People are completely depraved but God is sovereign. He'll have the final say.

People are are hungry for peace and hope. They can be satisfied in Christ and filled with joy. They are so afraid today.. afraid of antifa and violence and BLM in politicians and other crimes.
It seems like things have accelerated downwards and darker in the world.

Am determined to shine and let let em seek what they will. It's not really our light to reflect.

The more I study God's kind providence and his strong sovereignty in the Bible.. the more peace I sense inside.

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?

Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.

John 6:44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.

Ephesians 2:1-3 And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.

1 Corinthians 2:14 The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Genesis 6:5 The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Psalm 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb; they go astray from birth, speaking lies.

Romans 3:10-11 As it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God.

John 6:65 And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.”

Romans 8:7 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot.

Isaiah 64:6 We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a polluted garment. We all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.

Ephesians 2:3 Among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.

Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned—

Jeremiah 13:23 Can the Ethiopian change his skin or the leopard his spots? Then also you can do good who are accustomed to do evil.

Ephesians 2:1 And you were dead in the trespasses and sins

Ephesians 4:18 They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to their hardness of heart.

Romans 7:18 For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out.

Romans 3:12 All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.”

Ecclesiastes 7:20 Surely there is not a righteous man on earth who does good and never sins.

Genesis 8:21 And when the Lord smelled the pleasing aroma, the Lord said in his heart, “I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intention of man's heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done.

Romans 3:10-12 As it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.”

Romans 8:7-8 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

Romans 1:21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

You, me, we can clearly see if we want. We can live hopeful, full of JOY, and even mourn at the same time. Have you suffered loss? You can still travel on purpose! I mean with the eternal purpose that God has for you. We can be winsome and win some. Not to you win, but to Jesus!

"There Are None So Blind As Those Who Will Not See." ~ John Heywood

Who Will Not See What Is Actually There To See.  Who Simply Opt Not To And Go With The Media Instead.  It's Easier Cuz Propaganda Worked And Works.

"Now hear this, O foolish people without heart, Who have eyes but do not see, Who have ears but do not hear." Jeremiah 5:21

You, my friend are living right before the days of a one world government as God has described. I’m not trying to scare anyone. Are you Harpazo (rapture) ready? You can be. Come to...come back to Christ today! Here and now, don’t put it off.

Believer, ”..since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and the helmet of our hope of salvation. For God has not appointed us to suffer wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with Him.” 1 Thessalonians 5:9

There are indeed better days ahead, believer. If you’re not one, please do fear.

Have you been robbed lately? Have you suffered loss? Mourn the loss in Christ. He’s still our living hope. See and focus on Him.

Hey, the messenger's duty so to speak.. ain't that all believe. It's simply to deliver the Message clearly, in their respective language. Never take it personal when loved ones don’t believe you. That’s between them and God (as well as what they will contend with in the future). I’ve tried to do my best to warn and deliver the Message.

Sure, be encouraged in the Lord. Recall Noah and Lot back in the day...out delivering the Message that warns.. that would save people. People have far more value than mere animals though God loves them as well.

I say travel on purpose -- the eternal purpose that God has for you. Be winsome..and win some. Not to you, but Jesus!

Opt to be a worldchanger at the end of the world so to speak. Remember Noah and Lot both lived at the end of the world....each at the end of their world.. Easy to see around you..you’re living in the Last Days. You know it, at least in your last days. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled - 100% as God said.

Think. Which bible character had hearers that refused to hear em and believe? I think of Jeremiah, Noah and Lot.

The last two each lived at the end of their world if ya will.. right before a cataclysm arrived on earth. Noah built a big boat and he won his family over to faith in the one living God, but Lot got a couple daughters out of town, away from the danger zone. You remember how his wife turned and looked in longing for that worldly place and got judged. Man, Lots' relatives didn't want to listen to him or follow. Did they feel they had too much to lose there? Was it due to his lame example that Lot set that he couldn't even get his own wife to safety

"Then the Lord said to Noah, 'Come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before Me in this generation.'" Gen. 7:1

Got questions? Does the Bible prophesy of a one-world government and a one-world currency in these end times?

