"If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.” 2 Timothy 2:21
What does it mean that women are the “weaker vessel” (1 Peter 3:7)." All indeed can become strong spiritually.. as reborn Christians in Jesus!
What do you know of that gray area principle ..you know if you’re free to or not? That is, as a born again Christian if you have liberty to from God. I mean if it isn’t wrong for you cuz you have the technical and the moral right to do it.
The Bible isn’t always clear on the little specifics we each are free to do as we follow the Lord.
Listen, there are two things basically that should determine whether you do that certain grey area stuff or not, believer.
1. Even though it is technically right, how will it effect others?
2. Even though it is okay for you, morally or technically, how will it effect you if you do it? So there are two considerations when you’re talking about something the Bible doesn’t forbid: how will it effect others if you do it, and how will it effect you if you do it? Will you sin and or get ensnared?
Will you live on as qualified for effective ministry service, or as a disqualified believer for service (Why fall into temptation and sin/get ensnared)? You matter and choices like this matter.
"For I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea, and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, and all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ. Nevertheless, with most of them God was not pleased, for they were overthrown in the wilderness. Now these things took place as examples for us, that we might not desire evil as they did." 1 Corinthians 10:1–6 esv
