Steady on ..faithful.. with some kick wins the race.

Steady on with some kick wins the race.

Steady on with some kick wins the race.  #KickIt!  #WorldlyWorksOfTheFlesh  #ToTheCurbAndObey

Steady on in Him with some kick wins the race! Yep, as the Lord directs..

I mean in this race of faith. Christ calls us to be faithful. He never said, Hey, I expect you to be uber-quick, to all-out compete in your zippy-run, to be super-skilled, to be hot-lookin'. Nope, never once said, You better be fast as lightening - Hurry up! So......should we not be quick to hear and obey God's delegated and direct authority?

Sure we should, but how can anyone even start to do that ..filled with doubt instead of being steady-faithful? Yo, God wants you and me full of biblical faith inside (not with some flashy televangelist's strange kinda speak it to create your wealth word-faith), yes, in His living Word cuz without real faith it's impossible to please Him. "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ." Romans 10:17

The Lord won't say, "Well done, good and uber-fast servant." He ain't really gunna say, "Well done, good and very talented, handsome, and rich servant." Seriously, God won't say, "Well done, thou religious and mostly proper servant." No, no, Oh noooO, Barney Buckerooo! What will He say then? Glad you asked. Read on…

"Only fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart. For consider what great things he has done for you." 1 Samuel 12:24

"Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart." Proverbs 3:3

"By faithfulness we are collected and wound up into unity within ourselves, whereas we had been scattered abroad in multiplicity." ― Augustine

"Being faithful in the smallest things is the way to gain, maintain, and demonstrate the strength needed to accomplish something great." ― Alex Harris

Success, speed, wealth, outward appearance, extraordinary physical talent.. that's the world's criterion of merit; faithfulness the Lord's—yes, fidelity is God's.

"One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much." Luke 16:10

"And he charged them: 'Thus you shall do in the fear of the Lord, in faithfulness, and with your whole heart...'" 2 Chronicles 19:9

Run righteously in relationship with Christ. Stay in your lane and follow the good rules. Faithfulness is not doing something right once because the boss is watching, but doing something right over and over and over and over with consistency full of biblical faith cuz your Master is watching and you want to please Him.

"A faithful man will abound with blessings, but whoever hastens to be rich will not go unpunished." Proverbs 28:20

"Love the Lord, all you his saints! The Lord preserves the faithful but abundantly repays the one who acts in pride." Psalm 31:23, emph. mine

"She sang, as requested. There was much about love in the ballad: faithful love that refused to abandon its object; love that disaster could not shake; love that, in calamity, waxed fonder, in poverty clung closer." ― Charlotte Brontë, Shirley

"After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.
So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, 'Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.'
"His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'
"He also who had received two talents came and said, 'Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.'
"His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'
"Then he who had received the one talent came and said, 'Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed.
'And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have [what is] yours.'
"But his lord answered and said to him, 'You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed.
'So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest.
'Therefore take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.
'For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.
'And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'" ~ Jesus, Matt. 25:19-30

"The reward of being 'faithful over a few things' is just the same as being 'faithful over many things'; for the emphasis falls upon the same word; it is the 'faithful' who will enter 'into the joy of their Lord.'" ― Charles S. Robinson

"We have come to a turning point in the road. If we turn to the right mayhap our children and our children's children will go that way; but if we turn to the left, generations yet unborn will curse our names for having been unfaithful to God and to His Word." ― Charles Spurgeon

If you blow it along the way, believer, just stop and take responsibility for it. Many don't. When we sin and are unfaithful He remains faithful still. Get up again and run your race. I'd say, examine yourself well to see if you are really in the faith. Have you done that? Go tell on yourself ..first to God. Confess, turn from, forsake the sin. Run to Him, not away. Run to a decent pastor, not away. Run to a sound church, not away and let God firm plant you where you can grow in the Word. Receive free forgiveness.. from God not from some "man of the cloth" who merely says he can do that.

Admit it and quit it. Change. Advance in the race ..His race for you.. yes, together with Christ. Go forward on-fire for Jesus, not as some carnal or worldly or stiffly religious cold-hearted nominal Christian. No, grow stronger in His grace and Bible-truth..daily.

Guess what.. God will indeed forgive you, cleanse you, restore you, and impart His faithfulness to you. How cool is that! And people will know you are a real person ..not proud. They'll be able to relate to you cuz they blow it at times too. Wanna finish the race you were born to run? Wanna start being faithful? Like at: Facebook.com/shareJesus
