Have you for some reason been feelin’ kinda down, hurt, disappointed, broken or sad today?

Man, sorry about that -- I hate that! Let’s see that fixed asap. Appropriate the word and memorize some verses that fit.
I’ve heard people say, “Christianity is just a crutch for really weak people.”
Not really! Christianity isn’t a crutch -- no, a crutch is a crutch.
Christianity is more like a whole hospital cuz of the Great Physician (Christ) in there! I’m not embarrassed or ashamed to admit that I look to, head to, lean on the Lord every day of my life in this world gone crazy. The harder I lean, the better I do in life. He’s there for us daily. Jesus comforts, heals, regenerates, quickens, restores -- yep, ”saves” lives in the fullest sense of that term. For who? Whomsoever will.
The top Doctor is still at work-- ain't finished yet. And God is near. He can take away all of the hurts, the sin, the brokeness, the diseases, the shame, the doubts, the spiritual sicknesses, the inner and outer pain, and even that stone cold hopeless experience in your life. Do you feel dead inside or are you dead inside?
He can fix that. He'll use all of it.. the good, the awkward-weird, the lame, the bad in your life.. to bless you. And to touch, help and minister to other people. He delights to pour out his kindnesses, to love, to encourage, to solace, and to make us into the men and women that he wants us to become.

Feel like nobody knows or cares today? God knows, freely forgives, encourages, sees you (sees it all), totally understands you.. and deeply CARES. He's got a good plan -- is thinking about your future.

Psalm 30:11... You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,

Deuteronomy 31:8... It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”

Psalm 3:3.. But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.

Isaiah 40:31... But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

John 10:10... The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

Philippians 4:13... I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

John 16:33... I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.

Isaiah 41:10... Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Matthew 11:28... Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Jeremiah 29:11... For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Proverbs 3:5-6... Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Psalm 143:7-8.. Answer me quickly, O Lord! My spirit fails! Hide not your face from me, lest I be like those who go down to the pit. Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.

Psalm 30:5... For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.

1 Peter 5:7.. Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

Philippians 4:6-7... Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Psalm 23:4... Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Romans 8:28... And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Where can I see depression in the Bible?

Proverbs 12:25.. Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad.

Romans 12:2... Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Come to Christ... or come back to him today. As you are, but willing to be changed by him into what you’ve always wanted to be. Facebook.com/shareJesus