Will bitcoin or some cryptocurrency be the one-world currency of the end times?

What is this last days Illuminati conspiracy? Is it even real?

What even is the New World Order?

Is this now popular Marxism, Socialism, and Communism even compatible with the Christian faith?

We love the Bible Trinity (God), but what is the unholy trinity in the end times? Mr. Lu-Cifer (Satan) is still such a liar and counterfeiter. He’s called the god of this age, the prince of the power of the air. Would evil rulers, liberal Big Tech heads, Social Media CEOs and the news media actually collude in lying to us over the airwaves?

What does it mean that Satan is prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2:2)?

Got more questions about Angels and the fallen ones - Demons? Or about Satan? Does he actually exist? Is he a spirit?

Does Satan ever have the power to control the end times weather?

How is Satan god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4)?

Does the Bible say the United Nations will have a role in the end times?

What is this last days New Age movement all about?

What are some reasons for the animosity between Christians and (the now popular in this world Islam) Muslims?

Is there supposed to be only one legitimate Church with Christ as head?

In these end times how should a Christian view politics?

How do I get to heaven - and what are the ideas from the different religions on this?

Got more questions about the End Times?

How should a last days Christian gun owner respond to a government gun-grab, buy back or confiscation?

So many rich open border globalists these days, even in DC. How should Christians view all these so called refugees?

Should a Christian be opposed to globalization?

Christians in the Church should indeed unify around Christ and Essentials, but in this world are we all to do that? Our DC leaders are now crying out for UNITY, UNITY, UNITY as they act divisively.

"Unity, unity! Biden can mouth the word ‘unity’ all he wants. It’s a lie. Democrats don’t want unity. They want to censor us, ban us, purge us, wipe away American history like it never happened, and then intimidate us into meekly going along with it all. They want us kneeling and saying ‘thank you’ while they destroy America and the American way of life. That’s what they mean by ‘unity.’ So, you can take your unity and shove..” ~ Wayne A. Root

Did Jesus come to bring peace on earth or come to bring division? Will the spiritual goats really be separated from spiritual sheep for eternity?

What does it mean that Jesus is the answer, or ultimate Solution for people?

What will it really be like in the end times, with the one-world religion?

What does it mean to gain the whole world but lose your soul? Should I trust in my big fat 401K or in my other financial investments..even though financial investments have totally failed in past history? #The40s

Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be." Matthew 6:19-21

Then I will say to myself, ‘You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take it easy. Eat, drink, and be merry!’ But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be required of you. Then who will own what you have accumulated?’ This is how it will be for anyone who stores up treasure for himself but is not rich toward God.”  Luke 12:19-21

We don’t really see the USA in Bible prophecy. Perhaps we’re the young lions of Tarshish. Is the United States really a Christian nation?

Is there such a thing as absolute truth or universal truth in these end times?

image

USA in Bible prophecy? Naww, I can’t find us, but God still has a good plan for us.. for your life too.

“The merchants of Tarshish and ‘the young lions (the colonies) thereof’ must include the Western nations of Europe and Americans, particularly the United States.” ~ Steuart McBirnie & David Allen Lewis  Fish4souls.orgFish4souls.org

We read in the Old Testament of “ships of Tarshish” which were large, oceangoing vessels (Ezk 27:25) that carried all sorts of precious cargo, especially metals such as silver and gold (I Kgs 10:22; 22:48; II Chr 9:21; Isa 60:9; Jer 10:9; Ezk 38:13) as well as iron, tin, and lead (Ezk 27:12).9. Some say “Tarshish is England, and some say it’s ancient Tartessus in the present-day nation of Spain.

Simply.. sayin’ what the Book says and then remaining silent where it’s silent.

Perhaps you've also noticed. Our nation is in such dire straits both spiritually and morally.

