Return? "As if!"
That's what they say. I have been meeting New Yorkers this week who, after their whole life living there, never want to go back to Manhattan or anywhere near this state.
And they have their reasons.
How could we act like nothing serious has been happening in our Land and cities? How could we remain indifferent and apathetic? You and I don't want to be like that.
It's been shocking. So much quick escalation, rampant crime, and no real justice here anymore. What happened to our courts, judges and lawyers?
Got a love and fear that are healthy, that work against the breakdown and collapse of society (Prov. 8 13, 1:7)? You can. Decide.
"The human race afraid of nothing, rushes on through every crime." ~ Horace of Venusia
Jesus Christ is the ultimate Solution. Yes, for you, for me, for your city, for your loved ones and Land.
"You are the salt of the earth."—Matthew 5:13
Bottomline: Salt preserves what's good are we are to live salty in Christ. All of us. Can God use us in love to preserve what is good in our world.. buying some time to share His Message? Sure He can.
The Bible says, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up." 2 Peter 3:9-10 kjv
But what does the Bible say about all the crime here, and how are we to live?
Why merely be concerned and not pray about it, and not go live the life daily doing something to address this mess?
