Happy Easter to you!

He was physically dead, but now is risen -- Christ is. The tomb is empty. Has an echo in there.

You know euphemisms are a way to convey something without actually saying a specific word ..that may be considered too unpopular, too awkward, too blunt, or just too direct in our society. Like with the term, "Death."

Did ya know our society has over 200 different ways to say or describe death and dying. Yup does!

I often use the funny ways to refer to death.. with my friends.. but not when near those who have lost a loved one. Some polite Euphemisms etc for it are..

  • Asleep
  • At Home
  • At Peace
  • At Rest
  • Kicked The Bucket
  • Passed
  • Expired
  • Bravely Fought ___ (insert the applicable condition or disease)
  • Called Home (It’s amazing how almost 100% think they were)
  • Called Away To His or Her Reward (Some won’t like their reward)
  • Deceased
  • Reached room temperature
  • Slipped Away Quietly
  • Succumbed
  • Swan Song
  • Taken By ___ (insert the applicable condition, disease, or accident)
  • Bereft Of Life
  • Bid Adieu To Earthly Scenes
  • Said Farewell To This World
  • Entered The Regions Of Immortal Felicity
  • Eternal Sabbath
  • Exchanged Worlds
  • Fought The Good Fight (in reference to 2 Timothy 4:7)
  • Was Gathered To His People
  • Gave Up The Ghost
  • Got Their Wings
  • Bought The Farm
  • Cash In One’s Chips
  • Is Checkin’ Out The Grass From The Other Side (Underneath)
  • Climbed The Golden Staircase
  • Dirt Nap
  • Final Curtain Call
  • Went Into The Fertilizer Business
  • Became Worm Food
  • Went To Davy Jones’s Locker
  • Juggling Halos Now (..as if!)
  • Was Just Stamped “Return To Sender”
  • Kicked The Oxygen Habit

People just don’t want to say or think about that “D” word. Often, when theories of death and what happens after death are discussed, you might hear “We think..,” “We hope..,” but hey guess what.. the Bible uses these two words, “We know!” (See 2 Corinthians 5:1). I like that, cuz it’s kind of an important subject huh. Knowing is far better than guessing, and being ready sure beats almost ready. The Bible says...

"Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life." 1 John 5:12-13

We know our time on earth and our bodies on earth (as they are now) are temporary, and our permanent residence and a new body awaits each of us up in heaven. He’s your mansion builder. Is that a really big home there, or a new body for you?

In his book “The Grave Robber,” author Mark Batterson says,

There is nothing wrong with wanting to live a long life, but death isn’t something we (spiritually reborn believers) dread. Death was defeated two thousand years ago. And to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. So death is something we can actually anticipate because it’s not the end. It’s a new beginning. And many miracles we hoped for on earth will finally be fulfilled in heaven.

Remember post-resurrection how Christ ate fish with the guys. Jesus still has a physical body today, and he can fly so to speak. Think about His ascension on up. You and I will one day have resurrected bodies like His body is, and we’ll get to do stuff he does. And one day soon the Rapture will happen. And one day after the Second Coming the third heaven that’s beyond the second heaven with all those stars will come down -- heaven and earth will become one here during the millenium here with him as our King.

Take heart, believer. Be encouraged in Christ today. You can say the “D” word without any fear or doubt! Jesus chose to take up residence in His earthly body, and He willingly laid down His life so that He could be physically resurrected and then take up residence in you by His Holy Spirit. You are bought with a price, and at that moment when you turn (repent), and trust the Lord (believe with saving faith).. at the moment of your salvation, God, through His Spirit, takes up residence in your body, and your life is no longer your own. It’s His! You are a brand new creation. The old is gone and the new has come!

Give praise to God, for you are fearfully and wonderfully made. The Bible declares that you are God’s masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10). Dwell in that beautiful truth. God specifically thought of you. God delights in you. God desires for you to love Him and to glorify Him with the life He has so freely given you.

As Paul tells us, death has no victory and has lost its sting because Jesus has conquered the grave!