A lot of people have simply lost hope here in the USA. How about where you live?

Politics alone can't help us turn this nation around, cuz let's say you go vote, well that vote can be stolen by Dominion. So many things have been tried..and have failed. Moralizing sinnes doesn't help. We all need a brand new nature inside.

Or what if the leader becomes corrupt like our current leader. There's evidence. Some people cheat and their leaders cheat.

These things have happened so many times, in so many lands. I've seen the evidence of this stuff myself.

The only hope for our nation is the proclamation of the Christian Gospel in the power of Christ's Spirit. Why? Well, cuz the living word (Jesus) is the ultimate solution for any person or Land. So go, "preach the word."

I don't see anything else that can turn our nation around. Let's earnestly pray for a genuine revival and a biblical spiritual Awakening for our people and Land. Let's lovingly preach the gospel in a non-preachy way.

Teach the word simply. Many people have changed their moral code to fit their personal behavior instead of changing their behavior to harmonize with God's moral code in the word. Bad idea. Do not be conformed to this world -- worship and serve the Lord biblically.

"But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." John 4:23-24

When we simply preach or teach the Scriptures simply, we basically open the door for the Holy Spirit to do His work in people's lives, because as believers this is what the Lord through His Spirit told us to go do. You know preaching doesn't have to be all preachy or religious.

Ask what did the author want to communicate to the audience back then? He didn't write to us but for us. Are there any cultural differences between then and there, and the here and now? What's the takeaway--what are the eternal truths that apply to our us in day and age and to this specific personal situation? The word is His will, and the Great commission is our mission.

Use some righteous bait that the fish like (so to speak) and put a hook into every opportunity. That might sound crazy, but what I mean is use a band or a sport or a movie etc.. to draw em that doesn't have contradictory weirdness with it. Measure your life, your choices and message against God's words in the Bible. No spiritual compromise.

You want the people to hear God's message (the gospel, about the death burial and resurrection of Christ), perhaps some from your own story on what God did to convict, draw, and save you...and to be pointed to Jesus Christ the ultimate Savior and Solution. Fish4souls.org

What is expositional preaching...expository what?

 What is the living Word?

What is topical preaching? Should a pastor preach topically?

Got questions about a healthy Bible teaching church?

How do we decide which books belong in the Bible since the Bible does not say which books belong in the Bible?

Can or should we interpret the Bible literally? Is there one proper way to do that?

What does the Bible say about teaching?

What does the Bible say about prosperity? So many love to preach about that and then they sometimes get rich pressuring the people for bucks. #FalseTeachers

Prescription or nonprescription drug addiction is a disease! It is isn't it? Naww...nope. Never has been. And sup with alcoholism?

Well Kurt, alcoholism is for sure! Naw. If alcoholism is a disease.. it’s the only one that can be bottled and sold. If it is a disease, it’s one of the only ones (like illicit drug use) that induces different crimes. Ask some cops where so SO many crimes happen?

Me thinks so profoundly : ) if ya never take a drink, you’ll never sin by gettin’ drunk.Duh! My parents were alcoholics, but have overcome it. I am grateful and love em. They are still together today.

Every noticed that no drinker thinks they'll get hocked on it. Alcoholism, not a lasting fun life at all.  Ya can't get hooked if ya don't grab a drink or hang tight with those into it. I spend limited time with the lost and carnal Christians cuz I want to live as a witness and share the word if they are open to this. Who are your closes friends?

Personally, I’ve never seen one positive thing come from drinking. My favorite US President never drank and accomplished far more than the other ones.

When I lived in Bavaria for some five years I enjoyed alcohol free Löwenbräu or when out for dinner with Liney some Chateau De Fleur Non-alcoholic Sparkling Wine from time to time. Wasn’t a stumbling block for any.

Wherever I wander following Jesus, really wanna avoid all appears of evil when a watching world gives a flip about how I walk.

