Got some tech-eyes, impure eyes, gamer eyes, social media eyes--what do yours take in? What do your eyes, ears, etc.. often go after?

Careful.. small and grown-up eyes, ears, hands, feet, mouths.
O be careful little eyes what you see
O be careful little eyes what you see
There’s a Father up above
And He’s looking down in love
So, be careful little eyes what you see
O be careful little ears what you hear
O be careful little ears what you hear
There’s a Father up above
And He’s looking down in love
So, be careful little ears what you hear
O be careful little hands what you do
O be careful little hands what you do
There’s a Father up above
And He’s looking down in love
So, be careful little hands what you do
O be careful little feet where you go
O be careful little feet where you go
There’s a Father up above
And He’s looking down in love
So, be careful little feet where you go
O be careful little mouth what you say
O be careful little mouth what you say
There’s a Father up above
And He’s looking down in love
So, be careful little mouth what you say.
What do you allow in your eye and ear gates. A lot of what we say and do is related to this stuff. Know God and be a good example for younger believers, young people.. for anyone. With this explosion of social media, gaming, and technology today, there comes a whole host of major challenges for both parents, young adults and children. Addictions to video games, pornography, and yes, even social media are becoming so common in our homes. We have great tools to use to learn and help others with, but remember.. there’s also a danger with these things. Duh!
So, how do we guard our hearts in this culture gone astray and that’s filled with so many seductive images that are available on our laptops, TVs and mobile devices? What can we do to ourselves, as well as to protect our children from pornography, violence, and the uber-weird dangers of the occult? How can we redeem such technology and use it for good and for God’s glory?
Our challenge, our aim with this stuff is rad-formidable, but this task before us is never as great as the Power within us believers–in Jesus Christ. Sure, if we are serious pleasing the Lord and about the purity He wants you to enjoy, God can and stands ready to help us do what we can’t. As always, the answers we seek are found in the Bible.
So… guard your heart. Life is about choices. “Be careful.”
“Be VERY careful… how you live” (Ephesians 5:15)
Walk circumspectly, in the light, in truth, in real love, in God’s wisdom. Choose life. Grow in your knowledge, in grace. Yes on every level.

Be careful what you see.. what you say.. what you do.. what you think. Don’t live as unwise people but as wise. Make the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

Paul the Apostle goes farther with these ideas to lovingly warn as well…
“…God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them.” (Ephesians 5:6-7)
“Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness…” (Ephesians 5:11)
IN FACT  “..it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. (v. 5:12)

Huh? No way, can’t happen with me, Kurt.  No stinkin’ way!  Way!  God can help and empower you through Jesus.  We ought do lots of safe edifying stuff as well as not do stuff that tears anyone down?

See what God says in Ephesians 5:4 “Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.”
Be careful little mouth what you say.