“I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish.. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.” John 10:28-29

Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). Not my will, Your’s is far better (Read more on heaven).

Because He lives and you are in His hands, you too, shall live forever! Secure!

John 1:12 - But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God--

John 5:24 - Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life.

John 20:31 - But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name.

1 John 1:2 - And this is the life that was revealed; we have seen it and testified to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was revealed to us.

1 John 2:25 - And this is the promise that He Himself made to us: eternal life.

1 John 3:23 - And this is His commandment: that we should believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and we should love one another just as He commanded us.

1 John 4:9 - This is how God's love was revealed among us: God sent His one and only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him.

1 John 5:11 - And this is that testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

1 John 5:20 - And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true--in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

God’s hands are big enough to bless you. Jesus would lay his hands on people and bless them. He does the same for you. Isaiah 62:3 says, “The Lord will hold you in his hand for all to see—a splendid crown in the hand of God” (NLT).

God’s hands are scarred to never forget you. In heaven, the only scars will be on Jesus. Do you think God can forget you? He has a constant reminder of you in his nail-scarred hands. The Bible says, “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion for the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands” (Isaiah 49:15-16 NIV).

God’s hands are strong enough to keep you eternally secure. John 10:28-29 says, “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish . . . My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand” (NIV. Rick Warren on hands).

Come to Jesus.. or come back to Him as you are. Clean your own life up and then come? No, better idea -- come to Jesus now as you are..but willing to be changed..willing to cooperate as He cleans you up. This fisherman catches his fish so to speak and then cleans em all from the inside out. Just know that His sanctification is a lifetime process.

Once you turn, trust and put your life in God’s hands, then nobody can snatch you out of them. You may wonder, “Can’t a person just jump out?” How big and strong do you think your loving Father’s hands really are? Death can’t even take you away from God.

1. What is the meaning of Easter? Yeah, what does Easter even mean?

2. What is the origin of the Easter bunny and Easter eggs? Due to the pagan origins of the Easter bunny and Easter eggs, should Christians participate in all that stuff?

3. Should Christians celebrate Easter? Should Christians observe the Easter holiday? Is Easter truly a Christian celebration?

4. Is Easter a pagan holiday? Does the Easter holiday have pagan origins? Does Easter come from paganism?

5. What are the origins of Easter? How did the Easter holiday originate? Where did the Easter celebration come from?

6. What is it really for.. Easter Sunday? What does Easter have to do with Jesus’ resurrection? shouldn’t Easter be called Resurrection Sunday?

7. Why do we celebrate Easter? Why should we celebrate Easter? Is Easter a holiday that is worth celebrating?

8. Who was Ishtar, and is there any connection between Ishtar and Easter? Is the word Easter derived from Ishtar or Eostre?

9. What is an Easter Vigil? Should..or How should a Christian observe an Easter Vigil?

10. How is or was the date for Easter determined?

11. Got some more Questions about Easter? Where did all those Easter traditions come from? Are they really necessary? Should Christians even be into all those?

12. Huh!.. What is Easter Monday? What happened on the Monday after Jesus’ death and resurrection?

13. Need an Easter Bible reading plan?

14. Should Christians celebrate Easter on Sunday? On a Sunday can Christians actually participate in the aspects of Easter that have pagan origins?

15. What is Pascha and how is that related to Easter? Why does Pascha fall on a different day than Easter?

16. Sup with the Christian and Holidays?

Is Jesus really physically alive now? Yep. Lots of eyewitnesses saw him post-tomb.

Sup with all that prevents me from celebrating this Historical event that can impact my life today?

What happens when you let the fleshly nature have its way? The flesh demands more and more and more. Never satisfied inside you. I say crucify the fleshly nature.

Just say NO to the flesh with its perv-passions. Instead, have red hot passion for the Spirit and His will for you. That’s way better -- God loves you!

