What are basic rudiments of ministry? There's a handful of em huh. Humility, regeneration, love, truth, faith in the Jesus of the Bible, quick obedience, unity.

Repentance, simple faith and free forgiveness are so needed in our world today. Have you felt lonely, guilty, empty, insignificant, needy or afraid to die?  We can’t connect with our heavenly Father without having Jesus inside, and we won’t trust Jesus as Lord without really knowing Him.  We can’t know Him and real freedom.. livin’ independent from His written Word (apart from Bible essentials, sound doctrine) and honest believing prayer.  There’s zero spiritual growth apart from God’s Word.  How’s it all been working for you in your life?  Have you done it your own way or His?  Remember Jesus today -- He’s the Father’s only way for us sinners.  Remember Him when you see brokenness beyond repair, for He sees restoration beyond belief!  He knows His good plan for you. ~ @Kurtwvs

“Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.” 1 Peter 2:2-3

What are basic rudiments of Christian ministry?

- The foundation of ministry is godly character in Christ

- The nature of ministry is others-oriented-humble service (Ya, minister means servant)

- The motive for ministry is a pure love for God and people

- The measure of ministry is obedient Spirit-directed sacrifice

- The method of ministry is submission to direct and delegated Authority

- The purpose of ministry is acceptable worship and the glory of God.. enjoying Him forever

- The tools of ministry are loving prayer and the Word of God – grace and truth

- The privileges of ministry is growth, maturity and a harvest

- The power of ministry is the Gospel with the Holy Spirit

- The model for ministry is the Person of Jesus Christ

"For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every evil practice. But the wisdom from above is first of all pure, then peace-loving, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap the fruit of righteousness." James 3:16-18 (Live gracious and selfless with godly wisdom)

“..Make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being united in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.” Phil 2:2–4

“Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.” Philippians 2:3

What does it mean to do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit (Philippians 2:3)?

What does the Bible say about conflict resolution?

It’s so important--unity is. Yes, in a para-church ministry and in the church! Very powerful is our God who is pure light, who is life, who is love, who is truth, and thee way for us. Listen, unity around Him and the Essentials of the Bible are what impacts the lost.

In essentials unity, in nonessentials liberty, and in all things charity.” ~ Rupertus Meldenius in AD 1627 (others have quoted this later on)

Guess what.. brothers and sisters of all ages can abide in unity and enjoy anointed ministry together if they want to.

"A Song of Ascents. Of David. Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! (a choice. v 2) It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes! (It flows downward and covers like fresh morning dew, or even the anointing does. v 3) It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the LORD has commanded the blessing, life forevermore." Ps. 133:1-3 #emph.mine

Why is Christian doctrine so divisive?

Why is there so much division in the church?

"I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation from His wrath and punishment to everyone who believes in Christ as Savior, to the Jew first and also to the Greek." ~ The Apostle Paul, Romans 1:16 amp

The Gospel here is a unifying factor if we let it be. It's the power of God over demons, tough circumstances, the flesh, the corrupt world system, trials, persecutions, testings, tribulation and sin.  The Gospel tells us that the power of sin has been broken cuz of the Cross of Calvary.
