He works in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure.. in that order.

You cannot do it.. be a consistently effective witness.. without the Word of God leading.. without the Holy Spirit empowering you.  

God doesn't really need us at all, but Jesus delights to work through us. We the Church are His Plan A and there is no Plan B. 

Won't pressure people to. God will not do it through you without you first being willing. 

And here's what's important to remember regarding this God and His saving work in people. It's known but it's not determined. You can choose to say "yes" or say "no" to God's only provision for your sin--Jesus Christ. 

God already knows today ..who will say "yes" and who will say "no." He knows the future now, but he hasn't determine who will get in and who will stay out of heaven. Whosoever will.. why there's still time to decide.. can turn and trust (repent and believe) to come to Him.