What to do with the fleshly nature in me -- starve it to death, don’t feed it only to hear it yell for MORE. (Starve you? No, not you, your old nature that craves all that is not good for you). Feed your human spirit with the truth of the word.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

“For a soul is far too precious to be ransomed by mere earthly wealth. There is not enough of it in all the earth to buy eternal life for just one soul, to keep it out of hell.” Psalm 49:8-9

"We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true.." 1 John 5:19-20.

And say NO to this corrupt world system, but say YES to the Jesus of the Bible. Do not be conformed to this world system. Die to self daily, live pure in heart, disciplined with Jesus as Lord, and come alive into God. Regardless of how you feel cuz feelings can be so fickle. Live in the word. Yes, intimately, godly, on-fire, obediently with JOY. Not religiously cold or luke-warm spiritually. (See Gal. 5:16-24, Rom. 12:1-2)

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45

I so enjoy Easter only cuz I love my time with Him. Think about it, if Jesus didn’t die on that lonely cross on Calvary’s hill for you and me, and if He didn’t rise again from the dead on the third day.. then nothing matters. We should just feast, suck down a lot of beer and party hardy. Sure, like a proverbial wild party animal (all that’d be moronic huh. Sin is never a good idea, cuz it destroys lives and God hates it). Come to Him now..candidly, bodly, humbly.

"What good has it done me if, merely from a human point of view, I fought with wild animals at Ephesus? If the dead are not raised at all, let us eat and drink enjoying ourselves now, for tomorrow we die." ~ Paul, 1 Corinthians 15:32 amp

“Right after Jesus died on the cross: The earth shook, and rocks broke, and tombs opened, and many godly men and women who had died came back to life again. After Jesus’ resurrection, they left the cemetery and went into Jerusalem, and appeared to many people there.” Matthew 27:51-53

Go with me...

It sure beats here now.. even on your best day here. I want to see His wonderful face. Christ's!

image

You and I will be given new bodies, believer. It'll still be you for sure, all you and people will recognize you there.. just a wonderfully upgraded version of you if ya will. New and improved.. YOU! We’ll be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye (some say that's 1/6th of a nano second). We’ll go up into the third heaven to be with our loving Father (Sure, you know clouds are in the first, and stars are up in the second heaven, but there's a better one).

Let’s talk about this cool destination. Wanna think on Heaven and how to go there.

Did ya know that 76% of people believe in Heaven, and 71% of them believe there is an actual place called Heaven (from Newsweek “Visions of Heaven”). And 19% of people believe heaven looks like a garden, 13% believe heaven is a city, and 17% simply said that they simply do not know.

But Heaven is indeed a city, it’s a country, it is paradice! Hell was made for fallen angels, I’ve never understood why anybody insists upon going there. It ain’t a party and there is no love in Hell.

Big understatement for ya here...

Heaven > Hell

The best of earth here falls short -- it’s a pale version of heaven in a way. One day heaven and earth will merge into one -- yep, during the millenium. I wanna be there and see it happen!

One study showed that most Americans actually do believe in a place called “Heaven,” 81 percent. The stats were a bit lower for that real place called “Hell,” And what were those stats? Well, 69 percent of the people said they believe in a place called hell.

"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and I will take you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also." John 14:3 amp

Jesus said, "In my Father's house are many mansions, and if it were not so, I would have told you. And if I go, I'll come again and receive you unto myself, and where I go, you know, and the way you know," and good old Thomas then responded with something like, Excuse me Sir, we don't know where you're headed, and we don't know the way. I'm so glad he asked that question, 'cause I think a lot of times, Jesus would say something, and all the other disciples would then nod in unison. That is so good. I like how honest Thomas was. So candid. Like, I have no idea what you're even talking about, Lord. What do you even mean by all that.. when you say, where you go, we know the way, we know..really? We don't know where you're going, and we don't want you going.. and You say we know the way. And what did Jesus say to Tom? "I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no man comes of the Father but by me."

Now we all know.. Jesus is the way to where we want to go.

