.. to the hospital even. It’s not their job to make the criminals on the scene there into non-criminals, or to fine them. Both police and paramedics seek to protect people and that’s how we are to be. The Bible teaches, “Love..always protects.”

I say, act like a paramedic more than like a police person, believer. If a crime has been committed call the police for sure. If someone is hurt, call 911. But in your attitude act more like a paramedic to rescue the perishing. There are already too many Christians and religious people acting like the police or the judge when there is blood on the ground.

It isn’t my natural tendency to care for people, but God has commanded me to live like this—God’s will for me is a life where sin has no power over me, but rescuing is a part of my experience!

You know how a good Shepherd rescues his straying or non-straying wounded lamb. It’s what he’s about. He watches out for their well being sort of like a paramedic does at times.

Are you like a wounded sheep or goat today? I've been very concerned about my dad and his health lately. Please pray for Kim. His doc just found a lump in his abdomen.

Believer, perhaps you have some health issues or feel like you've been walking through the valley of the shadow of death lately? It's a shadow--we're going to live forever. One day at a time with Jesus--his grace is sufficient. None of us are promised tomorrow, so let's live for him today.

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for the sake of His name. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." Psalm 23 emph. mine

The Christian in the will of God is immortal until that moment God calls him to heaven. Do you have an assurance of being forgiven and saved? You can today

Each day it's impossible to follow right and do God’s will in our own strength, but I say trust Jesus to empower you step by step.. yes, to help and guide you the whole way.

I’m referring to a person who is attempting to put to death their sinful desires without any help from God; not sinning by sheer strength of will here.

You know how some people may manage this to some degree, but ultimately it is impossible to long pull that off. When my whole heart’s desire is to obey the voice of my Shepherd instead of my own... guess what. He is there for me, and He gives me power to carry out His will in his way. He's there for you as well. Fish4souls.org

To know, to grasp for application-sake.. and to go wisely do.

God knows you and your situation. He loves you as you are, but won't leave you as you are.

He knows when we’re desolate, needy and spiritually dry like a lonely desert. Can change all that. God knows your heart, your thoughts, your aspirations, and all your ways. He knows all our ways, everyone, and yet he loves us still. Doesn’t wink at sin, God won't, yet he has compassion and feels for us daily. None cares about us like Jesus. God understands you, he always gets it.

Needy now..are you? Why stay that way? I say you simply need biblical faith. I don't mean faith in self, but in Jesus.

May I ask.. How are you doing today and what do you lack ..that you really don't need to lack any more? How can I pray for you? I will

“A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.” Proverbs 25:28

“,,Living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions” -- that’s the word of God. Today, very much alive and wise. Near and ready to help you.  (See Hebrews 4:12 and context).

Turn, trust. tremendous! You can know the word today

Even you can. Hey, guess what.. God loves all the white people he made as well. Even the men. Yup, and walking with Him is a great privilege.

Good idea, no charge. Give your attention with good intention when ya hear or read the Bible.

What does God want me to know, and understand? What, how, when and where does he want me to do?

Sure, Jesus said, “He that has ears to hear, let him hear!

When you prepare a message for your family time together or for your group.. before simple delivery ask yourself. What do I want em to know.. and do with this?

Sure, ask God first cuz he has both answers for those he loves.

Will there be some within earshot who need to return to him.....or come to the Lord for the very first time? Put em not off as some have done.

Tactfully, how will you respectfully appeal to em.. to act.. to respond?

One day, this life that we often enjoy or love so much will pass. It’ll be history, and we’ll enter into the so called afterlife and guess what... If you’ve simply turned and trusted.. I mean you’ve put your faith in the Jesus Christ of the Bible, then you’re a child of God and all ready for anything. You’re a citizen of Heaven -- nothin’ will be more awesome than seein’ his face along with your loved ones who went on before you.

‘Til that reunion, what beats daily biblical worship and just helping your buds be ready so we can all be together long term?

Be doers of the word, and not hearers only. Otherwise, you are deceiving yourselves. For anyone who hears the word but does not carry it out is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror, and after observing himself goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like..” James 1:22-24
