Boldness doesn't mean you never feel afraid. It means that you never allow your feelings or fears to stop you from obeying him who is the truth.
Couragiously become good at prayerfully delegating to yourself first regardless of your circumstances or what you feel, and then tactfully delegate to others under your watch care. Learn to wisely lead yourself first before you lead others. If I learn to submit in following Christ well then I can be a blessing to His followers going after him.
If you fail, just learn from it. Admit it and quit it asking Christ to forgive you (confess, freely appropriate). Get back up, walk close, and advance spiritually.
Every day is a new chance to start again with your kind Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ, gently leading you. He delights to bless and use his people. Accurately hear his words, his heart, grow in his grace and truth, and thrive from nine to five ..and later even. Don't fear the unknown, like with the 365 days ahead, embrace the great adventure of faith each day with open arms and a soft heart open to learn what's really so. Remember, every day is a gift, and every moment is an opportunity to make a difference in your life and in the lives of those around you. Plant seeds, water seeds, tend, and reap. Why take a deep breath, pray a simple prayer choosing to be brave. Sure, boldly face the future with courage and confidence from him. You got this in the Lord!
"No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you. 'Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.'” Joshua 1:1-9 nlt
God is still holy (distinct, set apart, other than) and calls us to separation from the world.
1.) He balances our lives against burn-out and weirdness.
2.) Let's remain open for wise counsel towards effectiveness and
3.) Stay humble regarding both Direct Authority, and delegated authority.
Have you been humble enough to accept good advice like bold Moses did in Exodus 18.
From our close vertical (by faith, righteous) relationship, we are called to boldly witness to the lost people of the nations. Yes, to repent of sin, to believe in God (Jesus), and allow Him to sanctify us all the way, to change each one of us from the inside out for His glory. Holy is happy! We are called to boldly walk righteously as holy people as well. And why? Because God is Holy, (set apart, distinct, other than) and He desires all peoples (all nations) to see what He is like. He wants fellowship with us on His Bible terms (instead of on our own terms).
