What can we know for sure about fraud and cheating?

I hope this has never happened to you: You have an appointment with a doctor only to later discover that the person you met with wasn’t a real doctor at all. Who was that? You met with a counterfeit doctor, a person masquerading as someone professional.

Man, none of us have to look very far these days to see how often fraud and cheating actually happens:

Let's consider what God in the Bible has to say about cheating or committing fraud.

It’d be good to know huh. What does the Bible say about these sins?

Currently one political party in America has been caught cheating.. a whole lot. Yes, they've be caught cheated on a massive scale. Just today I heard over four hours of credible eyewitnesses testifying on what they first hand saw and experienced regarding this. This particular party has chosen to become known for this and now don’t even seem to care.

Will those who've cheated go to a real place called hell if they remain unrepentant? Yes. Will all of them go to prison? Hopefully. You know that's a time-out kind of place where they could learn to submit to Authority. This time I believe several will get locked up for fraud. You and I didn’t know that all the votes from our last election where counted in Frankfurt Germany did you?

On Nov. 18, 2020 did you hear Rudy Giuliani reveal the info on the voting system by Dominion and Smartmatic? We didn’t know that when American votes are calculated, they are digitally sent to Smartmatic’s servers located in Frankfurt, Deutschland, and in Barcelona, Spain. We didn’t know there was a backdoor where votes could be added in. We learned that the machine devices are extremely vulnerable to hacking and manipulation.

Google the history of Smartmatic, which actually helped the dictator Chavez fix the elections by vote fraud in Venezuela.

image

Now  79% of Conservative Voters Believe ‘Election Was Stolen‘. So it's probably higher than that even.

Yesterday Joe Biden Gets Only 1,000 Viewers to Watch His Thanksgiving Address Live — But He Got 80 Million Votes (more votes they say than any other president in all of history)?

Electoral fraud, sometimes referred to as election manipulation, voter fraud or vote rigging, involves illegal interference with any part of the process of an election, either by increasing the vote share of a favored candidate, voter suppression or depressing the vote share of rival candidates.

image

Cheating is essentially acting dishonestly, illegally, or unfairly in order to gain a personal advantage. Of course Biased Big tech, Media, and Social Media platforms like Facebook and Twitter are complicit in this massive fraud this time.

image

You know many people go to prison for breaking the law by committing fraud. It's very serious and God sees and catches every one of them. Rudy Giuliani is currently catching a lot of fraudsters in their illegal scams.

image

What is this cheating and fraud? It's when people disregard set rules or laws in favor of personal gain or for their so called success. When a selfish desire for victory or accomplishment outweighs a moral commitment to truthfulness, integrity and equality, cheating can become a temptation. But as new creations in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), we can choose to refuse harmful temptations to commit fraud or cheat out other people. (Matthew 26:41; 1 Corinthians 10:13). You don't want to offend God or be known as a real thief or a robber do you?

Christians must strive to glorify the Lord with their thoughts and actions (1 Corinthians 3:16). Cheating or committing fraud, they go against the goodness and obedience that will glorify the Lord. Dishonesty mars an individual’s integrity and reputation. It can taint or sully you on the inside until you're foul or perverse (Proverbs 10:9). Not presenting oneself truthfully is lying, and lying is a sin simple as that and unforgiven sinners go to hell instead of heaven (Leviticus 19:11; Proverbs 12:22). Is that what you want?

Even though the world excuses dishonesty when it deems it trivial, God asks His followers to be truth-tellers all the time. If those of a a party keep losing they might become tempted to cheat in an election.. and then they get caught and go to prison where they belong.

If a student does poorly on a test because he didn’t study, his low grade is a natural consequence of a poor choice. God will honor that honesty, and the student can learn from his mistakes. A bad grade on a test may teach and motivate a student to study harder ahead of time or get a tutor or get enough sleep the night before. Grades in school should represent what has been learned in the class and the subsequent work of the student. Cheating seeks to bypass the learning process and manipulate consequences through dishonesty.

