Work hard and smart.. for what lasts. Six is good, I mean days, and rest can be good too. "Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest: in..." Exodus 34:21

Seed planting, watering and reaping -- I love it. "As long as the earth remains, there will be planting and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night." Genesis 822

During all days that the earth is under our feet before the Rapture here, there'll be seed-time..casting it out, tending to it all, and then comes the harvest. There'll be cold and heat, the seasons.. fall, winter, spring and summer, and day and night, they will not cease. We just need to walk with Christ and make good use of our time here while we can. Ask for help and let Jesus the Lord of life ..lead you.

Unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. John 12:24.

Question.. ever seen the wheat fall to the ground? Ever watch the afternoon air on a ranch or farm.. filled with seeds floating by horizontally.. and then to the ground? Who likes to see anything fall or die? Not me. Who feels like watching that? Not me.

But good can come on the other side of that happening really.

I love the dew on the long grass in the morning on a farm and the sound of the Bob White birds....and the other song birds like the Martins that would return in the Spring around April from South America. I love the robins too. I love the seeds growing, and the tree house by the creek. I love the peace and quiet out on a ranch.... not all the sirens or car sounds. I like the pigs and cats and horses and crops. I love the barns, the potato, the small fall crops in the garden, and the night skies with all the stars a lot!

Before Jesus was crucified, He told His followers about how he’d die, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.. unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds” (John 12:23–24).

Lord Jesus, wanna know you well, and then make you well known. God, we are amazed by Your love, by your mercy, by your glory. Give us grace to serve You today as we long to do.. give us a fresh anointing to obey and go the distance with you.

While Christ’s disciples wanted Him to be honored as the Messiah, He came here to earth to give His life so that we could be changed -- forgiven and transformed through faith in Him. He is our very best friend..sure, will you let him be today?
As Jesus’s followers, we hear and read his powerful words, “Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me” (vv. 25–26).
Helicopter seeds, fluffy white seeds, or other kinds of seeds out on a ranch can kind of point us to the miracle of Jesus and his resurrection out of that lonely cold tomb. They can remind of the One who loves us most, the Savior, who died that we might live for Him. That we might enjoy abundant and eternal life.
