Last Days.. Last Hour.. Last Moments. I Wish We'd All Be Ready!

Are we living in the Last Days? Yes.

We are in the last days—not because it often feels like it. Not because it largely looks like the world is unraveling, but we are, because Scripture says so.

The last days began with Jesus’ first coming, and we now live in the final moments of God’s redemptive timeline.

From Bethlehem’s manger to the clouds of glory at His return, history is marching toward a divinely appointed climax -- the clock is ticking.

This isn’t sensationalism—it’s simply biblical reality.

Are we headed for the last hour and last moments? Yes.

First John 2:18 speaks of this “the last hour,” marked by spiritual deception and the rise of antichrists—those who oppose Christ and deny His sovereignty and Lordship. The Apostle John wasn’t exaggerating at all.

He clearly saw the signs, and we too should prayerfully keep our eyes open.

False teachers seem to multiply here, the truth is twisted, and many people are drifting away from the faith. But God's Word calls us reborn believers not to fear and failure, but to fruitfulness and faithfulness.

Now is not the time for any panic, but for perseverance. Let's endure to the end.. tight with the Lord. Let's abide in Christ instead of striving in the flesh. Let's stay rooted in the truth of God's word with wise applications. Let's live with a sense of urgency, not worldly anxiety. Maintain your focus on Jesus. The circumstances here will always change.

You remember how Jesus warned us: no one knows the day or hour of His return (Mark 13:32). This statement wasn’t a contradiction of His divinity—it was an act of humility. Yes, in becoming fully human, Jesus voluntarily limited certain divine privileges of His

"Have this same attitude in yourselves which was in Christ Jesus [look to Him as your example in selfless humility], 6 who, although He existed in the form and unchanging essence of God [as One with Him, possessing the fullness of all the divine attributes—the entire nature of deity], did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped or asserted [as if He did not already possess it, or was afraid of losing it]; 7 but emptied Himself [without renouncing or diminishing His deity, but only temporarily giving up the outward expression of divine equality and His rightful dignity] by assuming the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men [He became completely human but was without sin, being fully God and fully man]. 8 After He was found in [terms of His] outward appearance as a man [for a divinely-appointed time], He humbled Himself [still further] by becoming obedient [to the Father] to the point of death, even death on a cross." Philippians 2:5–8 amp

Jesus knew all things as fully God (He is omniscient), yet He chose submission as a man of character while here. He is our good example, Savior, Chief Shepherd, and so He limited Himself of some divine perogatives. His veiled knowledge was a reflection of His role as the obedient Son of God, not a flaw in His deity at all. And now, He's exalted up in heaven, and He does know the hour—and He will indeed come here again.

How can I overcome my fear of the end of days?

What is the end times tribulation?

Will there be a worldwide awakening (I hope so before the rapture, but we believers don't know for sure) ..or a revival before the end/Second Coming? There will be a revival with Jewish evangelists winning many souls to Jesus during the 7 years of tribulation.

What does it mean that there will be false christs in the end times?

Surviving the end times - what do I need to know?

What does it mean that there will be wars and rumors of wars before?

What is wrong with date-setting for the end times?

According to Scripture, the next major event on God's prophetic timeline is the rapture of the Church—Christ returning in the air to snatch away His bride (See 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; 1 Corinthians 15:52).

This moment is imminent. No prophecy needs to be fulfilled before it happens. What follows is a cascading series of divine judgments and events:

  • Rise of the Popular (Wicked Lying) Antichrist, promising peace but demanding worship (2 Thessalonians 2; Revelation 13).
  • Seven-Years of Tribulation on Earth, where God’s wrath is poured out and evil briefly reigns (Revelation 6–16).
  • The Battle of Gog and Magog, an alliance attacking Israel—the enemies will be defeated by God Himself (Ezekiel 38–39).
  • Abomination of Desolation, where the Antichrist desecrates the temple, triggering massive persecution (Daniel 9:27; Matthew 24:15).
  • The Battle of Armageddon, as Christ returns in glory to defeat His enemies and rescue Jerusalem (Revelation 19).
  • Judgment of the Nations, separating the faithful from the wicked (Matthew 25).
  • Satan And Fallen Angels Get Bound for 1,000 Years, ushering in Christ’s righteous reign here (Revelation 20).
  • The 1000 Year Reign On Earth - Millennial Kingdom, a literal thousand-year reign of peace on earth, centered in Jerusalem (Isaiah 11; Revelation 20).
  • Satan’s Final Rebellion, crushed instantly by God (Revelation 20:7–10).
  • The Great White Throne Judgment, where all unbelievers are judged and cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:11–15).
  • A New Heaven and A New Earth, where sorrow vanishes and God dwells forever with His people (Revelation 21–22).

Is any of this stuff fiction?—Nope, it’s Bible prophecy and will happen. God's got a sterling track record with His prophecies (yep, way better than all those money-grubbing false TV preachers have).

Of course, faithful believers often differ on these non-essentials in this timeline, the reality is non-negotiable: Jesus is returning soon, and the world as we know it will not continue on like it has.. forever.

So, what should we do? How should we live? I say don’t waste your life. Pray and don’t toy with pet sins or any sins.