Followers of Christ need to walk in the light, and cheating prevents people from seeing Christ’s glory. Dishonesty taints the goodness the children of God should have (Philippians 2:15; Ephesians 5:8). If our own Heavenly Father condemns lying (Proverbs 6:16–19), there is no way a believer can justify even a “harmless” lie such as cheating.

image

Cheating is a selfish act that gives us an advantage over others who are facing the same challenge. As Christians, we should seek to help others fairly and justly while maintaining moral integrity and a godly reputation. Cheating simply does not help uphold that standard.

What are the consequences of cheating or committing fraud.. what's the consequences of any sin of omission or commission?

The ultimate—and severest—consequence of sin is death. People who commit fraud go to jail and people who cheat end up single again, or kicked out of school. The Bible says that “the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). This not only refers to physical death, but to eternal separation from God: “But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear” (Isaiah 59:2). This is the foremost consequence of man’s rebellion against God.

Yet many want to believe that God is so “loving” that He will overlook our “little faults,” “lapses” and “indiscretions.” Little white lies, cheating on the tax return, taking that pen when no one is looking, or secretly viewing pornography—these are peccadillos, not worthy of death, right? The problem is, sin is sin, big or small. Though God loves us, His holiness is such that He cannot live with evil. The prophet Habakkuk describes God this way: “Your eyes are too pure to look on evil; you cannot tolerate wrong” (Habakkuk 1:13). God does not ignore our sin. On the contrary, “you may be sure that your sin will find you out” (Numbers 32:23). Even those secret sins we hide in the recesses of our hearts will one day be brought to light: “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account” (Hebrews 4:13).

Paul made it abundantly clear that sin has consequences: “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows” (Galatians 6:7). Paul then describes the end of those who indulge in sinful behavior: “The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction” (Galatians 6:8). The phrase “sinful nature” refers to one’s unregenerate, shameless self. Though the sin nature may promise fulfillment, it can result in nothing but “destruction.”

Paul told the believers in Galatia that “the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other...” (Galatians 5:17). Then he lists the sordid works of the sin nature and specifies the ultimate consequence of such behavior: “Those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God” (see Galatians 5:19-21). Those who live in debauchery and sin sow the seeds of destruction in their present-day life and forfeit any hope of eternal life.

The Bible describes those who choose to indulge in sin as being “darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more” (Ephesians 4:18-19). One of the consequences of sin, therefore, is more sin. There’s an insatiable “lust for more,” attended by a dulling of the conscience and a blindness to spiritual truth (1 Corinthians 2:14).

The consequence of suppressing the truth is that God gives the sinner over to “the sinful desires of their hearts,” “shameful lusts” and “a depraved mind” (Romans 1:24, 26, 28). This means that God may allow the sinner to serve as his own god and to reap the destruction of his body and soul. It is a fearful thing to be “given over” to our own destructive ways.

God has made it clear that “the soul who sins will die” (Ezekiel 18:4, NASB). Those who habitually live their lives outside of Christ, yet whose hearts have been convicted by the gospel of Christ, should follow the example of the first converts of the church: “They were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, ‘Brothers, what shall we do?’” The answer was simple yet profound: “Repent!” (Acts 2:37-38).

Jesus’ first words when He began His ministry were, “The time has come. The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!” (Mark 1:15). What is the good news? “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

The consequence of sin is death, but “the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).

Fraud, it is very serious. What happens to fraudsters? Do they always get caught? Yes, but sometimes not right away. Be sure your sin will find you out. Repent, admit it and quit it.

I like to save some (not piles), to invest a bit, but during times of economic hardship and national crisis many people have turned to precious metals as a source of ultimate stability. Is that always the smartest thing to do? Will gold here have great value in the last of the last days? What will?

In times of national transition, in times of hyperinflation, war, or other disasters here... paper money may not be worth more than a blank sheet of paper. I personally have a pile of old money (Deutsche Marks) from Augsburg Germany that’s now worth ..paper.

Did ya used to have a 401k, but now have a 101k?

Can happen. Loss. You really can't count on the wealth of this world or this world-system. So many invest in gold, they run lots of ads to get you to do this, but how much will that one day be worth?

