Where it's possible to find happiness.

We’ve heard it before and never believed it, but happiness can actually be found on easy street.

Easy Street is a dead-end in Honolulu Hawaii

Have you been there before? I have, well not right on Easy Street but near it.

In truth, you can find the deepest sort of happiness with God on any street that you walk. Put Christ first. Follow close.

So blessed -- yeah, happy happy is the person who sits, walks, and runs gettin’ closer to God (with Christ's grace, with fellowship upwards and outwards, and with wise application of Bible truth) rather than closer to lame-worldly counsel while drifting further away from him.. away from the word of God. The Bible says...

"Do not be deceived: 'Bad company corrupts good character.” Sober up as you ought, and stop sinning; for some of you are ignorant of God.'" 1 Corinthians 15:33-34

It's a thing of choice for us daily. Prayerfully opt to.. yes, delight yourself in the word to please him. Say no to the gravitational pull, that thrust of downward digression (sad departure). Miserable is the man in the downdraft and wondering how it happened and why he feels this way. Say no to your fleshly nature that demands for you to do what it craves, to this world system and to Mr. Lu-Cifer. He and his crowd are liars, in fact he's the father of lies.

Remember when Jesus rebuked bad company -- those murderous religious leaders?

"You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies." John 8:44

Check out the context. "Jesus said to them, 'If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me.'" John 8:42

Now here is what you and I need to meditate upon..

“How happy is the man who does not follow the advice of the wicked or take the path of sinners or join a group of mockers! Instead, his delight is in the Lord’s instruction, and he meditates on it day and night. He is like a tree planted beside streams of water that bears its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. The wicked are not like this; instead, they are like chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore the wicked will not survive the judgment, and sinners will not be in the community of the righteous. For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to ruin.”  Psalms 1:1-6 hcsb Fish4souls.org .. SeeNations.tumblr.com .. Urbaane.tumblr.com
