Live respectful of people (all). Hey, I can have balanced godly character and be pro police, be pro diversity (the Lord is.. havin’ created all of us), and be pro community in this extremely divided country. I can daily be wisely practical and primarily focused on the Lord at the same time. Live so heavenly minded (prayerfully) that you’re of early good. Gobs, yes a whole lot! The importance of proper structure under the law with good ORDER here instead of with chaos, instead of with racism or reverse racism inside -- it’s SO necessary in our society!
Walk in close relationship with.. always abiding in the Lord, so that when he appears in the clouds we may totally have Holy Spirit confidence like all real men exhibit, and not shrink back into the world like wimps, or shrink away from him in shame at his coming.
Be a man that's a child of God. Yes dudes, and act like real men. All of you men. It's only right.
Be brave, live the life by the power of the Spirit, and speak out for Jesus Christ today, and against all the evil. No time for the crazy violence, people-hate (including towards police, whites, and president).
No time for baseless-accusations with angry bad company, or for rebellion against direct and delegated authority. What does God say, believer? "Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong." 1 Corinthians 16:13
"And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink from him in shame at his coming." 1 John 2:28
Abide in, stay real close to, cling to, trust, obey, follow Christ and his good teachings. Never be afraid to trust an unknown future into the hands of a known Father.. into your God's hands.
You can trust Him and his Bible promises. When you run into something you don't understand (we all do at times..) just fall back on what you do understand..ie, that God totally loves you and has a good plan for your life. He ain't done with you, believer. He deeply cares. Sure, he's already suffered and can enter into your current suffering to help you.
Think once or twice. Prethink. Yes think it on through.
If you've been born only once..guess what.. you'll die twice. For real, but if you've been born twice (once spiritually) you'll die only once! Far better for ya!
If you've been born physically of the flesh, and then born again of the Spirit via repenting of sin and by faith receiving Christ's pardon aka forgiveness, then you’ll die only once--physically. God have freely given us this second chance.
But if you've only been born once, just physically, you're going to die twice! First the natural physical death; and second the spiritual death. Go do a study in the Bible on "the second death" (Rev.20:14).
You know Christ didn’t die for his own sins cuz he never sinned. He died on the Cross for the sins of the world -- yours and mine! He did that so you won't have to go through that horror of dying a sinner's lonely death and then experience non-stop HE-Double-Hockey-Sticks! God doesn’t want that for any human.
But those who reject God’s only provision for their sin, Christ's bloody atonement..they’ll indeed suffer for their own sins. Those who receive Jesus now are completely forgiven and will be completely relieved from the punishment of sin. "For the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin!" (1 Jn. 1:7)
May I say it one more time. If you have been born only once, you will have to die twice. But if you have been born twice, you will have to die only once (and you may even escape that one physical death if Jesus returns to the earth during your lifetime. That’s called the Rapture.