Me thinks that most people long for that place Heaven..that we've never been to before. Have you ever traveled for a while especially in the mountains or overseas.. and found yourself feeling homesick? Wanting to go home again? It happens, especially for those who serve far away in the Armed Forces (I have a couple sons and a brother that did as a Marine). Me thinks that many people who do business in other Lands like overseas get feeling homesick too. They just can't wait to get back home to their families again.

Me thinks that  deep down inside God has pre wired us all to be homesick for a real place that we've never been to before called Heaven. We get longing for Heaven.

The Bible teaches us in Ecclesiastes 3:11, that God has said eternity in our hearts.

"He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end." Ecclesiastes 3:11 amp

“He hath made everything beautiful in its time: also he hath set eternity in their heart, yet so that man cannot find out the work that God hath done from the beginning even to the end.“ asv

“He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.” nlt

God does abandon some people to their sins. If they really insist, He let’s them have what they demand to have. It’s a judgement of God that he gives them up to what they choose and crave. Hey Sport, choose not to be stubborn, and obey the Lord instead.

It was Augustine who said “You formed us for yourself and our hearts are restless until they find their rest in you.”

It was CS Lewis who said “eternity in our hearts” is the “secret signature of each soul.”

Lewis went on to explain, There have been times when I think we don’t desire Heaven, but more often than that, “I find myself wondering whether in our heart of hearts if we have ever desired anything else.”

This is the secret signature of each soul, the incommunicable, unseen by most.. an unappeasable inner want and longing.

What’s this longing like in our terms? It's kind of like that old story of the little boy who was flying this kite way up high. It went up and up, higher and higher and soon people couldn't even see it anymore. It was obscured by all the cloud on that day. Then a passerby asked the boy “How do you know that kite's still up there? The little boy responded saying I can still feel its tug.

And I too think that deep down inside, you too feel the tug of Heaven. Listen, each one of us need to pause, turn, trust (the Jesus of the Bible), and get ready in advance. Yep, it’s sort of like our preparation to go visit a wonderful, awesome, really popular hotel. We each must make our reservations in advance.

May I ask.. What would prevent you from coming to God through His Son, Jesus, I mean to get right with God the Father right now? Anything? Would you bow your heart and head and pray something like I did.. like this...

Lord Jesus, I know we’ve all blown it with sin which can be fun for a season. I too am a sinner and admit it to you, but I know you're the Savior who died on the cross at Calvary in my place.. for my sin.. and then rose again from the dead on the third day. Please change me. Right now in the best way I know how, I repent. I turn from my sin to You, Jesus. Yes, I choose to know, to obey, to follow you from here on out. You can impower me to live the life, cuz I can’t alone. Yes, from this moment forward I choose to love You. Please forgive me, be my Savior, my Lord, my God, and my closest Friend. Write my name down in the Lamb’s book of Life. I want it logged in there indelibly. Thank you for calling me and washing me, Jesus. I am so grateful for You forgiving me. Please use, provide for, and keep me.. in Your name I pray, amen.

Ever heard or tweaked in prayer.. the original "serenity prayer"?

So many issues in the USA today for us to address. Believers can be change agents by faith. I want to be, to pray and to act practical so that others can be helped. Let's leave this world better off than how we found it. Why not, we're better off.. not better than.. just better off. Practical living starts on two knees for us, as we rely on God to use us in making things better. We can glorify the Lord by being his reps here.
I've run into some wonderful people and more than one group that prays the "Serenity prayer" like daily. Yes, some in every meeting they hold. It's interesting to look at the wording, but have you ever see the original prayer?
"God, give us grace to accept with serenity the things that cannot be changed,

Courage to change the things which should be changed, and the Wisdom to distinguish the one from the other.

Living one day at a time,

Enjoying one moment at a time,

Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace,

Taking, as Jesus did,

This sinful world as it is,

Not as I would have it,

Trusting that You will make all things right,

If I surrender to Your will,

So that I may be reasonably happy in this life,

And supremely happy with You forever in the next. Amen." ~ Herr Reinhold Neibuhr, Friedrich Oetinger, Boethius in 500 AD

Praying in Jesus' name.. I personally like to verbally tweak this prayer. Yes, to personalize it, to customize all of such prayers on occasion ..according to the word and my/our own needs at the time.. and you can too if you like. A personal vertical relationship allows for us to personalize.