Am thinking today about Nebuchadnezzar's Dream in the Bible. He had it in the second year of Nebuchadnezzar's reign. Then he demanded of his magicians and astrologers that they should not only reproduce the dream, but that they should interpret it. This they were unable to do and their destruction was ordered, but was stayed by Daniel's petition for a little time. Then Daniel and his companions betook themselves to prayer, and in a night vision the "Dream" and its meaning was made known to Daniel. Go read the whole story--it happened.

The "image symbolized the "World Kingdoms" in their Unity and Historical Succession. Gentile dominion is represented by a huge "Metallic" Man. The degeneration of the "World Kingdoms" is seen in the diminishing value of the metals used. Silver is worth less than gold, brass than silver, iron than brass, and clay than iron. The weight of the image also declines, the specific gravity of gold is 19.5, of silver 10.47, of brass 8, of cast iron 5, and of clay 1.93. The "Colossus" is Top Heavy.

The four metals of which the "image" was composed represent: Four Worldwide Empires...that arise in succession (Dan. 2:37-40). Four great Empires, and only four, are to succeed each other in the government of the world, from Nebuchadnezzar to the "Second Coming" of Christ the Babylonian, Medo-Persian, Grecian, and Roman. These Kingdoms are not only made known as to number, but their names, in the order of their succession, are given. The metals are interesting. We can see that the deterioration of the image aka "Colossus" is shown in the character of the metals composing it. This was prophetic of the character of the governments as they were to succeed one another. The power of Nebuchadnezzar was Absolute, of him Daniel said"All people, nations, and languages, trembled and feared him; whom he would he slew; and whom he would he kept alive; and whom he would he set up; and whom he would he put down." Dan. 5:19.The second Kingdom was inferior to the first (a  Monarchy dependent upon the support of an Hereditary Aristocracy)..and so it goes..finally the "Stone" which smites the "image" must be interpreted as Christ who is called a "Stone" in Scripture. "Whosoever shall fall on this stone (Christ) shall be broken (softened by repentance), but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder." Matt. 21:44. This is exactly what the prophet foretells of the smiting of the "Colossus.""Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them; and the Stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth." Dan. 2:35.

The "Stone Kingdom" must also be a literal Kingdom, for it takes the place of the literal Kingdoms that are destroyed, and conquers the whole earth. The "Stone Kingdom" then is the "Millennial Kingdom of Christ" and the "Colossus," or the "Times of the Gentiles" typified by it, cannot come to an end until the "revelation of Christ" at His Second Coming. Not far off from now.

Muse on this. For the large majority of human history–precious metals, such as gold and silver, have constituted money a medium of exchange for goods and services. Seems like cash now is pretty much obsolete, how many now carry cash?

Gold is used as money in Scripture (See Exodus 38:24). The common Old Testament word for money, kesef, means “silver”; it is translated as “silver” 287 times in the KJV and 112 times as “money” (see, e. g, Genesis 13:2; 20:16; 23:9, 13, 15, etc.).

Gold will continue to be valuable until after Christ’s coming at the Rapture (Revelation 18:12, 16 & 3:17).

Remember when Christ said, “I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich” (Revelation 3:18).  The spiritual need to receive spiritual blessings from God is clearly primary. Let’s keep the main things the main thing -- be rapture ready. The Second Coming will also happen after that.

While the US dollar and other world currencies decrease in value over time and eventually become worthless, gold and silver will not totally lose their value before the Rapture of the Church (See Revelation 18:12, 16-17).

The wealthy of this world is going to leave you where it left the rich young ruler back in the day. He needed something more.. someOne (Christ)

In Revelation 4:4 the Bible says, “Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four (human) elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads.” (NKJV). There’ll be rewards given to obedient saints (born again believers). emph-mine.

What’s totally certain for us in the future -- the Triune God of Scripture (the Father, Son and Holy Spirit -- God is our ultimate reward) and His infallible Word too, the Bible. Let’s know Him well, and tactfully..respectfully make him well known.  .

Will there literally be streets of gold in heaven?