Alcoholism just plain doesn't seem or act like a disease does it? While attending Dana Hills High in So Cal, (not at the school but) I used to drink too much and often with my surfer buds. It’s fun for a season but it really wasn’t good for us.

I never want to take my own personal convictions and try to put those on others people. If Christians sit in a hotel lobby bar or have a drink, I never judge them. Where in the Bible does it say, Thou shalt not drink period. It doesn’t. Grace let’s people be what they choose to be and do. Be gracious, not controlling. You and I aren’t better than any, believer. Just better off.

Who are you to condemn someone else’s servants? Their own master will judge whether they stand or fall. And with the Lord’s help, they will stand and receive his approval.“ Romans 14:4

“Wine produces mockers; alcohol leads to brawls. Those led astray by drink cannot be wise.“ Proverbs 20:1

Why did Noah curse his inconsiderate son, Ham aka Canaan?

Is being drunk in the Spirit a biblical experience?

He rescued his fam. Builder, husband, dad, man of God..after such a big victory.. why did Noah get drunk after the flood?

Is getting drunk a sin? What does God say about that?

Why did Lot offer up his daughters to be gang raped? Why did God allow Lot’s daughters to later have sex with their father?

How should a Christian view alcoholics? What does the Bible say about drunkards?

Rather than get drunk, be filled with the Comforter -- the Holy Spirit. What is Christian spirituality in the Spirit?

Will people get drunk in the last days? Uhh..yep. What will be the end times, one-world religion?

Should wine or grape juice be used for communion?

Deal faithfully. Be trustworthy, follow Jesus close - yeah, a daily choice for you and me.

Might sound crazy or perhaps religious even, or at least it used to.

Pre-rapture, at the end of the world I still want to be a world changer. God, please keep, fill, guide..please use me and my friends in some good way that glorifies You.

So many people make the wrong choice(s) and turn corrupt. That's why we need to be filled with the word and Holy Spirit daily. You can repent of your sin, believe and be led by the Spirit today!

Opt to be a worldchanger at the end of the world if ya will, at least at the end of your world experience here. Noah was and he "found grace in the eyes of the Lord" (Gen. 6:8). He and Lot both lived before a cataclysm arrived. Was it due to his lame example that Lot set that he couldn't even get his own wife to safety?

Let's all be and live righteous before the Lord. We can in Jesus Christ! I've been thinking a lot about Noah lately, not a whole lot about Lot really. Both were real persons of course. Noah preached the truth for over 600 years. You know that door of his ark which was a type of Christ... stayed open a long time so anybody could go into it and be safe. Why didn't more go in? Only Noah's family went in and then later his son mocked his dad. Noah had gotten naked and drunk. Was Noah depressed or what? Man, why did he do that. I love how the Bible ain't like a movie, it's doesn't hide the flaws of it's heros, but says it like it happened. Do you think about Lot in the city some? He was a city person who also lived way back in the day. I can empathize. He sure had a hard time trying to even get his relatives to believe the truth about gettin' out of town for safety.

You researched it well but they say they have better sources with the news media. Yeah, perhaps you too have friends and family members that look at you like you're wearing a tin foil hat because you simply don't believe their media lies anymore. CNN NPR AP Fox News etc, they carry water for half-there corrupt Joe and Harris, the CCP-sock-puppets.

Sorry about that. Pray and preach the word in love anyways. Getting Christ's Gospel out in the power of His Spirit there's no greater use of your time. I wonder how fast things will head south when there's no more real voting or when the Rapture happens.

When Martin was under siege cuz of all the wrong that he'd seen, he earnestly sought and found his Mighty Fortress for eternal safety.

Strong rock-cleft for me, let me hide myself in Thee.

Not passive or unpassionate, but waiting on the Lord on fire, not fearful but taking ground for the Kingdom, not uninformed but learning truth by His Bible illumination, not unproductively here but instead live constructive by God's Spirit. Real passion comes from God. Ask. He hates lukewarm-apathy and indifference.. not hating people like that. He loves us all and expects us to live passionately in Him. Every area of our lives is to be touched by His passion. We all are to love Christ 24/7/365 passionately! God says...