Don’t get lulled to sleep by comfort, worldliness, and fear. Never let the devil, worldly cares, and religious folk choke out your fruitfulness in Jesus Christ.

If you belong to Christ, then live as if you’re passing through nad leaving here soon—because you actually are.

It's a daily choice for each of us to abide in fellowship with the Lord, to go witness and to be fruitful. Therefore, make the choice -- choose life and cling to the Living Word of God. You won't be able to stop the overflow -- you'll go and share His gospel message with boldness, clarity, and urgency! What an exciting adventure we have before us. These days are filled with potential. This little light of mine, I'm  gong to let it shine!. Let your life be a bright and bold as well: “Jesus Christ is Lord, and He is coming soon!”

The Bible prophesies of many events that will occur in the end times. These signs—natural, spiritual, sociological, technological, and political—serve as divine indicators pointing us to the imminent return of Jesus Christ. If we prayerfully examine the Scriptures daily. I mean closely and properly match the passages with observable events, we will see an undeniable increase in signs converging like never before.

1. Natural Signs

Jesus warned in Luke 21:11, “There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.” These are the “birth pangs” (Matthew 24:8)—the world groaning as it awaits redemption. In just the past two decades, the frequency and intensity of natural disasters—earthquakes, tsunamis, pandemics—have risen sharply. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the number of large earthquakes has increased dramatically in the last century. These signs should stir us not to fear, but to prepare.

“The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.”1 Peter 4:7

2. Spiritual Signs

2 Timothy 4:3–4 warns of a time when people will “not endure sound doctrine,” turning instead to fables and false teachers. This apostasy is visible today in the rise of New Age philosophies, pagan rituals, and moral relativism. Cults proliferate and the occult is glamorized. Yet amid the darkness, a great light shines.

Joel 2:28–29 proclaims a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit: “Your sons and daughters will prophesy… even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.” We have seen revivals breaking out in unexpected places—from Asbury University to underground churches in Iran. The gospel is spreading faster than ever before.

“Revive us again; Fill each heart with Thy love; May each soul be rekindled with fire from above.” William P. Mackay, “Revive Us Again”

3. Sociological Signs

Paul's prophetic words in 2 Timothy 3:1–4 paint a chilling picture: “People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive… lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.” Society is now engulfed in a storm of moral decline—abortion, redefinition of marriage, gender confusion, drug addiction, and child exploitation are signs of deep-rooted rebellion against God's design.

A 2024 Gallup poll shows only 20% of Americans now view the Bible as the literal Word of God, down from 40% in the 1980s. Meanwhile, self-worship and materialism dominate modern culture. We are truly living in days “as in the days of Noah” (Matthew 24:37).

“Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, prone to leave the God I love.” – Robert Robinson, “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing”

4. Technological Signs

Prophecies once considered to be merely symbolic by the collared paid professionals are now chillingly plausible in reality. Revelation 13:16–17 describes a future where the Antichrist controls global commerce through a “mark,” without which no one can buy or sell. With the rise of biometric ID, AI surveillance, and digital currencies, this prophecy is technologically feasible today.

Conversely, technology is also helping us with global evangelism. Mark 13:10 says, “The gospel must first be preached to all nations.” Through satellite TV, the internet, Bible apps, and translated Scriptures, the gospel is now reaching the most remote corners of the earth. The Jesus Film alone has been translated into over 2,000 languages, reaching billions.

“Let every kindred, every tribe, on this terrestrial ball, to Him all majesty ascribe and crown Him Lord of all.” Edward Perronet, “All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name”

5. Political Signs

Perhaps you are old enough to remember the rebirth of Israel in 1948 as a nation. It was a monumental fulfillment of prophecy. Isaiah 66:8 asked, “Can a country be born in a day?” And it was. Zechariah 12:3 predicted Jerusalem would become a burdensome stone for all nations—exactly as we see today in ongoing geopolitical tensions.

Wars and unrest, sadly, continue on here globally. Matthew 24:6–7 says, “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars.. Nation will rise against nation.” According to the Global Conflict Tracker, over 25 major conflicts rage worldwide as of 2025. The world groans for peace, but only the Prince of Peace can bring it.

What Does This Mean for Us?

2 Peter 3:9 reminds us, “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise.. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” We want to live the life and go tell even more people because of the Bible prophecies. We don't study prophecy merely to get all fat and then go study more prophecy as an end in itself.. like some so-called Christians do. We have a world-changing purpose with it. We are God's Plan A for winning the Lost to Jesus. The signs are not given to frighten us, but to awaken us. God always warns before judgment.

John 3:36 declares, “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on them.” Certain Judgment ahead will be very real—but God's mercy and grace is real for those who repent and believe in Jesus. Romans 3:24 promises that we are “justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”

The rapture could occur at any moment. Are you living rapture-ready? Jesus really cares and intercedes! Are all your sins confessed and under the blood of Jesus. Let not His death on that cross at Calvary be in vain for you. He is now alive and praying

“There’s a voice calling me from an old rugged tree, and it whispers draw closer to Me.” Unknown

When I Hear The Bad News First, It Makes Me Appreciate His Good News!