Heaven’s streets of gold are often referenced in song and poetry, but harder to find in the Bible. In fact, there is only one passage of Scripture that references streets of gold and that is in the Holy City, the New Jerusalem: “The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass” (Revelation 21:21). So does this verse tell us that there will literally be streets of gold in heaven? And, if so, what is the importance or significance of literal streets of gold? The Greek word translated “gold” is chrusion, which can mean “gold, gold jewelry, or overlay.” So to translate it “gold” makes complete and perfect sense. In fact, struggles of interpretation often come up when people attempt to determine which parts of the Bible to take literally and which parts to take figuratively. A good rule of thumb when studying the Bible is to take everything literally, unless it doesn’t make sense to do so. And in this chapter of Revelation, John isn’t just throwing out random descriptive terms. In the early parts of Revelation 21, he is given a rod to measure out the city (verse15), and he specifically describes the wall of heaven as being composed of jasper and the city itself also of gold (verse18). He also describes the foundations of the city walls being comprised of many specific precious stones and jewels (verses19–20). So with these specifics in mind, the description of golden streets makes perfect sense in comparison to the rest of John’s eyewitness description.

So, if heaven’s streets are made of gold, what is the point? First, notice the condition of the gold. When gold is uncovered on earth, it is not in the desirable condition that jewelers are looking for. The gold must be smelted in order that impurities float to the top for removal, leaving only the pure gold behind. The gold that John saw in heaven was of such quality that it appears to be transparent in order to reflect the pure light of God’s blazing glory. And God’s ability to purify is not confined only to gold; God has purified all who will enter His heaven through the blood of Jesus Christ. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). Not only is God’s holy city one of purity by His design, so are the citizens of that city.

As we investigate this idea of golden streets further, there are some teachers and scholars who do not hold to the idea that heaven’s golden streets are literal. However, by looking simply at the text God has given us within the context of the entirety of John’s revelation, there seems to be no reason to doubt it. However, our attention in eternity will hardly be focused on earthly treasures. While man pursues treasures like gold on earth, one day it will simply be no more than a source of pavement for the believer in heaven. No matter how many precious jewels or materials make up the physical construction of heaven, nothing will ever be of greater value than the God who loves us and died to save us.

Hey believer, take careful heed to how you build. “For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on this foundation [with] gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is.If anyone's work which he has built on [it] endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.Do you not know that you are the temple of God and [that] the Spirit of God dwells in you?” 1 Cor. 33:11-16

God loves and values you greatly. You are more than you own. You are more than your popularity or lack of that both online or offline. You people are the apex of all of God’s creations and he’s made some wonderful creatures. Jesus died on a cross and rose again just as He said so that you and I could have fellowship with the Father for all eternity..

The idols of the heathen..evin those that are made of silver and gold are worthless, Walk away, ditch, melt em down. Serve the One living God instead.

Thinking about Christmas almost here. Q. So why did the Magi bring gold, frankincense, and myrrh to Jesus?

Well, in Matthew 2 tells us that the magi, or wise men, travelled from the East in search of the Christ child. They inquired of King Herod where they might find Him, saying, "Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him" (Matthew 2:2). Upon finding the baby Jesus, “they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh” (Matthew 2:11).

Gold is a precious metal and as such was a very valuable commodity. Its value could very well have financed Joseph and Mary’s trip to Egypt. The Bible does not tell us any other significance to these three gifts; however, tradition has it that there is a deeper meaning for each of the three. Gold is a symbol of divinity and is mentioned throughout the Bible. Pagan idols were often made from gold and the Ark of the Covenant was overlaid with gold (Exodus 25:10-17). The gift of gold to the Christ child was symbolic of His divinity—God in flesh.

Frankincense is a white resin or gum. It is obtained from a tree by making incisions in the bark and allowing the gum to flow out. It is highly fragrant when burned and was therefore used in worship, where it was burned as a pleasant offering to God (Exodus 30:34). Frankincense is a symbol of holiness and righteousness. The gift of frankincense to the Christ child was symbolic of His willingness to become a sacrifice, wholly giving Himself up, analogous to a burnt offering.

Myrrh was also a product of Arabia, and was obtained from a tree in the same manner as frankincense. It was a spice and was used in embalming. It was also sometimes mingled with wine to form an article of drink. Such a drink was given to our Savior when He was about to be crucified, as a stupefying potion (Mark 15:23). Matthew 27:34 refers to it as “gall.” Myrrh symbolizes bitterness, suffering, and affliction. The baby Jesus would grow to suffer greatly as a man and would pay the ultimate price when He gave His life on the cross for all who would believe in Him.