There are so many issues to consider on our prayer lists. Like what?
When our borders open for the diseased and infected before our schools do for healthy kids.. you'll know you obeyed only to have been played.
Hiking, hiking, hiking, hiking, hiking, hikin’ north.  We get it.  I enjoy hiking to a much better destination where wonderful people reside.. even if the Land is temporarily led by foolish leaders.
If America is such a horrible, racist country as the Liberals and their media want you to believe, then why are there more and more caravans of immigrants hiking  over thousands of miles just to get in?
Some things remain simply out of our control, but we can control our own thinkin’, attitudes and behavior and witness well to many people. One by one or won to more than one. Yep, God can use us to win these strangers headed our way. That are now in my town.

"The Lord is fair in everything He does and full of kindness." Psalm 145:17

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!” Lamentations 3:22,23

“Wise people keep what they know to themselves, but fools can’t keep from showing how foolish they are.” Proverbs 12:23

America has what’s like a petrified stump as president now, with a pliable and totally corrupt press willing to go along with the charade to continue to dupe the people (personal opinion for whatever that's worth). Factoids...

2017 — “Kids were in cages at the border!”

 2018 — “Kids in cages!”

 2019 — “Kids in cages!”

 2020 — “Kids in cages!”

2021 “To be clear, while technically minors, what we’re talking about here are mostly 16- and 17-year olds, most of them males. These aren’t young children.”

Bottomline.. sin has consequences, yep. repercussions. This is an invasion, not good for any here or for those incoming. Is completely foolish. Sadly, it’s DC against the American people. Everything going wrong in America (including in families) today is due to people’s sin. Everything whack policywise in the USA is the Uniparty (GOP Rinos with the Democrats) fault. Yep, Joe Biden and his party’s fault. Lord, help our nation.

Musing on this today: 40,000 people are on the rolls as members in my local church in Plano -- makes one wonder. Billy Graham estimated that 70% of all churchgoers are spiritually lost. Going to a healthy church is important but knowing the Lord is far better. It's imperative, Bucheroo.
Q. Did you know what hypocrite means.. to wear a mask. : )
Religion is external, judgemental, hypocritical, legalistic, temporal, and all about works and fakeness and death, but the Gospel is internal, life giving, just, eternal and real. Jesus is alive, honest, and just.
"..the restoration of the church will surely come only from a new type of monasticism which has nothing in common with the old, but a complete lack of compromise in a life lived in accordance with the Sermon on the Mount in the discipleship of Christ.  I think it is time to gather people together to do this..'" ~ Dietrich Bonhoeffer (martyred during the '40s for taking a stand for Christ)
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness! Lamentations 3:22, 23

"There is a conflict from time to time with science and scriptural teaching. But I don't think there's a conflict as it relates to vaccines. Jesus would endorse vaccines. Based on the parable of the Good Samaritan in the Bible, I would have to say — yes, I think Jesus Christ would advocate for people using vaccines and medicines to treat suffering and save lives. Vaccines have worked for polio, smallpox, measles, the flu and so many other deadly illnesses — why not for this virus?” ~ Franklin Graham

You and I have a part to play here. You and I don't want to go beyond God's word and will for each of us. We really don't want to live outside of God's word and will, believer. In 1 Corinthians 4:6, the Apostle Paul uses metaphors and images saying: “..that you may learn by us not to go beyond what is written..” What?
Well, when Paul talks about what “is written,” he is invariably referring to the writings that are 100% true. What's going to become part of your Bible. Yes, he's referring to the truth of ScriptureSo considering the world's issues locally or nationally, what's kind of an example of how I might get spontaneous with Herr Reinhold Neibuhr's prayer today?
- Dear God, please give me Your strong GRACE, ANOINTING, and DUNAMIS POWER with godly WISDOM to simply accept the things that I CANNOT CHANGE. Yes, so that I can learn from You, and really KNOW what You want AND DO NOT WANT me involved with doing here, or WOULD NOT HAVE ME EVEN TRYING TO CHANGE on my own by my limited power here. Refill me with Your Spirit. My world seems to be getting more messed up each year. And I can't witness well, or live this Christian life by my own power. Who among us can?