"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men.." Col. 3:23

"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no activity or planning or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead) where you are going." Eccl. 9:10 amp

Man, remember Noah's ark? He was passionate for God and ran into it. It was like a cleft, a type of Christ. It was a safe refuge that went through a gnarly killer storm. The most beautiful thing about that ark as seen earlier, was that the door of it just stayed open a long time so that anyone could just come on in and hide away if ya will. It was mercy that God had Noah build the big "boat." I love God and His great mercy, that rescues sinners like me! He does that. I love His grace as well.

Please opt to be a worldchanger in the Father's worldchanging Son.. at the end of the world if ya will. You know it's at least the end of your world experience here right?

Noah was one who reached out to others in his world. He loved God, people, and perhaps even animals it would appear. He "found grace in the eyes of the Lord" (Gen. 6:8). Do you remember Noah's directives?

Noah and Lot both lived at the end of the world so to speak. Each at the end of their world right before a cataclysm arrived. You too can be spiritually "fruitful and multiply" here on earth while here. We can feel empathy and compassion like God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit do towards all those that God created. The Bible says, "And all flesh died that moved on the earth: birds and cattle and beasts and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man. All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, all that was on the dry land, died." Gen. 7:21-22

Are you kinda not sure of where to go? Jesus said, "I am the way.." Thee way, not one way among many. All roads do lead to God so to speak at his exacting judgment bar, but only one Way takes you into his heavenly Home. It's via Jesus..

Do you have a couple sock puppets as leaders? Do you live in a land that looks like it needs a military coup because of a well planned forceful foreign takeover and occupying force? I can relate. Am not sayin’ what you should do, ask your Lord. Not sure of all that will happen in the future here with the DC Uniparty and CCP pulling the strings, but one day soon there will be a good military coup that rescues and restores all (the whole hijacked planet), as Christ and his mighty heavenly hosts return to take over here. First we get the Rapture (of his Church) and seven years later, the great coup.

I'm looking forward to the millennium, the Kingdom age with its flawless undefeated King. But until the Sweet By and By we've got to live in the nasty here and now and there are enclaves.

I live in three enclaves of sorts: Texas, Prestonwood church, and more importantly, in Christ. Come to Texas if you can, it's peaceful.. or come along with Texas (other states). But more importantly come to Christ.. come back to Christ today. Walk in Him, in his love and will for you.. yes in Him. Walk in His Spirit and come back to church, to your forever Family, to a spiritually healthy one.. who will also welcome you with open arms. Christ will, his real Church will, and I will.

A Mighty Fortress Is Our God -- great song by reformer, Martin Luther. This hymn inspires us to find forgiveness, strength, solace, protection and provision in Christ. Yes, in Him, and in his love we can enjoy a free salvation amid horrific opposition, amid the dangers toils and snares. Amid the corruption and woes of mortality. While here we truly have a best Friend who will fight for us, One who's in charge of all the armies above. And none come close, or are more powerful than this God with his host of heaven. have you been ripped off lately in small or in ginormous ways? Take courage in the courageous one. There is a rest we can enter and enjoy in our first love. When all hope fails he is still our Living Hope.

Ever heard that false money-grubbing song jingle of Johann Tezel? Ever seen an actual Catholic “indulgence” that had been sold in hopes of gaining God's grace just to get out of future fegefeuer aka purgatory or help others get out? (A place that doesn't exist. Besides God grace has always been free really). On Saturday, October 31, 1517, a 33-year-old theology professor at Wittenberg University walked over to the Castle Church in Wittenberg and nailed a paper of 95 theses to the door, hoping to spark an academic discussion about their contents. In God’s providence and unbeknownst to anyone else that day, it would become a key event in igniting the Reformation. Had he ever done this before—nail a set of theses to the Wittenberg door?