Is it smart for a Christian to invest money in the stock market? Isn’t that like gambling

God’s intentions for how we should manage our wealth are found in many Scriptures. The following are a few examples. Proverbs 28:20 says, “A faithful man will be richly blessed, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished.” This speaks against the “get-rich-quick” mentality. Looking at investment as a long-term plan for the future is good planning, but trying to make a fortune overnight is not.

Second Corinthians 9:6 says, “Remember this: whoever sows sparingly will reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will reap generously.” The context is actually speaking about investing in our relationship with God, but it demonstrates how one must often sacrifice now to gain in the future. Similarly, Proverbs 3:9-10 says, “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.”

Much of the Bible’s teaching about wealth is a warning against putting trust in wealth rather than in the Lord (e.g., 1 Timothy 6:17-18) or to the detriment of those who depend on us (e.g., Ecclesiastes 5:13-14). As long as we honor our commitments to God and our families with our money, and maintain a spirit of generosity and thankfulness, investing is an option Christians can consider.

Not yet, it's just too early for that. Always will be.

It's too early to get discouraged.
Yeah, tomorrow is too.

1 Corinthians 9:24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;

2 Corinthians 5:7 for we walk by faith, not by sight.

Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Philippians 4:19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 1:6-9 In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

Psalm 34:17-19 When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Psalm 55:22 Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.

Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Isaiah 40:31 but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah 42:16 And I will lead the blind in a way that they do not know, in paths that they have not known I will guide them. I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground. These are the things I do, and I do not forsake them.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Are you caught up in real rest, or in this worldly mess?

“If you look at the world, you'll be distressed. If you look within, you'll be depressed. If you look at God you'll be at rest.” ― Corrie Ten Boom

If you focus on people they will sometimes let you down. Might not even want to let you down. I’ve done that before. Focus on this world-system or the circumstance of life, you won’t be impressed. Focus on Christ and enter His rest. Nicest spot to be.

Never wanna forget her wise words, “Look without and grow distressed. Look within and be depressed. Look at Jesus and BE AT REST.” #emp-mine

Looking without, Corrie really had good reason to feel distressed inside. She actually lived in  the  Ravensbrück KZ (Concentration camp) during World War Two.

Corrie saw her sister and father—and many others—suffer unspeakable pain and then die at the hands of the Nazis in there.

Looking within, she felt depressed as she saw the darkness of her own heart. Any of us can do that if we choose, but why opt for living inverted?

But seeing the primary example of her dear godly sister Betsy, (Christ) who tended to live seein’ the bright side of everything (upbeat and pretty positive of mind) and was always so full of joy trusting God. Corrie remembered Betsy’s pattern of (a thankful, praising) lifestyle.

Not sure, but I think it was the Apostle Paul who wrote (..cuz he spoke of our gaze and race) this here, “Since we have such a huge crowd of men of faith watching us from the grandstands, let us strip off anything that slows us down or holds us back, and especially those sins that wrap themselves so tightly around our feet and trip us up; and let us run with patience the particular race that God has set before us. Keep your eyes on Jesus, our leader and instructor. He was willing to die a shameful death on the cross because of the joy he knew would be his afterwards; and now he sits in the place of honor by the throne of God.”  Hebrews 12:1-2

The Bible also speaks of Abraham and how he, "did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform" Romans 4:20-21

That word “waver” here used in this verse could also be translated "stagger." It would imply that this unwavering walk of Abraham took place with his eyes fixed on the Word -- on God’s promise. We too can do that!

I never want to let my friends or others down. Wanna live above reproach as a good example....yes, even when the trails of life or my old fleshly nature tells me to do otherwise.

"You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character, Because he trusts and takes refuge in You with hope and confident expectation." Isaiah 26:3 amp fish4souls.org

Maximize your time, your every moment in the will of God. Make the most of every opportunity for His glory. He’s been so faithful.

