Always go with the light. Yes in spite... of it all.

"Maintain that aura of light!" (What!? An electromagnetic field? I hear em say it..) "I like your energy, Kurt. Man, never lose that, dude."

When I feel bright, and not uptight? The energy arrives after my afternoon nap and a good meal with some fresh espresso.
What did God create on the fourth day of creation?
What did God create on the first day of creation?
What does it mean that God is light?
What did Jesus mean when He said, “I am the Light of the World” (John 8:12)?
What does it mean that Satan masquerades as an angel of light?
What does it mean that a city on a hill cannot be hidden (Matthew 5:14)?
What is the outer darkness in Matthew 22:13?
What does it mean that “the Lord is my light and my salvation” (Psalm 27:1)?
Darkness, Sup with that? And what does it mean that “God gave them over” in Romans 1:24–28?
What is the biblical doctrine of illumination?
Light and darkness. What does it mean to call evil good and good evil (Isaiah 5:20)?
Be bright, avoid the plight and yeah.. it’ll be all right.

God says in John 1:5, “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

Always was and always will be -- God is light and there is no darkness in Him, no evil or evil intent in Him at all. He is good -- so become “children of light” (John 12:36) and children of the day.. instead of children of the night. Why fight..it or Him, be bright?

There is a fight. Oh so right and bright. Against our old fleshly nature, against the temptations and sin, against this corrupt world and that dweeb, Mr. Lu-Cifer (you know of that creepy devil and his fallen angel thugs).

Remember back. Even in the creation account, the light and dark had to be separated (Gen 1:4)..and guess what.. it took an act of God to do it.

Luke 1:79 “to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”

Jesus came to bring light into a dark, sin-stained world and that’s why He is often referred to as the light of the world (John 8:12).

Those who were in darkness were sitting in darkness and the shadow of death was upon them.

You know how light is “to guide our feet into the way of peace.” It cost Him His life. If free for you, but it’ll cost you everything. No more idols, Sport.

Jesus said in John 12:46, “I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.”

So many people haven’t turned and trusted Jesus yet. They still live in darkness today. It’s sad so let’s go tell em the bad news.. all have sinned and there is a real place called Hell that God wants you to avoid by coming to His Son.. Bad news and then tell em the Good News so they’ll appreciate it and Him.

Psalm 18:28 “For it is you who light my lamp; the Lord my God lightens my darkness.”

Light overcomes the darkness...it’s going to happen (See John 1:5).

Light will always overcome the darkness just as “everyone who has been born of God overcomes this world system. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith” (1 John 5:4).

John 8:12 “Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

We choose to turn and trust God, we choose to obey Him in the light -- we’re children of the day. Since Jesus is God and Jesus is the light of the world, those who follow Him have their path illuminated and thus, all who follow Christ “will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

God says in 1 John 2:9, “Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness.”

Do you have said faith or saving faith? Many people say that they are the children of God but they still walk in darkness. They are His creation, but not yet His children. If your parents were, that doesn’t make you His kids. God has no grandkids.

So if anyone says that they are in the light but they hate their brother or sister guess what..  they’re really still in darkness.

Good choice for all -- come out and be separate says the Lord. Be not conformed to his world, be transformed in your mind with the word. Come out of this corrupt world system and walk with your Lord.

Buford, you simply cannot say that you love God but hate your brother or sister “For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness” (1 Thessalonians 5:5)

Livin’ in the light of God’s love, we simply won’t be outside or inside doing works of darkness.

Ephesians 5:8 “for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.”

Paul wants his readers to reflect on how great of a salvation we have in Christ. He said that once we were like those still sitting in darkness but that is history for those who have repented and trusted in Christ. We came out of the pitch black, darkness of sin and entered into the light of Christ so Paul admonishes us to “walk as children of the light” for such we are.

Jesus said in John 3:19 “And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.”

The Just Judge of all the universe will rapture His church out. If you miss that, He will come again to the earth. He will come someday, and will judge those who loved the darkness because the darkness cloaked their sin-habits. I’m a sinner and you are too, but Jesus is the solution for all that.

I still sin sometimes these days and I hate that (hurts God and doesn’t help anyone), but I have come into the light, been born from above. I voluntarily came to Christ, and confessed my sins, repented, and trusted in Christ. (Blog)

Can happen for you too, Bertha.. whosoever will can come.. as they are willing to be changed by God. For those who refuse to bow the kneed to Christ, their evil works, being done in darkness, will all be exposed someday and be judged in perfect righteousness and that will mean that everyone will be judged for what they have done in this life (Rev 20:12-15) so you can have your sins judged today and removed through Jesus’ work at Calvary or pay for them yourselves and that payment will never end (Rev 21:8).

God, you are not ill-affected by the absence of light in many places here because “even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you” (Psalm 139:12).

The Father gave us a perfect Christmas gift when He sent us His Son to die on Calvary's Cross in our place. And each of us, if we choose to, can freely receive Christ by faith as our Savior and Lord today. Right now even.

"But whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God, the Creator of all light, and He shines forever without change or shadow." James 1:17

Jesus says of Himself, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12).

People opt to send themselves into hell by rejecting God’s only Solution for them -- Christ. Why not be dif and walk into that light if you have not already done so. Yeah, instead of just sending yourself off into that love-less place of weeping and gnashing of teeth where there is utter darkness and despair (Matt 8:12; 22:13; 25:30) and God really doesn’t desire that for anyone (1 Peter 3:9).