Martin had certainly proposed sets of such for academic debate, which was all he was really doing on that Saturday 10/31/'17. In fact, in September of that same year, Luther had led a debate on scholastic theology where he said many other things of so called radical Bible truth. Let's all be in God's word and that bold.

Ever been to the town of Eisenach Germany? Dunno, Luther may have also posted his Ninety-five Theses on the door of All Saints' Church and other churches in Wittenberg, in accordance with his University custom.

A Mighty Fortress Is Our God" is one of the best-known hymns by the reformer, Martin Luther. I've been to his hometown, dwelling, and church--used to live in Germany. But this hymn inspires us to find strength in God's love and salvation amid the woes of mortality.

1) "A mighty fortress is our God,

a bulwark never failing;

our helper he, amid the flood

of mortal ills prevailing.

For still our ancient foe

does seek to work us woe;

his craft and power are great,

and armed with cruel hate,

on earth is not his equal.

2) Did we in our own strength confide,

our striving would be losing,

were not the right Man on our side,

the Man of God's own choosing.

You ask who that may be?

Christ Jesus, it is he;

Lord Sabaoth his name,

from age to age the same;

and he must win the battle.

3) And though this world, with devils filled,

should threaten to undo us,

we will not fear, for God has willed

his truth to triumph through us.

The prince of darkness grim,

we tremble not for him;

his rage we can endure,

for lo! his doom is sure;

one little word shall fell him.

4) That Word above all earthly powers

no thanks to them abideth;

the Spirit and the gifts are ours

through him who with us sideth.

Let goods and kindred go,

this mortal life also;

the body they may kill:

God's truth abideth still;

his kingdom is forever!" ~ M.L.

For me, not against me is my God who leads me. I was lead and live in a nice enclave called Texas that is now seeking to secede and take some states with em (I hope they can put it off)..and Ken Paxton here along with other leaders are taking steps to fight back against all the junk DC is pushin' our way.

I live in a nice enclave of sorts it's like a big city, my growing healthy Bible teaching church. Wonderful people like-minded, lots of no spiritually compromise types that will stand the ground.

Best of all.. I live in an enclave of sorts, a real and strong refuge called Christ who understands totally and fights for me...for us because of his great love for us. In Christ the solid rock I stand all other ground is sinking sand. Go study the hymns and works of Martin Luther who lived in a Time sort of like ours. An almighty fortress Is Our God, he always wins and he never loses. When we at the hands of wicked men who cheat, have suffered losses here, God makes that backfire in the faces of our enemies. He makes it all work together for our goods like a lovely tapestry (we see the backside mess, the scrambled thread and strings sometimes, but He sees the front and the finish product). I am like his poema. It cuz we love him and are called according to his eternal purposes. See this is still to be found in the Bible, in Romans 8:28-29. world history can be broken down into three parts: generation degeneration regeneration (there was the pristine creation of God here, there was the fall of Adam in the sin -- we've all sinned, but through repentance and faith in Jesus we can be regenerated in our human spirit -- be born again spiritually). Yes, your own life can be as well. Perhaps you've suffered some degeneration lately from the ravages of this world and sin, well you can be regenerated in Christ your Refuge. Even now, He'll accept you. (Luther's home in Eisenach below)

Got a good place to hide away from all the chaos?

“Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee;
Let the water and the blood,
From Thy wounded side which flowed,
Be of sin the double cure,
Save from wrath and make me pure.

Not the labor of my hands
Can fulfill Thy law's demands;
Could my zeal no respite know,
Could my tears forever flow,
All for sin could not atone;
Thou must save, and Thou alone.

Nothing in my hand I bring,
Simply to Thy cross I cling;
Naked, come to Thee for dress;
Helpless, look to Thee for grace;
To Thy fountain Lord I fly;
Wash me, Savior, or I die.