There is still time to confess, repent, and to believe in the Jesus of the Bible. There is still time to follow God's living Word. Eternal and abundant life are a free gift—received by grace through faith -- ya can't add anything to it. No one is beyond hope if they are still sucking air here.

Come Home! Don't try to clean up yourself first and then come home. Just come as you are without excuses or delay! Here and now is good!

Let the Fisher of men catch you first -- for He cleans the fish He catches so to speak.

“Look, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him..”Revelation 1:7

We study intentionally, and then want to go win souls and biblically disciple Christians.. better and better. It's for the purpose of glorifying the Lord wherever God leads us.. rather than just sitting there on our blessed assurance.

In the area of study called the end times, I simply adhere to what the Bible clearly teaches -- yes, a pretribulational approach to eschatology. And from this perspective, here is the order of end-times events that the Bible reveals to us:

1. The rapture of the church. Christ comes in the clouds to “snatch away” all those who trust in Him (1 Corinthians 15:52). At this same time, the “dead in Christ” will be resurrected and taken to heaven, too. From our perspective today, this is the next event in the eschatological timeline. The rapture is imminent; no other biblical prophecy needs to be fulfilled before the rapture happens.

2. The rise of the Antichrist. After the church is taken out of the way (2 Thessalonians 2:7–8), a satanically empowered man will gain worldwide control with promises of peace (Revelation 13:1; Daniel 9:27). He will be aided by another man, called the false prophet, who heads up a religious system that requires worship of the Antichrist (Revelation 19:20).

3. The tribulation. A period of seven years in which God’s judgment is poured out on sinful humanity (Revelation 6–16). The Antichrist’s rise to power is associated with this time period. During the tribulation on earth, the Church will be in heaven. It is thought that at this time the Judgment Seat of Christ and the Marriage Supper of the Lamb will occur in heaven (2 Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 19:6–10).

4. The Battle of Gog and Magog. In the first part of the tribulation, a great army from the north, in alliance with several other countries from the Middle East and Africa, attacks Israel and is defeated by God’s supernatural intervention (Ezekiel 38–39). (Some commentators place this battle just before the start of the tribulation.)

5. The abomination of desolation. At the midway point of the seven-year tribulation, the Antichrist breaks his covenant with Israel and shows his true colors. The Jews are scattered, and many of them turn to the Lord, realizing that Jesus is their Savior. A great persecution breaks out against all those who believe in Christ (Daniel 12:11; Mark 13:14; Revelation 12:17).

6. The Battle of Armageddon. At the end of the tribulation, Jesus returns with the armies of heaven (Mark 14:62). He saves Jerusalem from annihilation and defeats the armies of the nations fighting under the banner of the Antichrist (Revelation 19:11–21). The Antichrist and the false prophet are captured and thrown alive into the lake of fire (Revelation 19:20).

7. The judgment of the nations. Christ will judge the survivors of the tribulation, separating the righteous from the wicked as “sheep” and “goats” (Matthew 25:31–46). (It is thought that at this time the Old Testament saints will be raised from the dead.) The righteous will enter the Millennial Kingdom; the wicked will be cast into hell.

8. The binding and incarceration of Satan. Satan will be bound and held in a bottomless pit for the next 1,000 years (Revelation 20:1–3).

9. The Millennial Kingdom. Jesus Himself will rule the world, and Jerusalem will be the capital. This will be a 1,000-year period of peace and prosperity on earth (Revelation 20; Isaiah 60–62). Memorial sacrifices will be offered in a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem (Ezekiel 40–48).

10. The last battle. At the end of the 1,000 years, Satan will be released from his prison for a short time. He will deceive the nations once again, and there will be a rebellion against the Lord that will be quickly defeated (Revelation 20:7–10). Satan will be cast into the lake of fire, never to reappear.

11. The Great White Throne Judgment. All those in hell will be brought forth, and all the wicked from all eras of history will be resurrected to stand before God in a final judgment (Revelation 20:11–15). The verdicts are read, and all of sinful humanity is cast into the lake of fire.

12. The new creation. God completely remakes the heavens and the earth. It is at this time that God wipes away all tears and there will be no more pain, death, or sorrow. The New Jerusalem descends from heaven, and the children of God will enjoy eternity with Him (Revelation 21–22).

These doctrines above are very important to know well, but let's each major on the majors. Our unity is to be around Jesus (a close relationship with God through His Son) and the Essentials.

"Dear children, this world’s last hour has come. You have heard about the Antichrist who is coming—the one who is against Christ—and already many such persons have appeared. This makes us all the more certain that the end of the world is near." 1 John 2:18 tlb

"My little sons, the last hour is; and as ye have heard, that antichrist cometh, now many antichrists be made; wherefore we know [whereof we know], that it is the last hour." 1 John 2:18 wyc

"As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord" and not break fellowship with other Christians holding different views of eschatology ..for that would be moronic. There's a world of people to evangelize. Please note: The above are non-essential issues with our faith -- yes, these inferior views that are lacking.. such as midtribulationism, amillennialism, and partial preterism, will have different timelines of the end times, of course.