- God, please give me Your strong grace, fresh anointing, peace, dunamis-Power, great wisdom and courage TO CHANGE THE THINGS I CAN CHANGE right here in your will. I mean, the things that You do want me involved with.. involved in wisely changing for your glory. People need solutions and You are the Ultimate Solution for us all. Lord, help me live this way each day. Right in the middle of Your will, not going beyond even one step outside Your plan. Help me to know in my knower the small and big steps to take, even all the specifics in Your will for me. Jesus, help me find and do the work and ministry that you have planned for me to take part in. Be glorified. Help me see the good opportunities that You place before me.

- God, in Jesus' Name please give me Your strong grace today, Your dunamis-power, discernment, clear understanding, insight, and wisdom to know the difference of what I need to take on.. to change.. or just need to completely leave alone.. so that I can walk in the will of God pleasing You.. yes, real close with You.

Ouch. Got some of that..or a whole lot?

Have you suffered loss? So SO sorry about that.

Was it your career or some friends? Has someone died, attacked, or ditched you?

Where will you run to, in what direction?

Don’t go hurt yourself.. or others. God hurts with you -- He understands and is there for ya. Can fully comfort and restore. Can give beauty for handfuls of ashes. Was betrayed and sent to a cruel cross. Didn't do anything wrong..ever!

"You have taken account of my wanderings; put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not recorded in Your book?" Psalm 56:8

Did you trust, and then get burned? Don’t get bitter, get better. There’s actually life beyond the betrayal, after bein’ ripped off, or the rejection, or miscarriage, or great loss. But where

Jesus is 100% RIGHT for everything WRONG in your life and Land.

Back in the day He suffered for you and me, but is now alive and free from that.

He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Yep, he hasn't changed.

I don't want religion or this lame world system. I'd rather have Christ more than anything.

Am thinking about the 40,000 people are on the rolls as members in my local church in Plano. It kind of makes one wonder. Billy Graham estimated that 70% of all churchgoers are spiritually lost. Going to a healthy church is important but knowing the Lord is far better. It's imperative, Bucheroo.

Q. Did you know what hypocrite means.. to wear a mask. : )

A real biblical revival and a 5th great awakening could help to restore a whole lot here. So many need God's healing and comfort.

I’m glad that there aren’t multiple gods, but only one who spoke the truth in love. Less complicated that way. God is love, simple huh – and He and His great love are so alive today. True. God loves you and me everyday!

Yep, and there’s only one way to this God of love — through Jesus Christ, who said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14: 6). The essence of truth is the Lord Himself.

- Truth frees us. Jesus said, “You shall know the truth, and the truth
shall make you free” (John 8:32).
- Truth guides us. “When He, the [Holy] Spirit of truth, has come, He
will guide you into all truth” (John 16:13).
- Truth guards us. When we “receive the love of the truth,” we arm
ourselves against the insidious power of deception (see 2 Thessalonians 2:10 and Matthew 24:4).

What was the primary plan of Paul the Apostle? To biblically worship the Lord. And then what? “To make known the truth that there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus” (see 1 Timothy 2: 5).

Are you a high school student? Perhaps you are. You know lying and cheating are art forms today. Are you in college? Objective truth is daily ridiculed on today’s campuses. Are you in business? Too often, truth is abandoned for expediency and financial gain.

Lord, I really don't want to suffer more, or cause that for someone else... but am willing to suffer for the truth of Your word. Help me obey and follow You.

But you matter and truth matters. God calls on us as believers to know and hold fast to the truth, no matter the cost. “Buy the truth and do not sell it.” Proverbs 23:23. I dare ya if I may to.. tactfully, prayerfully, respectfully go share the truth with your friends