While I draw this fleeting breath,
When my eyes shall close in death,
When I rise to worlds unknown,
And behold Thee on Thy throne,
Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee.” ~  Bob Kauflin

There’s a place for you to rightly fit in. Snug and clean. Live in there..in Him.. sound, safe, secure. Not passive, not fearful, not uninformed, not unproductively. Remember Noah's ark? It was like a cleft, a safe refuge in the storm. The most beautiful thing about it earlier was that the door just stayed open a long time so anyone could just come on in. God's mercy, that rescues sinners like me!Not sure of where to go?

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

”In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” John 1:4

”For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will..” John 5:21,25-29

”Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep..” John 10:7,9

”Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

Christ is full of grace, mercy and glory. All are invited to come to God. WE are  in the age of grace right now, the door is open. Won’t always be. Basically, all roads do lead to God at his very exacting judgment bar, but only one way takes you into his heavenly Home. Jesus. Fish4souls.org

There are trials, attacks and afflictions here at times. Yes, it's not always safe for your physical body, but you are safe in Jesus. I'm leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms. His. I'm in the Cleft. I say lean forward in Him, and go that way with Him leading too! Did you know that 50% of the population lean forward and the other half lean the other way when in danger. I say lean into Him as your Refuge and advance!

Say it like it is.

Honesty, first vertically and then horizontally, that’s the best policy

“I will say to God my Rock, ‘Why have You forgotten me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?’” —Psalm 42:9

It’s been months of stress for many people during this successful but negative coup.

Hey, when you’re going through a time of stress and difficulty, do you ever feel like you don’t want to pray—or when you do pray, you feel as though you’re reaching a sky of brass?

The Psalmist (see 42) called out to God and got honest with him. Again and again he took his problems, frustrations, grief, mourning and pain to the throne of God. Smart, cuz God helps us in our time of need. And he can meet every need too.

Guys, sometimes it helps to write the prayer (like journaling it on your laptop).. listing all the concerns for Christ, cuz it’s slows the process down some. God likes it when we get specific in praising, thanking and asking.

Please don’t stop praying. Gettin' real with your first-love, your God, your very best Friend. If nothing more, go to the Lord with fewer words, with whispers and tell Him how much you miss Him.. how you feel, how much you long for the ultimate fulfillment of his presence. Ask him honest questions, he might answer you now..or later on. Tell Him how crushed you’ve been -- he’s still our living hope and he’ll meet you right where you are. At your point of need. Would you pray something like.. Lord, help our nation gone sideways. We need you gobs.

During times of extreme stress and hardship, or times of a bit less stress even, examine your own heart. No time for idols or miss-focus. Let’s remind ourselves of the acronym CURE:

- Call on the Lord (like the Psalmist did in 42),

- Uncover the hidden longings and hopes of your heart,

- Remember the goodness of God in times past -- he’ll be good to you again (recall how he's answered prayers for you and for others like in the Bible), and..

- Exhort yourself (encourage and edify yourself by meditating upon, by speaking and by praying God’s words. Remind him of his promises even though he hasn’t forgotten them or you).

Christ and all he’s going to do is the ultimate cure for each of us and for our world gone crazy. How are you feeling and doing today? Have you strayed away some? Come to... come back to Jesus. Right now, you'll be glad you did. Let's pray right here. "Lord, I turn and trust you completely."

Don't put it off. Now is good!

"My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?" v. 2 (see whole context)

"When I remember these things, I pour out my soul within me." v. 4a

“Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance.” v. 5

“I will say to God my Rock, “Why have You forgotten me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?” v. 9

“Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God.” v. 11 fish4souls.org .. SeeNations .. Minister to those in cities too.

Mark 10:9 says, “Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” Your marriage and sex life can be blessed of God cuz He created you and invented both. Duh!

“When I have learnt to love God better than my earthly dearest, I shall love my earthly dearest better than I do now.” —C.S. Lewis

If marriage doesn't end your selfishness, then selfishness will likely end your marriage.

You know that's what ends them.

If selfishness will keep you and or your "fiancé" from even properly marrying considerately, then that selfishness will undoubtedly end that relationship.