My Rock and my fortress is there for you as well. Hey Sport, keep your eyes dead-bolted on. Lock on -- have your eyes fixed on Christ, the Prince of Peace daily. Yes, that will keep you moving forward spiritually, because the only way we will make it as Christians is by keeping our eyes on Jesus Christ.

Do you know the Lord yet? You can right now. Come as you are.. not to me, but to Him. Turn to, trust in, repent -- admit it and quit it if you've been into sinnin'.

You are either moving towards your real riches or moving away from them, you and I and every one.. choose. To what or whom have you given your life to? What or who is your master passion here?

You are either saved or lost, walking in the light, or in the dark.. freely forgiven or not yet. Jesus taught that you are either for him or against him, you are either gathering with him or scattering away. Who do you influence.. for good or for bad? Read some more (Blog)?

Do ya really communicate? Candidly, heart to heart? Do ya really let it go and forgive.. you know, what should be let go of? All of it? “Nothing can bring a real sense of security into the home except true love.” – Billy Graham

Factoid: Did ya know that 80% of divorces in the USA have been unilateral (..wanted by one stubborn person, not to say there hasn't been wrongs done on both sides). You know we’re all flawed people. Some married sadly do make more foolish blunders than others of course. Divorce happens due to the hardening of a heart or two hearts. Don’t allow it.

You don’t learn to fly a play by only studying how to crash one. You don’t learn to win a war by only studying how to retreat well. Please study and apply the Bible on how to love and respect your spouse.

People often say, but our kids are resilient. They can be crushed. How will they know they are loved by any who say they love them?

Young people are now going into a marriage today thinking it probably won’t last, but listen. The dissolution of a marriage is not at all a normal thing to accept. You are loved no matter what by God, and here’s the original plan -- live together in intimacy as long as you live! Yeah, praying, looking to the Lord to meet all your needs.. until death do you part. Stay faithful both upwards and with your spouse. Have fidelity sexually and in all other ways too, like in your mind. Nice looking weddings will happen all the way to the end here, but the One who thought marriage up knows well how to make it work. Prayerfully study His Book to wisely apply.

Far from a good thing, divorce is a real tragedy. God loves divorcees, but really hates divorce. I’m not trying to rub salt into a wound or point a finger of accusation to make people feel bad. There’s zero condemnation for those in Christ.

No fear, running on ahead of your Lord, or foolish haste. He promised to meet your needs so claim his promises for you. Statistics show us that most people do get married at least once. I don’t desire drinks or a marriage that’s on the rocks -- you don’t either

“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:12

“When I have learned to love God better than my earthly dearest, I shall love my earthly dearest better than I do now.” ~ C.S. Lewis

"A good marriage is the union of two good forgivers." ~ Ruth Bell Graham

“Christian marriage is marked by discipline and self-denial. Christianity does not therefore depreciate marriage, it sanctifies it.” ~  Dietrich Bonhoeffer

“Two are better than one because they have a more satisfying return for their labor; for if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and does not have another to lift him up. Again, if two lie down together, then they keep warm; but how can one be warm alone? And though one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.“ Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

“For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh." Genesis 2:24

Prep now -- smart. You know so called storms come and go to smart and to other couples too -- so live ready.. for anything. Those people attacked, didn’t know they would be. Didn’t know they’d be ripped off or hurt or worse. Choose to live awake with the Holy Spirit edifying, comforting, guiding you daily. Yes, think ahead, ditch your wrong-doin’s. Choose life. Plan thoroughly.. well -- live spiritually well. Too many go it spiritually sick inside and that’s overrated. Think of others ahead of yourself. “Love..always protects.” 1 Cor. 13. .. Fish4souls.org

Opt to be two wise forgivers, that marriage full of heartache can be fully restored.

Peter told us that "Love covers a multitude of sins" (1 Peter 4:8). True. God is love, though love is not God. Fisherman Pete echoes the proverb, "Hatred stirs up strife but love covers all sins" (Proverbs 10:12). Yeah, some think that one person's love can blot out.. wash away another person's sin. True -- Jesus can. Need a new beginning? Inside forgive others and ask. Do you ever pause and pray together for God to meet the needs that you weren’t desired to meet in each other. Aim to meet as many as ya can and pray together.. that’s really the most intimate thing you can do together.