“God created marriage. No government subcommittee envisioned it. No social organization developed it. Marriage was conceived and born in the mind of (an unselfish) God.”  —Max Lucado

Man's love is so small, and God's is BIG. God is love so when you run out of love, just go to Him and ask. He's unselfish and delights to pour His perfect agape love into your heart.

As 1 Corinthians 13 so says, “let all that you do be done in love.”

Fiancé and fiancée -- both words are correct. You know there’s nothin’ wrong at all with bein’ a fiancé if you really are right. What’s destructive - living as a  fiancé in sexual immorality. Now, don’t get mad at me, tryin’ to help you.

It's amazing how many so-called fiancees never marry cuz of selfishness. One so often never has any intention to it says they do cuz of selfishness.

If a farmer's been enjoying free milk for decades, why should he fork over big money (or risk losing money later)..to buy that cow so to speak? Think logically, and be blessed long-term. Don't be unequally yoked with someone selfish and dead inside, or alive and selfish.

Perhaps you’ve got some honest questions about marriageWhat’s even the validity of marriage in today’s world that seems so whack? Or about a marriage ceremony? Be unselfish, there is a timing  for that. Be considerate.

What even constitutes a real marriage? What about wear wedding rings? Are they even needed? We’ve got some -- they’re okay.

If marriage is so difficult, why should I even consider it? I find it can be made easy, but at times challenging cuz I have to say no to my own way and honestly I was born so selfish.

My personal opinions are really no better than the next guy, perhaps worth a nickel. But what does God  the Bible say about selfishness?

What does God in the Bible have to say about a common law marriage? Or about ‘bout gay marriage aka same sex marriage?

What does the Bible say about fornication (sex outside of a man woman marriage)? Is there a difference between fornication and adultery? Yep. What does He say about sexual immorality? Or about about pedophilia / paedophilia which many today have a problem with? What about the practice of a marriage annulment? Is it valid? Does God really have a design for marriage?  What is the purpose of of it - marriage? What about about making a second marriage a real success? Sure, it can happen. You can be blessed, but do it right the first time and be blessed. You know that’s better. How should one  respond to being in a loveless marriage? Sadly there are many of those. Don’t get too busy with other stuff. Where can I find viable solutions for solving marriage problems?

Here’s a tough one. Why would God’s law command a woman who is not a virgin on her wedding night to be stoned to death?

Should Christians attend weddings of those in other faiths? I do cuz they are my friends. We can do that without spiritual compromise.

Why did Jesus choose the wedding at Cana for His first miracle?

How should your wedding be blessed and different from a non-Christian wedding?  What is the meaning of the Parable of the Wedding Feast?

Take all the time you need. Sup with the timing -- is there really a right time for marriage? Are you in a unhappy marriage? My li’l sister was cuz she wanted some kids and found out her lover turned husband did not. She got murdered in her home in South Texas. Miss her a lot.

Should anyone be opposed to marriage equality?

Should a Christian attend the wedding of a gay couple?

What does He have to say about selfish character traits? Can one overcome their sexual sin? Yuuup.

What does it mean to do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit (Philippians 2:3)?

What does the Bible say about a selfish abuser? Get away from any abuser--you are God’s property and he REALLY doesn’t want you abused.

What should be different about your marriage, so it will be beautiful for you? Know and love the Lord more than your bff, or lover, or spouse. We love each other best when we know and love Jesus Christ most. You’ve heard it’s kinda like a triangle with you and one corner and your spouse at the other corner and with God at the top corner. The closer you get to God, the closer you will be together. It’s true. Come to...come back to him now.

I want to make my marriage last long - what is the key? Really, a so called key?

“A man doesn’t own his marriage; he is only the steward of his wife’s love.” —Ed Cole

“When a man and a woman give themselves to each other in an act of marital love, they can know the love of Christ as no one else can know it.” —J. Vernon McGee

“There is no more lovely, friendly or charming relationship, communion or company, than a good marriage.” —Martin Luther
